This burger joint was pretty damn good! There is a small dine in area if you want to sit there but there are tables throughout the ponce market. I love the atmosphere it’s very hipster and cool! The cheese burger I got only came with onions and pickles… I had to add lettuce and tomatoes for an extra charge(which was 50cents each). The burger was very filling and sooooooo good! However the price was kind of high. For my burger(plus extra toppings), fries, and coke I paid about $ 19, which was kinda a lot for a burger. However once in a while I don’t mind splurging on great food and atmosphere.

The burger here was good but not great. The price is way too high for the thin layer of beef patty you get, and each vegetables cost extra if you order anything that is not already stated in the menu(which are onions and pickles). The fries were good but they don’t give you much so again the amount of food is very small compared to the price. I don’t think I’ll be going back here again.

Burger was A-OK; as the three star rating states. I would eat here again if I wanted to take a break from Ponce. We shared fries and a milk shake and then got back to it! Really cool décor and service was quick and polite.

You can find H&F Burger at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta 30308 in Ponce City Market on the lower level — what the call the«food court» but it’s much more than that. Parking basically sucks at PCM — it’s almost better to park elsewhere and walk to the location as the underground deck is tight, difficult to manage and a bit of an afterthought. I’ll start off by saying that I love, love Holeman and Finch at their original location on Peachtree St in Brookwood. It’s a really amazing place and the food there is very special — even the bartenders are special, the modernist wood interior, the racking and fixtures, all amazing and incredibly well done. While this location of H&F(Holeman & Finch) Burger is interesting and well done, it doesn’t shine a candle to the original. The interior and fixtures are more pub-ish and mainstream, I just would have thought more effort would have been brought to the table when compared to the original location. Oh well — perhaps this is more a reflection of the Stadium or an effort to reach the plebeian masses, if so I’m not quite sure why they’re in PCM — it seems a bit of a sham. Regardless of the esthetic, H&F Burger is really about the food, and in particular the famous double cheese burger and I’m happy to say that it’s quite as good as what you would receive in the original location. However I’m unhappy to say that you might want to go somewhere else for a burger if $ 12 seems a lot to pay — that’s right, $ 12 for just the burger, forget about the fries. If this seems rather exorbitant, than I’m with you — it seemed even more pricey considering the take-out to be shared with friends upstairs. I also don’t believe waiting in line for 30 minutes for take-out is very cool, but I’ll concede that it’s a new place, it was a weekend and there were massive crowds. Before you get all nasty at me for being cheap, etc. I must say that I am cheap, etc. I like a bargain much like anyone else, in fact many of the restaurants I visit are as much for the quantity of food and inexpensive price than for the quality of the food(in other words, I reduce my expectations on cheaper food but still seek the best bargain for the best food). It’s just my opinion, but for $ 12 you would think that the burger included fries, chips or some inexpensive side. Nope, just a «Thank you» for overpaying for ground beef. So to summarize, the burger tastes awesome, but the wait and cost remove any reason for me to revisit. Due to this, I’m giving this a neutral 3⁄5 stars. (also posted to my food blog)

H&F makes a darn good burger. For everyone who was disappointed because of the all the«hype» — well, H&F is still pretty freaking good. Compared to the Bocado burger, the meat doesn’t have the same flavor kick, but the cheesiness of H&F is the winner here. Those fries help with the 5 stars too.

If you have not been here yet, you are missing out! Freaking delicious but is it worth $ 17? I think so!!! I always order my burger with avocado, bacon, cheese, and a fried egg & dip it into their homemade ketchup & mustard. The quality of their meat is one of the best I’ve had. It is like a bite of heaven. & don’t forget to order the black & white milkshake. OR you will regret it!

