So yum! I had the croissant with turkey and cheddar and the quinoa salad. I could only eat half it was so filling. I ordered through Über and will continue to do so!

Great spot to pick up breakfast, lunch or dinner. Been there twice for breakfast and their eggs are always spot on, cooked perfectly, and yummy. Soups are tasty as well as their salads. I love the fact that they change up their menu frequently and always have new and tasty entrees to add to the menu. Everything is always so fresh. Would be a great place to get to-go food for a nice picnic.

I enjoyed the tomato basil bisque and some of their sandwiches quite a bit. I have to say the salads are really uninspired and even though the ingredients in the dressing make it seem complicated the taste is very simple. I think you just have to be picky about what you choose.

I enjoyed the balsamic grilled chicken, although they only serve it at room temperature. Also, tried the white bean chicken soup… It’s balanced, savory, flavorful, and gluten free. The customer service was pleasurable.

I was very happy to find some low-carb options in the PCM world. Farm To Ladle has reputation for making some tasty treats. And I thought some Tuna Salad and a little of their White Bean Chicken Chili would hit the spot.(I know, weird combination. Don’t judge me.) And it looked delicious, but my tuna salad was very dry. As in, not only did they drain the tuna, but they squeezed it again after making it. Plus, it needed more bite. More acid. More mustard, maybe. The whole dish just fell kind-of flat. And the white bean chicken chili was tasty.(It seemed like more of a hearty stew, than a chili.) My only other criticism is that the price points seem high to me. Still, I’ll visit this place again. Holler if you’re coming with.

Farm to Ladle has been a huge disappointment for me. I think part of the problem is that I’m such a fan of Breadwinner Café(their original location) that I know Farm to Ladle does not live up to its full potential. My first big issue is service. Service is not the best here. I’ve been the only person standing at the counter to order and it will still take a few minutes for someone to acknowledge me and take my order. Yes, it’s a small place and there are numerous employees behind the counter. It still took a while to be acknowledged. I’ve also had an issue where I received the wrong salad item. The guy asked me four times which salad I wanted and I still got the wrong thing. This is a to-go place so I didn’t notice the error until I got home. Womp, womp. The multiple questions about which salad I ordered should have clued me in to check my food before I left the premises. My next big issue relates to price and value. Everything in PCM is overpriced. I get it. But, paying $ 12.99 for a trio combo when I can get the same thing at Breadwinner for $ 10 irks me. And I get more food for that lower price at Breadwinner. The half sandwiches that come with the trio are a fraction of the size of Breadwinners. I was so excited the week that Farm to Ladle offered Breadwinner favorites. My favorite caprese sandwich was one of the offerings. I almost cried when I opened my foil wrapping to find a half sandwich that I could devour in two bites. No kidding. This is minuscule compared to what they normally offer at Breadwinner. On one visit, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of soup. This cost me $ 16. I was slightly taken aback. The grilled cheese sandwich was essentially two slices of white loaf bread(about 4 inches x 4 inches) with two slices of cheese. I was expecting some fancy grilled cheese for that price. More sad faces. I will stick with Breadwinner and eat at other PCM establishments when I’m visiting PCM.

Friend and I wanted to grab something quick before heading out to a festival. Out of several options that I gave her, she picked Ponce City Market. I’ve tried most of the quick service stands at this point, so I decided to get Farm to Ladle this time. I ordered the trio special: pick 3 for $ 12.99. I got soup(white bean chicken chili), salad(Kale Pesto Pasta), and sandwich(Grilled Vegetable Panini). I toyed around with getting a cookie(they have chocolate chip and heath), but there were all on the hard side. I like my cookies to be soft. White Bean Chicken Chili chicken, navy beans, onions, garlic, green chilies, tomatoes, cilantro, thyme, tomatillos, yellow corn(Gluten Free) Grilled Vegetable Panini zucchini, eggplant, roma tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts & guacamole on multigrain bread(Vegan) Kale Pesto Pasta pasta, salsify, black olives, green onions, parmesan & kale pesto(VEG) *no pine nuts in pesto* Overall, this is just way too much food for the average person. I ate only half of the soup since(1) it was entirely too hot and could only barely eat it by the time I had finished off everything else and(2) it wasn’t that good. The pasta salad was ok. The salsify was weird. Never had it before. Ate a couple of them and then just pushed them to the side. I don’t know what, if anything, they add to the salad. The panini was pretty nice. I am usually not one to go vegetarian, but all the ingredients just sounded so good. My friend got the Prosciutto & Fig Jam — prosciutto, arugula, goat cheese & fig jam on ciabatta bread. She really liked it. I had a bite and I can also attest to the fact that it is a tasty sandwich. I hear that their menu changes quite a bit. I would definitely try them again. They move the line through quickly as the items are not made to order. There also some prepared goods in the fridge. But I wanted something that was a bit more fresh.

