We went here for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon and were definitely pleased with the food quality, service, and atmosphere. We got a noodle entrée and the cashew chicken stir fry for under $ 20 and both were solid. They even let us substitute brown rice for free. Overall, I thought the stir fry was much better than the noodle dish. I would definitely come here again for a quick, cheap meal.

I looooove this place! The japanese ginger salad is a great choice if you’re vegetarian. The veggie spring roll is a must! Absolutely amazing! Very flavourful. They offer a whole menu of organic tea pots, which is exciting for a tea lover like myself.

Doc Chey’s is automatic. I have been there dozens of times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Me personal favorites are their soups and chicken lettuce wraps.

I love this place, always great service and the food is great. The noodles are perfect and the apps are always really good. I get a bowl of noodles and chicken with some veggies every time. Always perfect and hot. It’s a great place to take your family.

As a vegetarian who likes to have a variety of options on the menu, Doc Chey’s is one of my very favorite places for a healthy, satisfying meals. A number of their dishes can be prepared vegetarian, with the option to add vegetables, fried tofu, or silken tofu. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff are always extremely friendly and attentive. Parking can be tricky, depending on the time of the day(as can seating, especially on the weekends or at peak lunch time), but I’ve never had to wait too long to get a seat and get fed. The patio is large, and perfect in the Spring or Fall. If you’re looking for a recommendation on your fist visit, try the black bean noodle bowl with fried tofu.

The pace is clean and the service is good. It reminds me of the small places I went to in Japan when I was in the navy. Tonight I got the Japanese salad with chicken. My wife got Chinese wok fried rice. She was in the mood for rice. We were not able to eat all of the food and we will take the left overs home for a lunch. The beer tonight was Guinness blond. My first time to drink this and it is good. I love drinking Asahi here The the green beans as an appetizer. We chose this on a lark and we were pleasantly surprised how good that they were prepared. This is a great relaxed place to have a good meal.

I was happy to find this place after a day of IKEA shopping. The service was very friendly, a little slow, but our server was very knowledgeable and helped me out when ordering. I got the General Tso’s Tofu and my husband got the Massaman Curry special. I asked about the Kung Pao sauce and was told that it does have fish sauce, but they recommended the General Tso’s Tofu for a vegetarian entrée. It was very good and they made it a little more spicy and added peanuts so that it would be more«Kung Pao-y». I will definitely return!

This place is great. You have an option of sitting outside or inside, or getting it to go. You get a ton of food for a decent price. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, and they made your food super fast. I got the Japanese Udon Teriyaki Bowl with Chicken and it was amazing. A ton of food, and it was only $ 10!

I love this place. It’s close to my work, and one of my favorite spots to cure my «chinese food» craving, without all the MSG. The staff is always friendly, and my take out orders are always ready within 10 minutes. I usually love to start with the edemame(steamed and healthy), or the dumplings. My favorite entrée in the Thai Coconut Curry dish. SODELICIOUS. the imperial salad and fish tacos are also tops. It’s just all good. Friends and I love to sit on their patio when the weather is nice and enjoy a beer.

This place was surprisingly tasty. I believe it had new to do with the server and master of the experience«Kathleen» who was so on point. She is a gamer with ZELDA tats on her left forearm. They are not Chakras! Ok, but back to the food. It was very tasty. I had the Chinese Lo Mein with poultry. Nice bite size pieces that were quite succulent. I actually could not stop eating the food. So if you go here, know that the food is addictive and is very filling. It is suggested that you share a bowl or plate with a significant other. And make sure that you try the Thai dumplings with shrimp– these were very delicious– with these abs a Tsing-Tao beer I was good to go. Peace Love & Noodles

I like this place and have eaten here for years. However, I ordered the Bimimbap to go the other day. I have gotten them at the Emory location and they are great. This one had brown rice and asian slaw with a fried egg on top. no mushrooms, no spinach, no spouts, and whatever else usually comes on it. I ordered it to go so it was too late when I got home. Im thinking it was just a lazy cook or a new employee. disappointing.

This is the best Thai food in the world — and I’ve been to every Thai restaurant from Asheville, NC to Columbia, SC. Easy 5 stars. Pros: Great atmosphere, friendly servers and authentic Thai food(Beef and broccoli is my favorite!) Cons: Do they not have Mountain Dew Code Red in Thailand?

Been here a couple of times and it’s always so wonderful! terrific food, service and tea options in the liquid karma menu. Highly recommend the Bibimbap and the Pad Thai. Both are just amazing. This is my favorite place to go for affordable Asian food!

I’m not really sure why it took so long for me to try this place. This location has a cool laid back vibe to it. Not as pretentious as the other restaurants in this area. Got the lettuce wraps to start [good], and the Mongolian Beef as the main [great]. Not like your ordinary Chinese food spots this stuff is fresh made to order. have a drink or two while you wait, people watch and enjoy the time.

I was not impressed! Maybe it was a bad day for me or maybe for them but big fat gnats flying around my food was not my idea of yummy. They must have been feasting for a while cause they were very large. I ate my food and didn’t complain cause 2 complaining kids on my end was already enough to deal with. Plus I’ve eaten worse! I am very discouraged on returning here and would not recommend. Also at the end of the meal with you fortune cookie you get slices of oranges. Those came unwashed I know this because the stickers were still attached. Call me spoiled but every piece of raw fruit and vegetable should be washed. This is not only known to be true in America but every country I have ever visited. I would only give one star but the service was good and she was kind so one more for good service is due.

Quite honestly I would hate to be vegetarian here in Atlanta because it seems like your choices are limited. This is another spot I frequent with my vegetarian family members because they have good options for them. But for us down and dirty hearty meat eaters… Eh. I love fried rice. Love. It. But if I have to layer it in soy sauce, that is not a good sign. I layer my Doc Chey fried rice in soy sauce, FYI. I love Asian flavors and you are not going to get it here. You will get Asian like. The portions are a good size and… its good if you’re hungry and in the neighborhood and you are vegetarian. They do have beer…

I actually really enjoyed the food I got here last night. When I walk into a place that claims to be Asian«fusion”/“inspired» I usually am pretty wary, and steer clear of the dishes that claim to emulate the dishes from my childhood. However, the shanghai dumplings were pretty tasty, actually! While I doubt the wrappers were handmade, there is no question that the dumplings themselves were wrapped and filled in-house. Very different from other dumplings I have had(usually the ginger is available on the side as a condiment, not included IN the dumpling itself), but for what I paid(4 dumplings for $ 5) I think they were reasonably tasty and priced. I REALLY liked my soba noodle salad, which also came with finely grated carrots, sliced cucumbers, shredded romaine, shelled edamame(I forget the technical name), a delightfully light ginger dressing, and crunchy fried noodles on top. I had it with steamed tofu(you can order it with fried tofu, too). So delicious! But I am not Japanese, and don’t have any preconceived notions about whether what I ate constitutes a bastardization of some sort. The boyfriend opted for one of the specials, Dan Dan noodles, which I do have more experience with… and while he liked his entrée; to me it just tasted like sweetened pork chow mein. Overall, though, very good meal! Definitely would come back; I would just order selectively.
