Lukewarm wings & catfish(although well seasoned), a waitress who claims to have forgotten about our table, and watery flavorless rum punch = I more than likely will not return. Also the music is very loud. But at least the mild sauce is decent I g.

They had a great environment. After 10 is when the party starts with the live dj. The chicken wings are great and if you love sports music and food this is the place to be

Had to order carry out… and If the waitress woulda checked my order as much as she was checking to make sure her boobs were out enough, I would got my mild sauce on my wings and fries and on the side.(Mild sauce is everything on the fried and wings) Got home 10 minutes later to cold fries,(omg the mild sauce would have added some kinda life to those old ass fries) and hot coleslaw,(got it backwards people) and a greasy ass piece of smashed white bread! First time I went 7 months ago I took a bite and closed my eyes and the chicken took me to Chicago! But when I opened my eyes I got some waitresses ass bent over dam near sitting in my plate! Dam near all the reviews Google are bad and I’m one of the people that won’t return back to Atlanta’s Harolds Chicken… and it steams from the customer service. Owners of #haroldschicken #Atlanta are you all not reading social media sites and understanding whats being said? Make that decision and fire some ass! Need to call #barrescue

So decided to come to Harold’sChicken N IceBar for lunch. The worst experience ever. Order a margarita and it was watered down with orange juice. The bartender service was terrible. She the food off to us and we had to find her to pay the check. If this was my favorite spot I would never come back. Best time to go is in the evening when Wayne is working.

As a Native Chicagoan it pains me to say this but… It’s actually better than the Harolds in Chicago! Georgia already fries the best chicken and they combined it with mild sauce !! I used to love(according to google maps) .3 miles away from a Harolds in Chicago. If it was as good as this one I would’ve needed someone to roll me there everyday. Anyways, the con is that for a small place they blast the music like it is a club. Then since they play music like its a club there’s people trying to dance in the limited space. Though there is Alcohol. So that balances it all.

Great service. Two of us didn’t get our food with everyone else at our table and our server immediately gave us refills on our drinks before we could even inquire about it. The drinks were awesome and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. We are from Chicago and those that ordered the chicken said it was good, a little crunchier, but good. We really enjoy the variety of the menu in comparison to Chicago Harold’s. The catfish and the fries green beans were very good. The only suggestion we have is to remove the bars from the windows. The other bars/restaurants on the block seem very nice and they don’t have security bars. It’s didn’t turn us away, and I am glad it didn’t, but it may turn some people off. It is a little misleading in comparison to the inside.

Absolutely out of this world Husband and I were in town visiting a friend. He recommended we try Harold’s so we did.(I recommend making it in for lunch if you are able to even though the dinner prices are not unreasonable) My husband ordered chicken and waffles(tasty!) he thought it was some of the best chicken and waffles he’s had :) I ordered the whiting and chicken and my oh my was it great. Fish cook to perfection and chicken was as good. We also shared some onion rings and Mac and cheese bites. Beyond yum The chicken was so delicious we ordered a huge tray for dinner for our friends :) The only down side is the neighborhood it’s a bit sketchy but that doesn’t take away anything from the wonders you will taste :) Staff are super friendly and great!

The chicken and fish was seasoned perfectly. The hot sauce was good but not amazing. I had the 50 Shades of Green cocktail which was tasty. The décor could use some updating. The art is nice but the tables need work.

More than finger licking good! Smack dab in the hood and down the block or so from MLK this is a must go spot! The staff is friendly, and the Art on the walls is always interesting. The wings and the whiting is delicious, taste fresh and comes so pipping hot your fingers and lips sizzle, so you know it’s fresh out the fryer! I go every time I’m in the area, I’m still fairly new to ATL but I’ve already ate here about 5 times. A must try if your in the mood for some good deep fried Goodness.

Strangely I celebrate my birthday for an entire week each year, so this was one of the spots my Hunni brought me to on our third night of celebrating, we originally planned to go to BQE but they were packed so we ended up coming here. Nice little crowd, great music and good hot food. I ordered only 2 drinks, but at $ 12 a drink, that was truly all I needed. Our waitress was extremely nice, she checked on us often. The restaurant was as clean as to be expected with all of the traffic going in and out. This is actually the best chicken I’ve had in a while, the Cole slaw was popping and the fries was hot and good. I can clearly see why this place received high rating for its fried chicken. The next time I will try the fish and the hot wings. We visited a few other places on Edgewood, I think I’ve found my new kick it spot.

Unfortunately this is another establishment that came to Atlanta and everyone I’ve spoken to says is nothing like the original. I waited to visit after the initial hype had died down and hoped for a good experience. What I got was lousy service, cramped tables, and unseasoned fish and chicken I had to share with the plethora of flies swarming around the tables. I even noticed people placing to go orders waited around the same time as those dining inside, maybe longer. As far as the parking of you can’t find a street parking spot keep driving. If you call and they tell you to park at the carwash or nonis parking lot just know you will be booted and no one will take responsibility.