This is a great spot for a quick lunch when walking around the Beltline or PCM. I had a sandwich/salad combo and it was quite good. The do need to work out their system for ordering and picking up your order, as that seems to be a bit disorderly, but overall, a solid spot.

They have breakfast, y’all. And not just any breakfast. A DIY grits bowl with up to four toppings of your choosing. I like to keep it basic with bacon and cheddar but you could totally go crazy with chorizo or broccoli or even feta! They also make omelets and oatmeal to order, too. Farm to Ladle is, in my opinion, the best quick-service restaurant in Atlanta.(So good, I almost don’t want to share it) Of all of the new dining options in PCM, I find this to be my go-to regular spot and I absolutely love it.

An ok place for lunch while visiting Ponce City Market, I had the 3 for $ 12.99 ½’s(1 sandwich &2 salads)…the sandwich was ok(hot pressed) Italian sandwich with pesto, a tasty slaw & a bland pasta salad. With a coconut water, my total was $ 17.81(a little much for an average amount of food for lunch that was just good, not amazing). Besides the friendly woman next to where you pay(she had a broken foot, for description purposes & acknowledgement of how friendly she was), all of the guys working the line were like robots; no personality or conversation about the food or the day, similar to a Chipotle assembly line. Seems like the best spot for lunch because it has that lunch feel, but I will certainly try almost every other restaurant in PCM before returning here.

I’m glad they have vegan options but they’re always pretty boring. The orzo is the most interesting vegan item I’ve seen, but it is very bland. The canned drinks are hugely overpriced. The service is as bland as the orzo. Just eh.

I finally checked out PCM. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was crazy busy. We tried Farm to Ladle and were pleasantly surprised. We got the #1 combo, where you get a cup of soup, a half sandwich, and one of there salads. It is $ 12.99, but it is a LOT of food. It seems that they change their menu every week, but they had 4 or 5 choices for each of those categories. I ordered the Tomato Basil Soup, buffalo chicken sandwich, and the broccoli pasta salad. All were very tasty. Also, ordered a cookie on the side($ 2.50 but DEFINITELY worth it). Also, be prepared to pay for a drink. They don’t have any fountain drinks, you just buy by the can, which is a little overpriced. There isn’t any seating in the store. We took our meals upstairs, where there were tables and more space. The parking at PCM is a bit of a pain if it’s busy. It’s 2 dollars an hour at a parking meter machine. You enter in your license plate number in the machine, so make sure you write that down before you walk away from your car.

I was pleasantly surprised with Farm to Ladle. I got a sneak preview of the goods because two of my coworkers had walked down the Beltline to FTL earlier in the day and brought back lunch. When I saw and smelled what they were eating, I was intrigued enough to give it a try myself, so later two more coworkers and I braved the colds of January and took a tour down the Beltline ourselves to Ponce City Market. I love going in to Ponce City Market because every time we visit new shops and stores have opened. As we took our latest tour around, once again, all kinds of restaurants that were coming soon before are open now. We quickly located Farm to Ladle — it’s to the right after coming down the spiral staircase from the second floor towards the end where General Assembly is. And although the line was long in the little space, it moved quite quickly. In addition to lots of premade soups, salads and sandwiches for purchase in a cold case to one side, you can get all kinds of fresh soups, salads and sandwiches made in right there in the kitchen right behind the shop front. I ordered a half sandwich of the California turkey wrap to go, and it’s a hefty half sandwich — one serving was plenty for me. It came with turkey, avocado, shredded carrots, lettuce, other veggies I can’t remember and a side of ranch. Very tasty. And compared to a lot of the restaurants in the Ponce City Market(which are a little pricey for takeaway), Farm to Ladle was pretty reasonable. I’d definitely come back for another soup or sandwich in the future.

This is some legit Soup Nazi level soup. DH and I tried the tomato basil bisque and cream of asparagus and were blown away. So, so good. Both were very rich soups, but awesome for the occasional treat. I also had the broccoli goat cheese salad(bangerz) and DH had some kind of sandwich, which he was digging as well. The long-ish line moved quickly and we had no problem finding a table to sit down at(although it was like 1:15ish). You can tell they use quality ingredients, so I’m sure that’s why a simple, counter-service lunch for 2 came to like $ 35, but I would say it’s worth it occasionally. That said, I wouldn’t eat here every day with these prices!