I like this place. I really like it. I’m only giving it four stars instead of five because seating is extremely limited. If you can’t find seating, you’ll have to order at the register, and the line can get really long. Then, if PCM is packed, you’ll have to scout out some seats. Crowding aside, here’s the deal: I got a jr. size cheeseburger with the pickles on the side. I usually don’t like pickles on my burger, but I was told these were specially made pickles by H&F. Oh my goodness. They were good. I didn’t even put them on my burgher. I just ate them straight out of the little cup. They’re bread and butter pickles, and they sell them in the jar in case you really need to get your fix. Another home made thing at H&F? Their ketchup. That’s amazing, too, and they also sell that in a jar. My friend and I were lucky enough to get seats at the bar, and our waiter was very kind and helpful. Love this place. Will definitely go back… if there isn’t too much of a line.

I’m going to have to concur with the consensus of reviews here. It was a pretty good burger, but $ 12 for it on its own? Not feeling it. Like many expansion restaurants, H&F Burger has lost the essence of the original. While I do like the concept of focusing on and cranking out large quantities of the burgers that Holeman & Fitch is famous for, it doesn’t measure up — especially at the exorbitant price.

Yeah, I heard the hype on this burger so when I took my daughter to partake of this legend I was ready to be wowed. Confirmation bias was in full force but with a daughter skeptical of her dad knowing anything worthwhile. So we spent the 30 odd on two with fries and drinks. Then we waited… and waited… and waited. Dad is obviously clueless because there is no way you spend 30 something on a burger meal and wait 45 min ATTHETAKEOUT. Finally we got our meal after comisserating with our fellows on hold for just fries that also took 45 min. Dude are you waiting to grow the damn potatoes? We sat down to eat. Guess what? Dad was actually right about something. The burger really is that good. Perfect in every way. She said«ok so it was pretty good». I’ll take that as a win thank you. Bottom line. Your food can be stupid expensive and good I’ll pay it but if I have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for it no go. Cheap and good. OK I’ll wait. Can’t have it both ways. Three stars that woulda been 5 since my daughter ended up only mildly annoyed with me.

Went to the PCM with my husband today and our plan was to try food from 2 places an share them. After the disaster of a sandwich at the Mediterranean place, we wanted to be sure we picked a sure win as the other half of our meal. After walking around a bit we decided to try a burger from H&F. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries, both were delicious. We will definitely come back here again.

I have to say this place and Hop’s Chicken next door are the most frustrating places I have ever eaten at. I have gone to both and sometimes the service is fine and the food is AMAZING and sometimes I have gone and the service was TERRIBLE and the food was average at best. My latest trip was the latter unfortunately. The burger just was not good. Its like the cook forgot to season the patty or something. And the burger was too well done it was too dry. I have finally decided I am not going back unless I am with friends. Whoever the GM of this place is he needs to keep a closer eye at the cooks or something because they clearly only follow directions and recipes when they feel like it. There is NOTHING worst than inconsistency on service and food. For those of you that know me that is the only time I give 1 star is if there is inconsistency with the food or if there is bad service. I’m done gambling when I go here hoping the good cooks are on shift. I will not be back unless my friends drag me here.

The burger is pretty good. Don’t get me wrong. I liked this burger. What’s the problem? It’s $ 12 for a single cheese burger. The original, infamous 10PM burger at H&F was about $ 10 with fries. The burger tasted better too. It also seemed bigger. The one here uses all the right ingredients. Their bun is amazing, since it’s the same H&F bun. Their pickles are great. Their cuts of meat is amazing. Their cheese is gooey and good. They even have their home-made ketchup and mustard if you eat at their bar. With all the right ingredients, it makes a good cheeseburger. But it did have some problems. The meat was cooked medium-well to well done. It was dry as a hockey puck. I feel they smashed the juices out too. The meat needed to be seasoned more too. Also, like I mentioned, it was expensive for what it was. It’s too bad they’re expensive, or this would be a decent place to go at PCM. But I don’t know. It’s just too expensive for a single cheese burger with no fries. I would rather go to the real place, order some cocktails and offals and enjoy it there.

