Mid-size venue showcasing popular and emerging musicians, theater tours, comedy, dance and other events. As the venue publicist I am consistently impressed with the diversity of live performance options available to Atlanta residents, visitors and Georgia Tech students/alumni.

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. We have enjoyed our experiences here in the past, but that was long ago. I brought my wife and son to see Clare and the Chocolate Nutcracker. My son sits in his seat, and the whole seat collapses. He hurt his leg, but not enough to call 911, so I figured they could just find us different seats in the same row, and we could enjoy the show. I immediately notified the usher, and she escorted us to 3 seats next to our original seats. She then came and took the ticket of the broken seat and said she was going to show it to the director. I never received my ticket back. This was fine until another group of people came to sit in the seats they had moved us to. The new group tells us we are in their seats, and that we would need to move. I explained to them that they would need to talk to the usher that sat us here, and that it wasn’t our fault that the seat collapsed, or that we were told to sit in their seats. At this time, the director shows up and tells us that they would need to seat 2 of us some rows back and one of us could sit up front. I told them that them selling us a broken seat wasn’t our fault, nor them telling us to sit in these seats. The director rudely replies«I didn’t tell you to sit here». I reminded her that a member of her staff did though. The show was great, and I hate that I had to be put through this. They were nice enough to refund my money, but still hadn’t blocked off the broken seat. An elderly woman almost sat in it until we alerted her. It’s a good thing we were paying attention.
