Not the most amazing lounge I’ve ever been to but certainly gives many lounges a run for its money. I would say the biggest downfall of this lounge is the size and space/shape. It is long and narrow like a bowling alley. Scratch that, the absolute biggest downfall is that there is no internal bathroom. You have to go out turn left and walk down about 200 to 300 feet and go to the bathroom there. Kind of sucks, but I guess not that big a deal. But the food and drinks more than make up for it. I hear that the breakfast is mediocre but the after breakfast food is kinda awesome. There is a small salad bar with various lettuces and 3 cold appetizer type salads, a tuna cranberry salad, a mushroom something and a tortellini thing. Then there are two soups, a vegetarian option and a, and I quote, «Wicked Thai-Style Chicken and Rice» soup. A veggie tray, Ciabatta bread, crackers, cheese, spreads, and a few other tid bits. As for drinks, there is a bar where you can order a lot of different drinks, and bartender will definitely recommend a complimentary drink in place of the drink that you may have originally asked for, which is really nice. Then you can always choose to purchase the drink that you wanted to go with the complimentary alternative. There’s also a couple things of water, infused water, sweet tea(because we’re in the south) a variety of teas and a hot beverage machine that will mix you up pretty much any hot beverage that you want: coffee, latte, hot chocolate, steamed milk, hot water, mocha, just about anything. Also, after reading a few of the reviews for this location, and looking at the pictures I realize that this may be for two separate lounges. The lounge that I am referring to is between D 12 and D16 or so… Not entirely sure but it was definitely a while before D6 and about a stone’s throw and across the walkway from Five Guys.

Busy! I must be traveling when everyone else is on the move. This Skyclub was just full. It was hard to find a seat and the ones available had reasons why they were empty.

Ambience. A Service. A Food. A Price. B Clean open and not so crowded times I’ve been through. Bathrooms are cleaned routinely. Nice. Service bartender, Sevin. very friendly today for acknowledging I was waiting. I’m glad they finally upgraded from Filandia vodka to stolichinaya for the well brand. Yea! Good food options. I enjoyed the tomatoe soup and had a. Mixed green salad with mushrooms, chicken salad and chick peas. Today was a pleasant experience.

Smallish facility, fortunately close to my gate. Some tasty peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. Plenty of power outlets and a nice view. No restroom! I could understand it not having showers, but the restrooms were not close to location. Staff was friendly.

I was in Atlanta the other week and got stuck in the ATL Airport due to delays and etc. I then decided to take that opportunity and use my travel perks to ‘lounge hop’. I checked out a few airport lounges and this Delta Sky Club in concourse D was probably my lease favorite. I didn’t like it that much because it was downstairs and didn’t feel as open because there were no windows. The food and drink selection is standard to any other Delta Sky Club. Not sure if I just went during a down time, but it was pretty empty. If I’m ever stuck at the ATL airport again, I would take a trip down to another terminal and go to a different Delta Sky Club.

All Sky Clubs are the best to relax. Now with upgraded food services it has just gotten better. I have been a Club member for 16 years and it has been my best travel investment —

I tend to always forget that this Sky Club exists. If you happen to find yourself in Terminal D, head over to gate D27 to make your way DOWN to the club. Unlike most clubs, this one happens to be in the basement. It is generally less crowded than the other ones because it tends to be forgotten about. While this club is on the smaller side, the large open concept and white walls makes it appear larger than it is. There are rows of seats lined up next to each other, yet they are spaced apart from each other so they don’t seemed cramped. They also have the giant red chairs that are enclosed. There is a full bar, including the up charge Luxury bar, that is lined with a few bar stools as well as small high two top tables. The do have a small snack bar area setup that provides the typical Sky Club offerings. Luckily, you don’t really have to hunt for power plugs as they have the same power plug stand as they do in the terminals between some of the seats that allows for multiple people to charge their electronics. While this club may not offer a view of the runway, it does offer peace and quite when compared to other clubs. If you happen to be in Terminal D, it is a nice get away from the hustle and the bustle.

It’s an ok club. It’s sort of on the small side. All the seating is contained by one large room lined on one side with the bar and food options. There are various styles of chairs — all rather low though, no lounge chairs. The club wasn’t busy on my visit, so finding a seat near a plug wasn’t hard. Note however that none of the chairs have individually contained plugs. There are some electric poles scattered around but there are chairs that have zero outlet access. This location has The Luxury Bar and standard food options.

One of the harder to find SkyClubs and so maybe that makes it a little bit quieter and more peaceful than the usual crowded ones. It’s downstairs as opposed to upstairs so there isn’t any real sightseeing or views of the airport. But they have the same things here as at all SkyClubs — some free booze, free snacks, free wifi and lots of power outlets near comfortable chairs. It’s a good place to wait out your long(or short) layover. Membership is available on an annual basis. I bought mine on a monthly payment — I don’t know if they still do that. Day passes are also available. Outside food is not permitted.