Yes, I too am now a fan. No photos necessary as I already see too many burger pics uploaded. mine looked the same… LOL The burger was fresh, tasty and cooked to order as I requested. No pink center on burger meat for me, only steak. The fries were kinda meh’… the drinks are very limited, the lemonade is not fresh squeezed but the Arnold Palmer was ok. The staff is friendly and there is usually a line but not a long one… Condiments are on the side and I do not like their ketchup, too thin and sweet… The burgers are basic and simple. The prices, well? I think perhaps $ 10 would suffice. Everything is ala’cart. I love Ponce City Market and I love that I now don’t have to wait until a specific time to get this burger. Will I return? Yes I will and turn a few friends onto H&F also. There is not a lot to say, its a burger and fry joint!

Absolutely delicious! Nothing else left to say besides the burgers are worth the wait and lives up to its hype. I’ve been hearing a lot about their burgers, so I was expecting a lot from this trip. We tried the hot dog(accidental order), but really enjoyed the buttery bread it came with. We also had the cheeseburger with avocado and fried egg(they sadly ran out of bacon) and a side of fries. Even their ketchup was different and tasty. Would definitely come back just for the burger!

First let me get this out of the way: this IS the Holeman & Finch burger of legend, and it’s special and umami-laden and absolutely worth the trip. The bun is just right, a soft shell that surprisingly stands up to the heavy-but-tender double patty. The cheese, crisp onions, and housemade ketchup & mustard are revelatory. This ain’t your everyday burger. I can eat like this once every couple of months, tops. Split the fries, which are delicious, since the burger will make you not hungry for a day and a half. Lemonade, Mexican Coke, or a well-edited beer list strike all the right notes. But at times H&F Burger is a victim of its own success, unable to keep pace with the hungry horde eyeing for a skinny slice of table. They need a system, and it needs to be consistent. Same with the closing times, which have seemed a bit arbitrary on occasion – we’ve shown up an hour before night’s end to see them pouring out the drink fountains and reluctant to seat us. Some of the servers are incredibly nice and attentive, guys/gals you want to have a beer with. Others can’t be bothered to bring what you asked for, which is more rare but surprising. They share s prep area and ownership with next-door Hop’s Chicken, and of the two, this is the stronger offering at the moment – a welcome anchor to the fledgling food hall at PCM. As they work out the few kinks, here’s to the magic of those 24 original late night patties that got them in this business.

I personally enjoy the fact that you can walk up to the to go window and order the famous burger quickly. Yea, the line situation is a cluster but it is to be expected around that area with such a popular H+F spot. The burger was top notch and tasted just like when I used to wait past 10pm for the release at their original spot. My wife was very pleased especially going into trying this famous burger(she always is a debt downer, but loved the 50 – 50 Patty). Definitely a spot I will keep going to inside PMC.

I recently had my first experience here at at the Ponce City Market location of Holeman and Finch. You have to pay to park there, which I suppose is normal for atlanta. It’s just not something I am used to living OTP. Upon arriving at H&F inside, there was a decent sized line, and after ordering with the cashier it takes about 10 minutes to get your food. I ordered a regular cheeseburger and added bacon and a friend egg, with a side of fries. The meal came with their original ketchup which I found to be good, as were the fries. The fries were very similar in taste to what you get at Five Guys. Good, but not my favorite. Now the burger, in my opinion didn’t live up to the hype. When you hear about a place renowned for their I burger I just expected more. There wasn’t anything bad about it but it wasn’t exceptional either. Still thought, this isn’t a bad way to spend $ 12 – 15.

The burger here was delish! It was a tad expensive, but worth a once in awhile food splurge. Since I have never had H&F Burger before, the bf and I shared the basic cheeseburger. $ 12 for a thing like this?! But oh so good. The bf agreed that the quality was on point even though this was like his 3rd time eating at H&F Burger(other locations). The meat was juicy and semi sweet. Everything else on it was fresh and delish. I was a tad disappointed that the menu selection didn’t offer more, but I suppose all good things are limited and shouldn’t be spoiled with too many options.