A friend and I stopped by Harold’s because we were less than ten mins away and we both heard good things. The food I would give a 3.75. It’s a chicken/fish restaurant, so I ordered the whiting and wings combo and a sweet tea. I’m not sure if our orders were mixed up, but we ended up getting our food before other tables that placed orders before we did. The chicken and fish were fresh, the wings were a little on the salty side, but the tea was sweetened just how I(a Georgia Peach) liked it. The paintings on the walls were beautiful and it seemed like everyone was having a good time. I couldn’t eat all of my food, so the server brought bags to pack up the rest. I mentioned to my friend that I could see myself coming back. This rating is a 1 because of the parking. Before we even turned off the car, we called ahead and asked where should we park. There was a car wash that was still busy when we arrived and a lot behind it. The woman who answered the phone said, «at the Noni’s parking lot.» My friend and I were surprised, and wondered if they had an agreement with Noni’s, but we figured if they did, it wasn’t our business. We came back to the car, toting our to go baskets, to a bright yellow boot. The woman who booted the car signaled for us to approach and said«the boot is $ 75.» We explained the conversation we had with the phone attendant, to which she replied, «oh they would never say that.» When I tried to call Harold’s to speak with someone in management, the same attendant said there was nothing the owner could do. I’m big on customer service(I’ve worked in some aspect of the field for over a decade) and this situation was handled less than poorly. I went to speak with owner and she even questioned her staff about where they tell people to park. One young woman said the Jamaican restaurant and one said the car wash. I still dont know where the official place to park is. If the staff knows that cars will be booted, they should post a sign in the doorway so their patrons will not have this problem. I counted at least 15 cars that had boots, so this couldn’t be a coincidence. I stand by the 1 rating and I wouldn’t suggest going to this establishment. Our meal wasn’t worth the $ 120 we ended up having to pay overall.

The chicken and shrimp was on point. The waitress was cool and made some good recommendations on how we could save a little bit of money since we were ordering so much food. This spot is definitely in my top 3 chicken joints in this city. Don’t take my word for it, try it!

Went here for lunch with coworkers today, and have to say it was pretty good. Two of us had the wings and fry baskets, and another friend had wings and fish. Everything was recommended, especially the mac & cheese bites we had for an appetizer. Only gets 4 stars because the service wasn’t good. Not a great place for lunch during the work day, unless you’re trying to get away from the office for an hour or more. Friendly staff, great music, just fairly slow. Other than that, no complaints.

A bar that serves fried chicken, what’s not to love? Chicken is fresh, tasty, juicy and fully cooked. Breading is just right. Curly fries are crispy. Whole wings are huge. Service is amazing. Everything on the menu looks delicious so don’t get carried away and don’t hesitate to ask for a doggy bag.

Truthfully, this place deserves 4.5 stars. I took off .5, mainly due to the interpersonal tension between a manager/supervisor and a bar staff. Otherwise, the atmosphere was urban sheek, with beautiful sounds of R&B and people conversing! There are several flat screens for your enjoyment. We decided to sit at the bar, but it seems like we came in around shift change. It was still a smooth transition. Ashley immediately came in and provided us with menus. We ordered a Windy City(not exact, but close) and a Ciroc lemonade! Both were excellent! Then we ordered wings & shrimp and a wings catfish! They both were delicious! As soon as we were almost done, was the time the supervisor walked in and the mood totally changed! Other than that, the food, drinks, and atmosphere was great. I have already recommended this spot to a few others!

Omg what is this place. And why have I just discovered it? After a long night in East Atlanta Village, we were HANGRY and needed something to fix our hangry feelings. I had been looking forward to visiting Delia’s Chicken Stand all night but we all agreed that the walk back to the car and driving the 1 mile there just didn’t sound efficient. We wanted food NOW. We walked in around 1:45 am and were greeted by some bumping music from the DJ in the back of the restaurant. We tried to find a secluded table, but don’t bet on it. We ended up at one of two empty tables, as the place was pretty busy. A server came to us shortly after, which was unexpected, as we thought we wouldn’t be noticed. And that was a dumb assumption on my part, being as we were literally the only non-African Americans in the entire establishment. A nice fellow came up to us and offered to pay our entire first round of drinks. Like I said, we thought we wouldn’t be noticed but it seemed like we had garnered some attention from the regulars. We avoided the drink menu until our server asked what we wanted as our first free round and realized James, the nice fellow, was serious. We ordered a round of «Damn Good» cocktails, per the recommendation of our server. And they were pretty damn good, a sweet artificially flavored fruity vodka cocktail but with real strawberries. We then ordered a 8 piece mixed fried chicken basket, fried okra, and a small fried gizzards dinner, which came with a side of French fries. And never, ever have I eaten a better piece of fried chicken. They were blazing hot and burned the tips of my fingers on the juicy meat but I didn’t care. You know fried chicken is cooked perfectly if the breast meat is juicy, too. I hate white meat but there was no hating on this white breast. The fried okra was good, especially when dipped in one of the two hot sauces provided to us. One was mild and one was spicy. I couldn’t really pinpoint which one I preferred so I just switched off between the two. The gizzards were so good, I just wish there were more. The fries were alright, wish they had a bit more seasoning to them. Everything came out hot, fresh and fragrantly fried. The best meal I’ve ever had at 2AM, hands down.
