J Buffalo Wings

It’s a good wing and fish shop for lunch. Big plate if you dine in. Many different things on the menu but I just go for the basics. Affordable prices if you have kids in tow. Pool tables, beer and a couple TVs if you’re into that.
It’s like a carry-​out but with lots of tables so service is basically ordering, paying for food then sitting somewhere. It may be different at busier times when they need tables to turn over but I have only been there in early afternoon.
It’s on busy Buford Highway but it’s within a shopping center that has safer, traffic controlled entrance/​exit.

This place is under rated and I’m not sure why. Some of the best buffalo wings around — Not overly sauced like most places and great buffalo flavor.
They have an unusual wing and fried rice combo that is a fantastic deal. The fried rice is surprisingly good!
This is my go-​to take out place. Good to eat in if you want to watch some sports or play a game of pool.

These fools will steal your CC#, double charge and STILL act like u are in the wrong… music is horribly loud like at a Mexican Night Club, Girls aat the desk are rude, no CS at all, food isn’t even all that to begin with… do not come here, u not might as well gobto American Deli

very poor customer service. dont expect to much you will be dissatisfied. if your going to visit j buffalo try the one off sugarloaf or dunwoody. IT GOT SO BAD I HAD TO LET MY FOOD GO TO WASTE.

I think their food is pretty good. We used to order from here all the time, but the new front end staff make me not want to order from here anymore. One time, I tried to cancel one item from an order, but they would not allow me to. So, I had to cancel the whole order instead. Another time I placed an order over the phone, but when I got there I saw that they got the order wrong. When I told the girl it was wrong, she clearly didn’t care. Talk about bad customer service! I won’t be ordering from this location anymore!

The owner is an idiot and doesn’t believe in customer service. It took calling the police 2x and my issue still isn’t resolved.
The food is inconsistent and so are the hired waitresses.

Gray wings and fried rice, great prices and good drinks, will deff be going back for more. This is a very traditional Mexican restaurant so if you go be prepared for that.

Not a fan of the service, whether dining in or taking out. My last visit here, I had to repeat myself several times, because the person taking my order didn’t understand what I was asking for, despite me staring directly at it on the menu
The wings are okay, nothing to go crazy about, but I do enjoy their fried rice.
Music’s too loud, as well.

Man i should have went by the reviews but someone highly recommended them and said it was the same as the location on Beaver ruin in the Kroger shopping center but… NOPE –_​– Im seriously going to ask him for a refund of my ~$ 9 for recommending them.
The exterior and interior look kinda like a dingy sports bar. Like there’s bayou directly under the floors cos it looks so dirty. That should have been my 1^st red flag but nope! I continued.
I bit into the first wing and took a huge chunk and the inner part was RED with blood and seemed barely cooked!!! I thought to myself…“hey they missed this one!!”. This gotta be a fluke. I bit into the 2^nd, then the 3^rd with the same issue. Then it occured to me that i was eating barely cooked wings! Disgusting! I threw up in my mouth… seriously. I couldnt even eat the rice.
I was so mad!!! Dont be silly like me and read these reviews this place needs to be shut down ughhhh

Serious concerns of their cleanliness. Fruitfly, Regular Fly and some moth looking thing was flying around.
The food was OK, wings were a little dry even with the sauce on them.
There were extra charges for sauce and lettuce/​tomatoe on sandwiches, extra sauce. Stuff like that
Overall they need a good olé inspection and maybe some employees/​management that are concerned more with overall cleanliness. I wasnt looking for gourmet, but im just sayin.

Don’t eat here. If a place says No Refunds, than they are serving bad food. It’s obvious.
I got my order ‘to go’ and when I got home, the wings were terrible. Not fresh at all. They were rubbery and stringy.
I tried to look for the health score, and it wasn’t posted. I’m contacting the health dept immediately. It’d be a shame if other people got sick from eating this disgusting garbage.
The staff was friendly, they know their food sucks. They weren’t surprised that I came back to complain. They offered to get me something else, but I don’t trust the kitchen to make things correctly. So I just left. And Y’all should too.