We went here Friday night for our date night. Its located inside the newly renovated Ponce City Market. Wait: 1 hour of dine-in, which is ridiculous for a burger joint. Service: very polite and there was a really sweet girl directing people to the dine-in line and takeout line to avoid any confusion. Food: We got the veggie burger and fries. It was all pretty standard, but my husband didn’t feel full off one burger and fries, so its not super filling. The buns are good, but overall its not much different from Yeah Burger or Shake Shack. Atmosphere: It might not be a great first date kind of place, its loud with lots of action and movement and hard to find seating. We felt like we had to yell to each other to talk. Overall, its nice and clean but not really worth the hassle.

If you have not tried a Food Hall you are missing out. We found this gem at Ponce City Market. This is no doubt one of the best burgers I have had in years… I mean in a very long time. Burgers infused with high quality grass fed beef. Menu is simple and had the traditional hamburgers and fries and hotdogs. But the traditional is taken to a different level as the quality is amazzzzzzing… The ambiance is trendy and fun. I would so visit this spot again while visiting Atlanta, Georgia. A must try at Food Hall located at Ponce City Market.

H&F has achieved the quality of a good fresh burger. The concept is very simple without a lot of extras; I admired they respect the fact that not everyone enjoys mayonnaise on a burger. The wait was a little long but the taste definitely made up for it. A tad on the pricey side depending on what you order, but overall H&F gets my approval for one of the«better» burger joints popping up around town!

Food $ 12 Burger. I’ve had this burger 3x now and it has never disappointed me. $ 12 is kind of expensive for a hamburger but this is worth it. In quality I think it beats out Shake Shack, The Vortex, The Gerneral Muir, and Farmburger. I like everthing about the cheese burger. I still prefer Farmburger because it’s almost half the price and a lot closer to me. I’m poor and lazy. Décor It’s in Ponce City Market. You might not get any place to sit but the redesign made this place look pretty. I’d much rater get it to go and eat it outdoors. Indoors can be packed and too noisy. Service Waiting in line about 5 min and then another 5 min to get my burger. Would I come here again? Yes. This is way more convenient then going to the actual restaurant for me.

I stood in line for nearly 30 minutes and it was worth it. I wanted the Cheeseburger and I got it. The pickles and buns are unmatched and the meat just melts. The only place that can hang with H&F in the city is Bocado. Both have mastered the idea of having a burger stack that creates 4 sides of seared flavor vs. 2 with a traditional burger. The other thing that really impressed me with this particular location was the service. Things were chaotic and I even made a modification to my order and they got everything out to everyone without a hitch. I like the option of the dine in or take it and go as well. People may complain about the price and yes $ 12 is much for a cheeseburger but considering that the fact that I’ve had many $ 7 – 10 burgers that were fair, H&F has nothing to apologize for in the pricing.

Such a large space for a tiny little menu. I got a veggie burger and fries. The veggie burger was ok. I liked the mushroom taste it had going on and the bun was fantastic. The fries were good, but not stand-out amazing. I’m in the minority on their homemade ketchup… I’m all kinds of meh. The food was close to being a 4, but add in prices($ 9 for the veggie burger) and I feel like a 3 more accurately sums up my feelings about H&F. –Better veggie burgers to be had at cheaper prices elsewhere.

