She delivered my first baby at the Northside hospital atlanta. I saw Dr. anissa durairaj during my pregnancy and labored during a weekend when Dr. Anissa was off. She was the on call doctor and then the duty doctor for that late evening. I was rushed to have a section as I labored for about 16 hours and the baby wouldn’t come out as it turned out that the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby’s neck and his head was big. This is the first and only hospitalisation ever in my life and I was terrified about the section as the decision came in suddenly and quickly with no options left since the water broke long before I was admitted.
She convinced me that everything is gonna be safe and sound and that it will all be done in a few minute’s time. Sure to her words, my son came out in about 15 minutes and he is 21 months now! I just wanna post this review about her so others know that she is one of those good doctors who really help u out and give u confidence before you are cut!