I can’t really comment on the food since we never got any. We decide to try a new place and were in the area. There was one other table with people around 7pm on a weeknight. The waitress, who couldn’t be be bothered, couldn’t explain anything about the food. It appeared as if she had never seen it. We ordered and waited, and waited, and waited. For 30 minutes! After about 15 minutes we inquired with the waitress and she said it was just going to be a minute. But after another 15 minutes we decided to just get up and go. The kitchen didn’t even look like they had started our food.
STAY AWAY from this place.

Words you dread hearing in the office around lunch time.
We are going to order from a new place.
One of the co-​workers brought to my attention a post about their 74 food service score so we were a little standoffish in ordering from here, so we starting doing some investigation. Personally, Im one of those people that if the major violations were something related to pots being in the sink or a back door being left open, I’m able to over look that instead of meat not being chilled properly and there being no hot water on the premise or feces of some sort lying around.
We couldn’t find anything else on line, so we called in to the DeKalb Health Department and was advised that on their re-​inspection they scored an 81. The agent, said that she couldn’t give the violations over the phone and I would have to wait a couple of weeks for it to be posted on the site.
We all order and I thought $ 9 kinda pricy for 10 wings and fried rice, but this location is so close to Buckhead, I’m sure thats not overly priced.
What I have to admit to is that their fried rice is the BEST I EVER HAD!!! I only eat blue cheese dressing, no ranch, and I normally slather so much duck sauce and spicy mustard on fried rice, but the person that picked up our orders, only got ranch dressing
and no duck sauce or mustard, so I ate it all plain, w/​out condiments… and still was the best fried rice ever.
Also tried someones in the office hush-​puppies. Makes me wanna go back and try their fish.
I think we found a new wing place to order from. Everyone seems happy with their meal.

I just left this restuarant locate at 3373 Buford Hwy next to Shell Gas Station across the streets from QT gas station the business number 404.486.8310. The food maybe good BUT this was about my 4^th time eating there, and today I notice that there was NO food SCORE displayed. I called the shift mgr over to the table and questioned her about the score, she said the owner took it down (RED FLAG)! I asked her WHY she said she didn’t know WHY (FALSE)!! I called Atlanta Food Dept at 404.508.7990 and the SCORE is (74) YES I SAID (74). Of course I had to leave I told the shift mgr. that I was going to write a review and blog them, because she KNEW well WHY the score was REMOVE! Then I was NOT lead to leave a TIP, only because she LIED! There are several CDC employees who go to this restuarant and eat or just place a take out order. There is always a chance that bad food could make them sick, and they work with centative chemicals daily. Having food poison in your system is horrible and painful too. Now we all can help them get their SCORE at 100 by NOT buying J Buffalo Wings until whatever is going on PASS. Hold them responsible, and either they will get a better score or they will CLOSE the doors and LOOSE money, it’s just that SIMPLE!

Refreshingly familiar! Sports-​bar-​in the-​making vibe. Catfish & shrimp fried rice were well seasoned, fresh & tasty. Peach tea to boot!

This placed just opened on Friday March 1^st. New spot on Buford Highway across the street from QT. I went to try out the wings recently to simply get a glimpse of the taste and I must say they were deelish. Nice, crispy and the lemon pepper flavor was on point. You can say its another version of American deli, very similar menus. Overall the taste of the wings here were great. Plus they have a nice size to them. Looking forward to coming here and trying many more things off their menu. You must give this place a try.

This franchise just opened today. Its located on Buford Hwy, near NE Plaza, across from the QT. The place is nice and clean inside, considering is was an eyesore before. The menus are on flat panels which looks really up to date. Also, in the dining room, there 3 –55″ Plasma TV’s to watch sports.
I ordered a combo of lemon pepper wings and a gyro and fries for $ 9.99. Not a bad deal. The food was really good considering first day jitters.
I look forward to trying other items, and have a beer and watching the Braves at this new spot in Brookhaven.