The hype is real. The burger bar has been raised. Eating this might be better than cuddling with your puppy, after a long, stressful day at work. Definitely on par with the awesomeness that was the first Jurassic Park or Bloodsport. More satisfying than zooming by your trash-talking friend to win a Mario Kart(N64 version) duel on Rainbow Road. Maybe better than Prince’s pajama party I attended a few years ago. Maybe… ***** I. FOOD&DRINK The burger can come small or large and with or without cheese or pickles.(Get a large with both.) Fries are optional, but get those and dip them in the in-house ketchup and mustard. You can also pour the ketchup and mustard on your face and lick everything with your tongue, and I wouldn’t look at you weird. I would just totally understand. Regarding their drinks, they have a slew of local craft beers on tap.(Much love to Red Hare.) My biggest regret? Not stuffing my face with their milkshake. Anyways, about this burger… *Buns: Probably the best buns I’ve ever had on a burger. They’re pillow-y soft, have the ideal amount of butter, beautifully toasted, perfectly air-y, and ideally sized. *Patty: Incredibly juicy, not overpoweringly greasy, and deliciously cooked medium-rare to medium — absolutely wonderful. *Cheese: High quality American that’s melted all over the patty. It’s almost… poronographic. *Pickles: Subtly sweet house-made pickles that are nice additions to this classic burger. *Fries: Not too greasy, hand-cut sexiness. Like Power Rangers and their Zords, all of them combine to make pure awesomeness. Seriously, though, it’s one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. And you’ll love it, if you’re into classic burgers. Fries are great, too. Ketchup, mustard… $hit, everything is spectacular. II. SERVICE Much love to the brotha from Cleveland. He noticed that I was rocking a Minnesota Twins cap, and, of course, he is an Cleveland Indians fan.(Rare.) He’s also a Browns and Cavs fan, so I really feel for him. But the man is really cool, and he took great care of us that night. Thanks, hombre! The service couldn’t have been better. III. ATMOSPHERE/DÉCOR I forget the number of seats inside(I think 24, because there was only 24 burgers originally or something?), but it’s small up-scale«diner.» With that being said, I would viist there during non-peak hours, unless you really love to wait in long lines. IV. PRICES Maybe $ 13 or $ 14 for the burger and a few bucks for the fries? It might be pricey, but we’re talking about one of the best burgers ever. In life. Or the universe. Definitely in life, though. V. OVERALL One of the best burgers I’ll ever eat in my lifetime. This is Randy Moss, game changer, Hall Of Fame, GOAT status, yo. Also, if you find this review a bit difficult to read, it’s because I blacked-out thinking how amazing this burger was, and I’m having a Post-Traumatic Eating Stress right now. I might get a tattoo of this burger on my heel or something. But that’s not very manly.

The age old question of whether a burger can be as good as it is hyped to be was tested on my last trip to Atlanta. I am a firm believer that if someone rants and raves about how great a movie is, your experience is always subdued. But we are talking far more important things to life than movies… we are talking about the pattied perfection of a burger. And the answer to that age old burger questions is, yes. At Holeman and Finch it can be that good. The passion of the server we spoke to about the burger and what he was serving was quite apparent. They make a great burger and aren’t afraid to proclaim it. The bun is cooked to perfection. Light, airy, and buttery were great bookends to this beefy treat. The next key part to a great burger is the meat itself. The blend they have chosen for their patties have an amazing flavor and cooked in a way that retains all of those flavory juices. The cheese is high quality and melted to perfection. No frills(or need for them) beyond that. I didn’t event put their in house made ketchup or mustard because it was burger perfection just the way it was. They fries are hand cut and outstanding too. They were not too greasy and evenly salted to the right amount of flavor. This truly was a fantastic burger experience and will not be my last! The competition in the Atlanta food scene will bring up burger controversy for the best in town. But H&F stated a pretty strong case for them to take the top award.

Now that I’ve had this burger several times(the other times being at Turner Field), I feel it’s fair to just say… I don’t get it. It’s good, but it’s not OMGTHISISTHEBESTBURGERINTHISENTIRECITYWOWTAKEMYTWELVEBUCKSFORTHISTHINGOVERANDOVERAGAIN. Their instagram account liked my photo so I was taking a look through what they post… and it’s like… wow, this is like how people see photos of fast food burgers from the company and in reality it looks nothing like that. Maybe it’s because I took it «to go» and ate it upstairs, but even the fries didn’t look alike. If I’m spending almost $ 16 on food, it’s kinda different you know? I mean, it IS good, don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the hell out of their pickles and the buns are fantastic, you can taste that there is quality stuff going on here, but I’m consistently not wowed by this thing. I’m sure it’s because I shunned the initial hype for many years and now it’s dialed in because at any given time they can have lines of people at this stand. But to me, there are better burgers are this price point and I don’t have to go into a yuppie mall for them. It’s off the food bucket list and I can move on, haha.

