This particular CVS has a pretty cool front entrance. The CVS sign is hand painted above the door. Who does this anymore? A hand painted sign? Makes me wonder if this is one of the very early CVS’ in Atlanta. Other than the«throw back» feel this gives you, CVS has become hot garbage. I’ve moved on to bigger and better drug peddlers.

Bought a pint of ben and jerrys ice cream and asked cashier for a spoon to eat my ice cream, she said to ask the pharmacist, so walked to back of store and asked and they told me to go buy a spoon in aisle 3. WTF?! I then said I wanted to return the ice cream and he(the asian guy) rolled his eyes, gave me a spoon and said«next time buy a spoon.» What a jerk!

Sits on the corner of N. Druid Hills and Buford Hwy. Sits in front of the Hampton Inn. What is it with me and security alerts… or do I just feel guilty about something, Im tellin you I was in this store less than a minute when I hear security scan all lanes, security, scan all lanes! For real? Are they talking about me? Then damn if security doesnt come and scan my lane. Here I am tryin to buy personals and security’s behind is standing right near me. LOL… So after I realize that Im not the security breech, but the haggard lookin man on the next aisle, I move on to the 75% off all Christmas items aisle and it has been picked through, picked over and there is nothing worth having even at 75% off. When I got to the register, I had an item that wasnt priced at the counter and on the package, so I asked the cashier if I could get a price check. He told me no, that I had to scan the package. Thinkin I must have heard him wrong, I said WHAT? he says… no mame… i cant scan it… my manger dont allow that, you have to use the self scanner. Well I be a monkey’s uncle… a dam self scanner and Im standing here at the cash wrap. Well yall know me… and know darn well I wasnt about to get out of line to scan a package that he could fully well tell me the price of and thats just what I told him… actually what I said was tell your manager you have a void, cause Im not self-scanning anything… U are my scanner. The elderly couple behind me tensed up, I know they thought it was about to be ONANDPOPPIN up in the CVS, but the cashier musta remember that the customer is always rite, because he said… I’ll do it and walk his behind from around the register and went to the self-scanner, scaned the item came back, told me the price, and just to be bitchy… i told him… uhhhhh can u ring it on the register so I can see if I save any extra with my CVS card. LOL, yes… u too friend can have me as an obnoxious customer too if you push the right button… and no… I didnt save more with my CVS card… Manager to register one for a void. Yeah… I thought so. Let this be a lesson to u big brother… if I wanna scan things on my own, I’ll go to Macy’s…but at CVS… im not self scanning nothing. So of course, I forgot one thing and had to go back and get it. Nail Polish remover, not sure but I only saw the CVS version of nail polish remover, so I head back to the register… just to mess with the guy… I say… can u tell me how much this cost… lol…he rolls his eyes at me, but scans the nail polish remover anyway… and just as he is about to pick up the mic to call the manger for a void… I say… ok…I;ll take it… lol I can be so witchy sometimes! LOL3 star just for putting up with me!

This CVS serves its purpose. It is convenient for me which is the most positive thing about it. I try to only go here during the day because I have encountered several weird incidents when coming here at night. Sometimes there are homeless people hanging around begging for money. Management has stepped it up and made many efforts to get them to leave the premise. One time a homeless person was shop lifting and the manager working that night jumped on the guy as he was trying to leave the store. That was pretty intense. But overall I have had good experiences with the pharmacy here. They always have the prescriptions I need and the pharmacists have always been helpful when I had questions. Sometimes you get stuck behind someone at the counter who doesn’t speak English and it can take a few minutes for their issue to be resolved, but hey it’s Buford Hwy, these things happen.
