I really enjoy this location only for Lunch. They have a great lunch menu with a good selection. I always enjoy the fried chicken salad. I spoke with the chef and told him how much I enjoy his food. LUNCH ONLY

This place is ridiculous. The service is terrible. The last 2 times we waited at a dirty table — the tables, floor and bathrooms are always dirty — for 10 minutes before my boyfriend went to the bar to ask about our server. When they finally come over they’re slow and unpleasant. The music is loud for no good reason. The waitress had to damn near crawl inside my mouth to hear my order and we couldn’t have a converation AT ALL with the friends we met there for dinner. We asked that it be turned down and the song was cut completely off for 2 minutes then another one was played even louder than the previous one. We cancelled our order and left. This could be a fun neighborhood place but it’s just poorly managed and ghetto. I will not be back.

I went here after church Bc all the soul food places were to pack to even get in the door Am start off with the good the waiter was really nice and affordable food. Now here is the bad the fish was kinda hard and my wings was over season tea was to sweet.

Worst of worst no Budlight second time then they charge it as domestic Really? Then I asked for management, they discussed their strategy before he came over so I said never mind I am good but I promise tomorrow their cheap ass will have budlight out the ass. Cool with me won’t be coming back. …PERIOD

This is by far the worst JR Crickets (Cascade Rd) in Atlanta. The name should be changed altogether because they are a horrendous representative of the franchise. I live in the neighborhood of SW Atlanta and I’ve only been to this location a few times for a game or 2. The wings i ordered were 20 hot with lemon pepper. They were just overly salty with a dash of lemon and no hot Buffalo sauce at all. Then when I mentioned it to my waitress, she gave me a «whatever…i dont give a…» look. After i expressed my distain for the wings, my mom and girlfriend wanted some more water and the waitress was no where to be found for over 20 minutes. When i got the check, i finally figured out why. After you tab reaches $ 40, they get an AUTOMATIC 18%. I have never heard of that before. A party of 6 – 8 or more people… yeah. Never go here. Its a waste of space and defouls the good name of JR Crickets. Instead go to the «New» Original JR Crickets on North Ave. You’ll enjoy the food everytime you go without a $ 40 gratuity for just ordering wings and things.

I would like to start by saying that I went on GROUPON and purchased the JR CRICKETS one for the dinner service trying to patronize them. This was the biggest mistake I could’ve ever made in my entire life. First, my husband and I arrived at or around 9pm on 03/​15/​2015 the place was near empty so I thought to myself ok its good the wait time should be lower than usual. Once the waitress arrived at our time I informed her that I had a GROUPON that I had printed out earlier today so that she nor I would have any surprises once I started placing my order. She stated she had to ask her manager about the GROUPON that was understandable because not all waitresses are familiar with GROUPON. Once she came back to the table she stated that manager said «I couldn’t use the GROUPON on paper I had to show it on my phone and I informed her I would like to talk to the manager on duty.» Once the manager came to the table he informed me he need to press something on my phone to show that it was redeemed. (OK, I GUESS???) So the my husband asked him «how would you know if the GROUPON was redeemed or not the manager on duty stated he didn’t know.» My husband also, asked «Why this establishment don’t have something in place that would be able to scan the GROUPON again he couldn’t answer that question.» That was only the beginning of our horrible service starting from the top with the Manager on Duty.(Unanswered questions) As being small business owners ourselves my husband was ready to leave and go home without eating from the start after the small altercation with the manager. From there we placed our orders which was an appetizer and two entrees the appetizer it took 35 to 45 minutes to receive our food which my husband said «was a step away from being burnt.» Once we received our food I didn’t know that if you ordered a wing and tender combo you had to pay for your sauce «REALLY WHAT ESTABLISHMENT DOES THAT» I can understand PAYING FOR an ADDTIONAL ONE but, NOTHING comes with it AT ALL just chicken tenders and wings and fries NO SAUCE (NONE AT ALL). ok the POOR SERVICE doesn’t STOP there the appetizer I ordered I didn’t get until we were about to leave so I had to box it up with the rest of my food. So no I will not be patronizing this particular JR CRICKETS AGAIN. And to make matters even worst the SAME PRINTED OUT GROUPON THAT I COULDN’T USE EARLIER THE WAITRESS ASKED FOR IT AT THE END OF THE SERVICE. (HOW COULD YOU BE SO IGNORANT I OFFERED YOU THE PRINT OUT EARLIER) If I could give a NEGATIVE STAR I WOULD… THERES NOTHING THAT COULD DESCRIBE THE WAY IT FEELS TO SPEND YOUR MONEY IN AN ESTABLISHMENT THATS RAN IN SUCH A WAY AS THIS ONE IS AND MY TAB CAME UP TO $ 62 NEVER AGAIN…

This experience was the worst by far. The waiter was very dry and inattentive. The food tasted like burnt motor oil. On top of everything, how are you gonna charge me more money because I spent 40 dollars. He did not deserve any tip what so ever. The bathroom had blood all over the toilet and door. Never eat there my roommate has vomited twice since we’ve gotten home!