I came to Ponce City Market with a group of coworkers for lunch. After doing a lap around to check out all the vendors, we finally settled on this place due to its popularity(the line was out the door). I ordered the lunch combo with 2 sides and a soup: beet salad, tuna + green beans, and tomato basil soup. The tomato basil soup was BYFAR the best thing here — highly recommended! The cookies also looked very tempting, but we didn’t indulge ourselves that day. –L.

I love this place for lunch! It’s located just about in the middle of the Ponce City Market food area. The great thing about this place is that they write the ingredients of everything and it’s all fresh and healthy. My favorite thing to do is the lunch combo. It’s $ 12.99 for three items. It’s a little pricey, but I usually can’t eat everything and save it for later to make a second meal or snack. Soup: Tomato bisque is so good that it’s hard to try anything else. Definitely some of the best I’ve had in Atlanta. It comes in a fairly large container which is nice. Salads: They rotate, so it’s different every time I have been but they do repeat. I liked the pesto pasta and Brussel sprout salad a lot. The orzo pasta was flavorful and good as well. Sandwiches: The veggie sandwiches I’ve had were all really flavorful and not lacking anything, which I find a lot with veggie sandwiches. They seem to put vegetarian refried beans or black beans to add to it. The chicken sandwich I had recently was killer. It had mango chutney which made it great. A little pricey, but that’s to be expected with the kind of food this is. Definitely worth visiting!

I want to go here more since I work in the building and look for healthier fare most times. But I can’t get past the pricing here. I’ve had their half sandwich and farro salad. It was the buffalo turkey sandwich which was tasty but it was truly a small sandwich half. For $ 5. The small side of farro salad was also $ 5. Both were pretty good and I do appreciate fresh ingredients but I can’t justify this on a regular basis. Too much for too little. There are many grab-n-go options but most sandwiches are $ 10. Yikes. I’ve heard good things about their breakfast and may give that a shot. But I do appreciate having a healthier option here at PCM.

I am a huge fan of Farm to Ladle, I have had two different meal services here which I will describe and was a huge fan of, but first the location etc. Farm to Ladle is located in the Main Food Hall of the new and awesomely apportioned Ponce City Market. It’s on the First Floor near West Elm, and I am so glad this business is here. Next, they have hit the iron hot and opened quickly in the hall, a great many restaurants are behind them and they have already hit the ground running to provide fresh quality food at a remarkably fair price. I attended the soft opening and had a Field Green salad, with blackberries, gets and a sriracha vinaigrette dressing as well as a cup of amazing gazpacho. The salad was crispy and the feta cheese mixed with the sweetness of the blackberries and the crunch of the field greens came together beautifully, the spicy of the sriracha vinaigrette came together to form an amazing explosion of flavors in my mouth. The gazpacho had a white wine base, with amazing tomato flavor and even some pieces, garlic and some peppers. I didn’t even want gazpacho when I showed up but this one was amazing! They gave me a complimentary bottle of water and I found somewhere in the food hall to eat my meal. I also had breakfast and man oh man it may have been even better than lunch! I had a build your own omelette with pepper jack cheese, spinach, cheddar and onions that could have easily fed two people. That came with a fluffy biscuit which was well baked and tasted extremely fresh and also a side of fruit cup! The fruit cup had pineapples, honeydew, grapes and cantaloupe! It was an awesome touch that combined with coffee and I was out the door with a breakfast for around 10 bucks! I will say the coffee wasn’t my favorite but I have definitely had worse. They walked my omelette out to me seated in the main food hall and asked if I needed utensils or condiments. I asked for salt and hot sauce and used neither as it did not need it! I could not eat that whole meal and needless to say I was stuffed! This business is awesome and is a fine addition to PCM and I am so excited what other fresh offerings they come up with as well as to see how it fits with the rest of the places in PCM. Awesome job you guys and I will be making special trips to Farm to Ladle when I can!

This review is of the soft opening, so more to come once they’re fully ready. However they had about 2⁄3 of the menu available today and all of the food was tasty, fresh, and thoughtfully made. It’s not just another salad and soup place, but it kind of is at the same time. I had a fig and brie sandwich, a field greens salad with goat cheese and raspberry vinaigrette, along with a chicken white chili. Overall, everything was pretty good. The farm meals are pretty big, which offset the $ 13 they’ll go for. It’s a pretty large lunch if you’re starved though. Otherwise it seems the sandwiches and salads will run $ 7 – 10. Since it was the soft opening, everything was pre-made, thought it hadn’t sat long since there was a massive amount of people there. How they’ll do when they’re actually in service is another story.
