My deep tissue with Sara was AMAZING! She really focused on the areas that were bothering me (shoulders and upper back), and the knots just melted away. She made sure the pressure level was right for me. The staff is friendly, rooms are inviting with soft beds, beautifully decorated and perfectly dim lighting. I highly recommend eScentual Body.

Get on Old Spring House lane right next to Waffle House, keep going until you see a building on your left, the spa will be at the very back/​end of the building. Note that this spa shares a building with other businesses.
My sister, Angela H., had gotten me a gift certificate for a Swedish massage with Wendy, the owner/​massage therapist, at eScentual Body for my birthday! So a couple months ago, I booked the earliest Saturday appointment, which was October 3.
I finally went yesterday, and it was a nice experience. I went with my mom because she got one from my sister as well. My appointment was at 10am, but the instructions in the email said to come earlier to fill out a short form before we got our massage (how you heard about the spa, health conditions, etc.). We got there around 9:40am. A couple minutes later, I received a text from the owner saying she was running ~15min late, so we just waited in the car. No biggie. She got there around 10am, so we entered a couple minutes after she went in so she could turn on the lights, etc.
The pre-​massage:
So I went first, because we both made an appointment with her. If you’re not familiar with getting a full body massage, know that she will take you to the room where you will get your massage, ask you to undress all the way (you can keep your bottom undies on if you really don’t want to take them off) but don’t worry she won’t see any of your goodies. lol She will leave the room, give you a few minutes to undress and get under the covers. You will start by lying on your back.
The massage:
The massage was nice, she starts with your face, head, neck, and shoulders. Then she does your arms and legs. You then turn over, and she works on the back of your legs and then your back. The massage overall was great, but if I could change one thing about the massage, it would be her nails. It was a bit painful to feel her nail dig into my skin mainly on my back, and maybe some other parts of my body, but it wasn’t super painful where I had to scream in pain. Perhaps if she kept her nails a little shorter, it wouldn’t have been a problem. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to come off as being rude (is that weird?). After the massage, she offered me nice, warm tea with honey!
This spa has been open for about 3 years now, and she is getting pretty busy. She does have other massage therapists that work part time, but she is the most popular. She does have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy, so if you cancel even 22 hours before, you will be charged, or you will have to forfeit your groupon (if you had one). Wendy is really kind, and really focused on knowing where your problem areas are, so she can help to release that tension, wherever that may be.
Don’t forget to ask about specials or packages she might be offering.

As I can’t saty much about the massage service, I’m here to write about their policy. I understand that there is a24 hours cancellation policy. However, I got called in to work to work that day and can’t make it to the appointment. I called 22 hrs before, the fastest I know about my schedule and they still want to charge. I feel like this is an emergency situation and they should have been more understanding. Also, when they informed me if this I asked if my friend can replace me but they said they sold the space. Like really? I said I would keep my appointment. And I called 5 min after they called me.
Compared to getting fired, I think losing my voucher would be much better. Never coming here and God forbid you have an emergency before your massage.

Don’t even bother purchasing the Groupon deal. You can’t even book an appointment before the voucher expires because the days are either blocked out or full. On top of that, poor customer service. I would never go back. Save your money.

This was my first massage that I have used a groupon for, and it was fabulous. Wendy, the LMT, was very professional, yet friendly, took time at the beginning of the appointment to really find out about injuries, pressure points and really personalized the massage. I’ve already booked another appointment!

I cannot explain how amazing my experience was — you’ll need to go see for yourself! The décor is lovely and relaxing. I’ve had many massages and Wendy is definitely either my favorite or second favorite — I’ll have to go back to really decide! She offers great deals on top of her already great prices. I really cannot wait to return! I’ve had maybe a dozen massages where the masseuse dug into my shoulder blades because they were so tense — Wendy knew how to perfectly work them out without any pain! Her pressure was perfect, temperature was perfect, the room was perfect, the soothing music and smells were perfect… I would definitely recommend!

Best deep tissue massage that I have had in a while and that’s saying a lot since I get them once a month! This was my first time here and I already made two more appointments for future visits. Wendy was very professional and the massage table was so comfortable that I actually asked her about it. Can I have one of those in my house? :-)

I bought my fiancé a groupon during Christmas because she had previously enjoyed massages from eScentual’s
She made an appointment days in advance however once she got to the appointment she was told since she was a returning client she would not be able to use the groupon. My fiancé advised it was a gift however, the business refused to honor the groupon and stated she had to pay the difference…
There is nothing on the groupon that states it would not apply if you are a returning client… I would think a business that wants to keep clients would honor their own promotion.
I also think if they are so worried about selling massages for full price they should probably stop selling groupons for 40% their full price.
I would not advise using eScentuals for the price there are other local businesses with better rates and professionalism

Best massage of my life. 60 minute deep tissue was well worth it. Wendy is amazing. I workout a lot and have many muscle cramps and shoulder problems, but after Wendy’s massage, I’ve never felt better. She thoroughly gets every muscle. I have already booked my next session. You need to book in advance because she books up quickly!

I highly recommend This place. The massage was excellent. The environment is really relaxing. I did a 60 minute Swedish massage for relaxation and almost fell asleep a few times. She makes you very comfortable.
I used to Groupon that I had bought and it was no problem at all. Sometimes providers treat you like a second-​class citizen when you you redeem a Groupon, not so here. I even booked the Groupon service through her online appointment booking. Then I showed her my app at the front desk. And it was taken care of. Remember to leave a tip on the full value of the service if you’re using a voucher.

Sometimes companies aren’t very friendly when you use a Groupon. Not the case at Escentual Body. Wendy was incredibly friendly and everything went smoothly.
I received a wonderfully relaxing massage, and afterward, I was even offered the opportunity to purchase another massage at the same price as the original Groupon. Done!
Can’t wait to go back!

I have been a client for quite some time and have followed Wendy throughout her career. The BEST massage EVER!!! Not just a massage, it’s an experience in tranquility, relaxation and pain relief. Go see this girl.

Wendy has magic in her hands, not only does she have a fantastic bedside manner she worked out all my kinks. Cant wait till my next appointment with her. Do yourself a favor, book and appt with her. You wont regret it!