Very impressed! Awesome burger! I think it is the best burger I’ve ever had. The fries are great also. Took both items home and reheated them and it still tasted great! The lemonade is delicious too, probably up there with the best non-flavored(i.e. strawberry, raspberry, etc.) lemonade I’ve ever had. The customer service was great, we had a sweet server. We thought it was going to be a hassle trying to find somewhere to sit but it wasn’t. We only waited about 5 minutes on a Saturday a little after noon. And the food comes out SUPER fast! Probably only took about 5 minutes. This trip definitely made up for the fact that I tried to go to their Peachtree location a few months prior. My friend stated they called and they said they were open, even after I checked Google and saw they were closed. Anywho, we went after they called, got there and guess what?! They were closed. We were disappointed because we were so excited about trying their burgers. I will definitely return! The menu at PCM is limited but I love the concept and think it was a great idea to place it here!

We loved the new location. The food was quite delicious. We had a great burger and fries. We ordered at the takeout window as we didn’t realize that there was a service restaurant. We sat at the restaurant and the waiter came right over. He was very friendly. The food was awesome. It was one of the best veggie burgers I have had, and the cheeseburger was delicious as well. Not only that, the fries were crispy and delicious. We also ordered a milkshake from the waiter when we were finished. I was pretty disappointed with it. We got the ‘black and white’ one. It tasted just like a regular chocolate milkshake. Overall the entire experience was good, but for the cost that we paid, I am not sure that we will be back. We paid over $ 55 for 3 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 beers. In addition to that, the milkshake was almost $ 10 with tax and tip… With parking, we ended up spending nearly $ 70 for some burgers and fries. Just a little too pricey for us.

I have yet to find the«perfect» burger so that’s the only reason for not giving it 5 stars. After trying Bocado’s burger, this review is going to settle it for me on which is the better burger — Bocado or H&F. I was lucky that they had opened a location at Ponce City Market. A few friends and I met up here and got to eat: H&F Burger with Fries: I didn’t actually order a side of fries, but I did taste one or two just so I could write about it. This burger actually comes with a house ketchup and mustard as well. PROS –very moist burger patties: this is key for me. If your meat is dry, there is no amount of cheese that can save it –less salt: also key. As my friend said, you can taste the flavor of the meat much better with this burger. –grilled onions! Vegetables! –very generous topping of cheese, but not quite as «melty» as that of Bocado so I was somewhat disappointed –house ketchup is pretty legit: it isn’t as sweet as Heinz. In fact, it has a bit more of a vinegar taste to it, resembling more of a barbecue sauce than anything else. I’m not a fan of mustard so I did not try that at all. –fries are not that bad either! They’re not shoestring but they have that good ratio of crispy outside and fluffy soft inside. CONS –no vegetables –more grilled onions. I only had maybe about 1⁄7 of an onion in my burger and it wasn’t evenly distributed. Really? That’s only about 2 bites of onion per burger. Onion is cheap! ARGH, it’s really hard for me to say which is a better burger. Truth be told, I had a bite of a burger at the Pinetree in Decatur and I think that is a better burger. However, in regards to the burger faceoff, I’d have to go with the fact that H&F does have the better meat patties in general. The cheese can be a little bit more liquified, but that ketchup really seals the deal. H&F for the win… for now :)

