Hady and Yatou Hair Braiding

This place is a hidden gem! I went here on 12÷29÷15 to get my Cardi B inspired braids and they did a great job and only took 2.5 hours to do it. Their prices are reasonable and I will be coming back to get more braids. One tip of advice, I recommend asking the price before they get started or before you go so there’s no confusion.

Went there desperate to get back to cornrows. I called and got an appointment for the very next day at 10 a.m. After washing and thoroughly conditioning my hair, I went there. It’s bigger then it looks from the street. Open and roomy.
Hady did my hair and she worked fast! My cornrows are sweet. She did a small (not over the top) design on the front and a medium length for $ 85. It’s been a couple of days and my hair looks like I just walked out of the salon.
But, you will want to prepare yourself. Bring a fully charged phone, headphones or book. These women can talk and they are loud. Also, the store needs a thorough cleaning. The counters, floor, and cabinets look like they haven’t been cleaned in a while. But the ladies working there were clean and will kept.

I’ve been coming to this hair braiding salon for the past 3 years! The staff is super nice! They specialize in just about every braid there is! They are open 7 days a week and you get $ 10 off with the business card Sun-​Wed! If you tell them, «please don’t do it tight,» like most Africans do, they honor that request. I was able to put my hair in a pony tail walking out of the shop last time when they did my jumbo Marley twists. I haven’t found another braiding shop with better staff or prices.
