At first I was going to write a bad review because of the experience I had tonight didn’t start off very well. After a few emails with one of the employees didn’t go as planned The actual manager called me. He apologized for everything that had happened earlier in the night and did everything he could to make it better. At first I was surprised by the employee, but then I was surprised the manager called and fixed everything he could. I will be trying them again in the future to see if they can gain me as a regular customer, because they really do have great options of restaurants. I’ll review again after the second time.

Just a few words to describe: slow, rude, irritating. I understand the price difference, but what I don’t understand is why they’re so rude. one of the guys called me about my order(taking longer than they said) and I called the location, and they knew nothing about it. so the guy called me and the first thing he said«well, you called the wrong place» instead of apologizing for it taking forever, he just proceeds to tell me I’m wrong and be rude about it. then once the delivery man FINALLY got to my apartment, he basically flung the bag at me and said bye. definitely will not be using this service again. solid two thumbs down.

I understand a slightly higher price but if they are going to charge that expand the quantity. For the added 25 percent on the bill, which sounds like Obamas capital gain tax, make sure quantities are almost 4⁄3 at minimum, 2⁄1 optimally.

After placing an order, I realized that they charge considerable more than the restaurants themselves. This price increase is on top of a delivery fee as well as an included 15% tip. I then called to ask about the price difference and the employee became irate then cancelled my order. WTF??? I have never had this happen before, but I won’t lose sleep. Just beware of these people. They are nothing but rip offs.

Do NOT use Food Shuttle!!! I received a gift certificate from friends to order from Food Shuttle. The experience was horrible. The ordering was easy enough but it went downhill from there. It said my order went through and I’d receive a confirmation email. Never arrived. The status on their website never changed from«received» so I never was sure if the restaurant ever received the order. I called Food Shuttle and the customer service was bizarre. The guy started asking me who sent me the gift certificate and what was the reason. Why does that matter, I just wanted to know if my order was in progress. He mumbled a bunch of things that made no sense and told me that my order was in progress but would take extra long because of where I lived, which was already accounted for in the original 1.5 hr delivery estimate. The food finally arrived almost 2 hours after the order was placed. But the worst thing about them is that they charged $ 3 – 4 per appetizer and entrée over what it would have cost to order directly from the restaurant. That, plus the delivery fee and automatic tip made this ridiculously crazy cost. I don’t know how they stay in business but with my experience, and seeing other reviews, I doubt they will be around long. Horrible!

Very courteous, kind. They were willing to wait for a delivery that was messed up by the restaurant. Driver was Dave and he was very nice. They answer their phone within the first five seconds, and call you if they get lost. Five stars all the way. You rock, Food Shuttle!

Of course I didn’t check Unilocal and ordered from this hell hole. My fiancé ordered and even though I told him I didn’t want anything he ordered something anyway. We try to call the local number and the 800 number back to no avail. Just an answering machine stating they will call you back immediately. They close at 9 and it was getting close so we finally kept calling back to back til someone answered. The guy says too bad it’s too late you have to get it and pay for it. I was like it’s not our fault you guys don’t answer the phones nor call back. After 15 minutes of haggling back and forth he finally relented to removing the charge. I never had this issue with other companies like this. If you make a mistake or if you want to order more they gladly do it no questions asked. The customer service here stinks and by God don’t make a mistake or change your mind. Hopefully tomorrow the charges are reversed so I won’t have to spend all day trying to get my money back. So the delivery driver Gary showed up and said the charges are reversed but they still gave him the burger so he’s gonna take it and eat it. Ok i didnt want the burger but was that necessary to tell me? Also no receipt. Around 945 as I’m typing this review the manager calls and apologizes. He told me how the bank works and I should get the credit in 3 days. I asked about the receipt and he said drivers don’t have them even though I get a receipt with gowaiter and foodiecall. He did promise to email me an itemized receipt. He didn’t thank me for my business, he didn’t mention the driver stating her was just gonna eat the food, didn’t apologize on how we literally argued and haggled with the guy that answered the phone nor why they don’t answer the phones and just have the answering machine. Apparently a lot of mistakes were made because he had to ask me what order was mine even though he’s the manager and called me! I WILLNEVERUSETHEIRSERVICESAGAIN!

DONOTORDERFROMTHISPLACE! Not only do they charge between 8 – 10.00 to deliver the food and this does not include tip. They also grossly inflate the charges of the restaurant food prices to make more money there as well. So a simple order that may have cost you 25.00 will now cost you between 40 –50.00 once they tack on the delivery fee, tip and the additional money they add to the regular priced items on the menu. When I called the guy out about it his statement was«Well here is an idea, just don’t order from us. Go to someone else.»
