Firehouse Subs

This veggie sub is so !@#$%^ delicious I am compelled to use swear words about it. And it’s not stressful to order (I find ordering at subway to be very stressful).

Ordered from the catering menu and I didn’t think it’s much of a deal, portion was small and salad didn’t taste good their sweet tea was too sweet it’s undrinkable.
Nothing special about the sandwiches either, I rather go Subway sub in the same food court.

I am happy! I like firehouse subs in general. And this particular location didn’t have too many ups or downs. While I considered giving this an average 3 stars (because it’s, well,… Average and similar to others) I decided I shouldn’t knock it for no reason in particular. The food was made to order and relatively quick for lunch crowd. I would say firehouse is generally a $$ sub shop. Clean. And they had the little to-​go sauce cups w/​kids next to their plethora of sauces, my favorite being captain sorenson’s.
The reason I felt most compelled to write a review for a standard chain sub shop is because my eyes were opened to something you can only find at a firehouse sub!!!
Their Coca-​cola freestyle machines have a firehouse subs only «Cherry Limeade» and boy was that awesome! I’m used to getting my typically vanilla coke zero or some other delicious flavor but I decided to take a risk and so something wild. So cherry limeade it was and I wanted more! I drank my huge cup and went back for more. They ran out on my refill but I guess that tells us that people are certainly drinking it. Gimme more! It’s on the sweeter side so if you’re into the tartness, this may not be for you!
As far as their subs, for those of you who haven’t been, they have a standard 10 or so subs. All are good. Their bread is usually on par — I like that soft bread. The meat they give is usually standard (not a lot, nor too little). I stick with hook and ladder or steak and cheese.
I’ll be back again. Not just for the subs though… The cherry limeade…

My Chief’s Salad was big and tasty. Plenty of veggies and turkey breast. Lunch was under $ 10 for a salad, chips, and soda.