This place was alright. This is the 2^nd JR crickets that I’ve been to. My waitress Trish was very cool. Took care of me and had a pleasant attitude. I ordered a sweet tea and a catfish nuggets appetizer which I was pleasantly shocked at the portion given for only $ 7.99! It was seasoned just right too. Wasn’t too much and it wasn’t too little. Didn’t have a fishy smell either even though I am eating fish! Lol! They had free wifi which was a plus. The bathrooms could use some TLC but were decent as far as cleanliness for this to be a restaurant/bar…alcohol usually means a lot of of horrible target practice in the men’s restroom wherever you go! Overall, it was very chill and even hilarious watching old school dudes run game on the silly young chicks looking for a sugar daddy… both playing «the game» with one another. Lol Lots of intoxicated socializing going on. (You know, speaking as if the person was in the other room and being close enough to their face to feel their breath touch yours?) yeah lots of that going on! Haha Anyway, I couldn’t finish the nuggets. Received a nice box with their logo on it. I’m out! Deuces.

Slow service and the wings are just too small. the wings are fried crisp, but too dry for me. They look like pigeon wings. If you like real small chicken wings you might like it.

Raggedy. Save yourself A LOT of time. Go somewhere you can enjoy yourself. I’m black but it’s too ghetto for my taste (yes mf I said it) …We were greeted at the door, sat down. Didn’t realize there were Servers b/​c we sat for over 10 minutes without anyone approaching, so we got drinks from the bar. Eventually we asked the bartender to find the server, she got around to us… eventually.
Took our order. Brought the food. Asked if we «need anything else?» & disappeared.. .
Basic service for a basic establishment. We ordered fried mushrooms (super gross), catfish nuggets (ok/​bland/​edible), and hotwings (they charge extra for any sauce that’s not Buffalo sauce)…0.59 cents extra for lemon pepper seasoning.
This place isn’t that big idk how we weren’t seen after we were seated. Overall, food was: eh. drinks were: ok. service: a helllll no. Overall: no bueno. I won’t be back just because I hate shitty service and on top of that I can get wings anywhere. better wings AND better service, somewhere else.

Probably the most terrible wings I’ve had in my life! I had the lemon pepper flavor… all the cook does is drown them in lemon pepper salt! And they were dry, and half the size of regular wings!!! They should call’em lemon heart attacks!
The waiters from Guyana was nice though… But not nice enough for me to go back! Hehehe

Great Food, but only one waitress on a Friday after work. Hmmmm… not!

I don’t normally give 1 stars for any review, but let me just say a girl was sorely disappointed with the food quality here. My wings were so dry and bland-​tasting (got the Teriyaki flavor) I couldn’t believe I paid for that! As much as I’ve heard about their «famous» wings, I just knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. Didn’t bother to check my order until I was halfway home and I live on the Northside (was visiting a friend in the SWATS). The fries, OMG, are you kidding me!!! Dried out and tasted old. I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon. I like my wings juicy and slightly crispy. No thanks J R Crickets… no thanks.

BBQ wings were so good I came here 2 nights in a row! First night got BBQ and mild.Great. Second night got BBQ only, but they didn’t taste the same :(. If you go there on the right night, then you will love it!

Horrible and rude waitress. Made a homophobic remark towards me and my friend. Never will go back. Beyond offensive and left. Stood and tried to order takeout at the bar.

There is NO FOOD OVER HERE on Fulton Industrial Blvd. I work around the corner and its slim pickens. For lunch. Gladly there is this JR crickets. I had some wings and a grilled Tilapia sandwich for lunch. Winner. I’ll go back and try lots of stuff. Because I enjoy the opposite of a light lunch some days.

Well, I’ve been here twice after living ½ mile from the place for a year now, and it’s time for a review! The proximity to my home gives it an extra star, right off the bat. There’s not many places like this nearby.
I love their wings. Love, love, love. They are very crispy and spicy. Their fries are terrible. They are undercooked, flavorless things that only taste good when you get the cheese sauce smothered all over them.
Recently went there to watch a Falcons away game. This is a Falcons bar, which makes it really fun to root on your team with a bunch of strangers. The place was packed and parking was a little strange. We almost got our car stuck in the mud in the adjacent parking lot because some a-​hole blocked us in. FYI, you can park at the bank next door when they are closed. We learned that later. Service was unbearably slow, and had we not been there for the game, we might’ve left. The waitress did bring us drinks as quickly as she could and kept apologizing for the hour+ wait for our food, but when all was said and done they could’ve sold us more drinks if the service had picked it up a bit.
They had a DJ there playing music during the commercial breaks which was pretty fun. I have to say, Cascade Heights knows how to party! We will definitely be back for drinks, wings (NOT fries), and a fun atmosphere close to home!

I went there during lunch with my partner and mother in law. It took a long time to get our food even though there were only a few other clients in the building. The waitress seemed over worked but still was courteous. The food on the other hand makes me question the conditions of that kitchen… the night after we ate there my partner was turned over, sick to her stomach. As for me, I also got sick and got a bacterial infection that almost caused an ulcer… will I eat there again? NEVER! Please make sure to ask any establishment you dine in what their grade is and who the cook is… I learned the hard way at this restaurant.

«Chicken is chicken, but the wing is the thing;» that phrase use to mean something to me 13 years ago when I still ate the yard bird. Now, it just signifies a place in my neighborhood where I can get cheap beer and be assured to see ‘sports that matter’ on the screen. Service is just okay and the food is… well, it’s Crickets. But, the pours are heavy and ya’ know what you’re gettin’…it never changes.
Oh yeah, they have free wifi!