Among the seemingly endless amount of Delta Sky Clubs at ATL, this one at gate D27 seems to be the most«hidden» and definitely the quietest! Personally, I like that it’s not so huge and cavernous like the clubs on B Concourse, while still having most of the amenities. If you need to shower, you’ll need to head to the clubs at Concourses E or F, and note that this club doesn’t have a «quiet area» or a «business center,» but it does have the full complement of seating options, from high-top tables with outlets, to comfy seats with small side tables, to couches, to basic chairs. Wi-Fi works without a hitch and is fast enough to get work done or stream movies. Power outlets are plentiful, and club is kept clean by efficient staff members. You’ll find your expected selection of cookies, nuts, etc., also hummus and veggies and crackers. Coffee machine is nice, and full selection of Coke products, etc. If you’re looking for one of the smaller, quieter, and lesser-used Delta Sky Clubs in ATL, then check out the D Concourse club. While you won’t be able to shower off your travel scum or peck away at your laptop from a business center, you will still be able to relax and get some much-needed space away from the constant madness that is ATL airport!

This is one of the better Sky Clubs in Atlanta. It’s big, like the old-school ones. It’s well stocked and clean. They have lots of power outlets so I can charge my electronics. And they have oatmeal, the true breakfast of champion travelers.

This is my favorite sky club in ATL. Weather you are waiting between flights or arrived in the airport early this is the best place to wait before or even after each flight. With and enclosed environment from the terminal . This sky club is located down stairs near gate 27 on concourse d. Down stairs they have plenty of comfortable chairs and power cords throughout the club. Work stations have computers and printers for though who don’t have a notebook or tablet on hand. The bar have limited seating with TVs showing CNN and ESPN. Service at the bar is ok. Occasionally the bar tender will step aside for 3 min. As all Sky clubs they offer free well drinks and domestic and free imported beers. Snarks are ok chips crackers hummus pretzels, cookies, carrots and celery during the day. Coffee machine available to make late, cappuccino or just plain coffee. COST If you don’t want to through 300 – 500 dollars a year in membership like me sign up with any of the amex delta cards to get free access or discounted enty. Or pay 39 dollars for a one day pass upon check in through delta. PROS Free well drinks, Free beer Simple snacks available free Computer stations with printers Comfortable seats Helpful Gate agents Power cords– It can be tough to come-by at the terminal free WiFi

Nice, new, clean, and spacious, this Sky Club makes waiting at ATL a breeze. Get yourself access via AmEx Platinum and wait in style and comfort. There are plenty of seating options with plenty of outlets, a number of workstations with printer use, awesome staff, and importantly, a killer bar. During an early morning stop before our Cancun trip, we enjoyed free drinks as well as the free breakfast. The bagels were delicious and I really liked the cappuccino that was dispensed from the machine. The fiancée enjoyed his hot oatmeal. We’ve noticed only snacks at most places so we were delighted to be able to eat good breakfast at this club. As others have mentioned, the seating and design allows for privacy and rest. The gals that were working were really helpful and worked tirelessly to maintain the place(I saw the same gal in the bathroom twice cleaning around). The bathrooms are actual little rooms(instead of stalls) and are spacious enough to bring luggage into(I had to change into shorts). The bar was fresh and inviting and we enjoyed well drinks at eight in the mo’ning(hey, drinks were free!). I only wish more Sky Clubs were like this one!

I’ve been hittin’ the clubs for years… the Sky Clubs that is. This is really my favorite at ATL. It’s got great highbacked chairs for napping in(or having a private conversation). Being that it’s the newest club(I’ve been waiting for this one to open as I often fly in and out of Concourse D on Delta’s regional jet carriers), it’s still kind of an undiscovered gem. This one is rarely busy and recently I’ve had as much as four-hour layovers here. The club is on the small size. It’s tucked neatly away under gate D27. The layout of the club is a wide open floor, but again, the highbacked seats on one side of the club allow for some privacy if needed. I like that the staff here is really friendly and helpful. The bartenders actually seem interested in where it is I’m going and how my day is(unlike some other clubs I’ve been in). There are all kinds of places that I can sit and charge my laptop, and my cellphone, and my iPad, and… well, that’s all I have to charge, but at least it’s nice to know that there’s plenty of places to charge them all. The bathrooms are all private bathrooms, which is really nice if you just need to get a few minutes of alone time to, uh, take care of some business. They are all very clean and well-maintained. In some of my marathon clubbing sessions during long layovers, I notice that an attendant seems to check these out and clean them about once an hour. They do have some light snacks if you need something quick to eat. The types of snacks keep changing(and I miss the cookies, do you hear me Delta? Bring back the cookie!). Non-alcoholic and well liquor drinks are free. If you want something premium, they do charge for it. But, their well drinks are good enough for me(I’m a bourbon/whiskey drinker… so it’s Jack and Coke for me). I like this Sky Club. Definitely my retreat from the hustle and bustle from the airport. Next time you’re flying through ATL, maybe I’ll see you there.

I can dig this club! Located underground and not full of the hustle of other clubs, this is a quiet place. Chairs with backs high enough to create a wall similar to the herringbone business seats create some privacy in this smaller sized club. On Tuesday morning, it was eerily quiet that you could almost hear a pin drop on 1 side of the room or watch the TV behind the bar. Lots of plugs that I could easily charge my phone and laptop without bothering others.

They need to change the name of this From Sky Club to Underground Club. This one is under the terminal near gate D27. Wide open area and plenty of charging places here. Even some high back chairs if you have a few hours between flights. Nothing close to the Sky Clubs at Detroit though.