When you have created something so delicious, so mind boggling, you want to show it off to the world. You want to make sure that everyone has heard(and experienced) what you have made. In this particular instance, I am speaking of «the burger» created by Holeman & Finch, in Atlanta, GA. The legend had it, that every night at 10PM, they would specially make only 24 burgers to the lucky 24 people who ordered them– with a plate of fries, and mustard and ketchup. If that wasn’t your thing, you could wait up to 2 hours on a Sunday for brunch(which is what I always did) to start. The one thing about doing this, was that I always knew«the burger» would taste the same. Then I heard they branched out, and opened a burger stand at Turner Field. Never tried it, and I never will be inclined to try it(I am sure though it is better than typical ballpark fare). Then, I heard they opened an outpost at Ponce City Market. Since it is not located in a ballpark(also has more consistent hours to provide fresher ingredients), I would give it a shot. They have a to-go counter, as well as a seat yourself dining area. I would personally recommend dining in, to get a better experience. I mean, you just don’t go to Holeman & Finch to get a burger to go(they don’t allow it anyways), so why would you do it here? The menu is simple– a hot dog, a cheeseburger, a small burger, and shakes and sodas, beer and wine. Oh yea, and fries. I don’t know what beers and wines they have– maybe they have a separate menu. I stuck with water– and a cheeseburger, with fries. The food came fairly quickly. I tell you what, the flavors were just how I remembered– soft bread, invigorating onion and pickles(mind you, this is the ONLY burger I will EVER eat pickles and red onion on it), and gooey cheese. If the burger had only been pulled off the grill 20 seconds earlier, it would have tasted the exact same. That is the one thing I have an issue here with. You become famous because of your strict timing and protocol to create such a great burger, will get ruined the minute you start making them to order, not on YOUR time. Especially for a lot of people that have never tried it, this is the one chance you will have to prove to people how amazing your burger is– especially to justify a $ 12 price tag. If you don’t have your A-game cook on the grill, that image can get tarnished, quickly. Are they on the right track? I think so. But this place needs to have micro-managed quality control if they want to keep that image– or else it will just be another burger joint in Atlanta– which I don’t want it to end up being. It worked hard to have an amazing burger, they will need to work harder to provide that on a large scale.

I love everything about Linton Hopkins’ empire: Restaurant Eugene, Holeman & Finch, H&F Bottle Shop, the bakery… etc. H&F Burger still delivers the food you would expect, but for being a little more on the fast/casual side, it’s expensive. Pros: — Minimal menu: basically 3 burgers and 1 hot dog. You have to appreciate that a small menu means they do everything well. — Draft sodas! I had no idea that Midnight Brewing did a ginger soda, but they also serve Red Hare root beer. — If you’re there for full-service at the bar, you’ll appreciate the reclaimed woods, windows and lighting. — Mustard and ketchup are made especially by/for H&F Cons: — On Sunday noon, it does get busy, so it does take a while to get food — Kinda pricey I’ve had the H&F burger before on Peachtree, but since I wasn’t hungry enough to down one, I got the Mighty Jr($ 7) which is basically the same burger but with only one patty. My favorite thing is probably the pickles which are generous on the burger, and definitely sweet. The H&F burger itself is $ 12, which I can understand how people balk at the price. Keep in mind though, at H&F on Peachtree, a burger and fries is $ 14, so the prices are about the same. Fries are a la carte here at $ 2. The hotdog was pretty good too: signature H&F bun and the hotdog itself I also had the B&W Milkshake($ 6). I couldn’t really taste what made it black and white like I did at Shake Shack, so I probably wouldn’t get the shake again. Service-wise, I think you get better service at the bar. I honestly think it took more time to wait for food than to actually eat it which is why some people prefer to order and wait at the window. I think I’ll pass on H&F Burger if I’m ever back at Ponce City Market. There’s just so many other places to try out. Besides, I can always go to the actual Holeman & Finch restaurant on Peachtree or even go to Turner Field for their famed burger.

Not sure if this is the real deal since it’s not the original location, but it is good. And better than your turner field variant. Also, this trip was free as part of the test run. But they were pretty decent considering the insane crowd. For the price… You can get comparable burgers. But if you work in the area you can’t walk to a better burger than this. And there is beauty in the simplicity of the H&F burger — double meat, cheese, sauce, and great bread. I also got to try the black and white shake. Pretty good! But $ 6 is steep.
