If you read my earlier review, I mentioned how I got food poisoning and bug bites on the last day. Here’s an update. I ACTUALLYGOTSCABIESFROMTHISHOTEL!!! They didn’t even change my bed sheets throughout my entire 3 night stay. In fact, THEYNEVERCHANGEDTHEBEDSHEETS in between the time when the previous guest checked out and before the time I checked in. Obviously, this hotel just wants to save money and has absolutely no clue that YOUMUSTCHANGEBEDSHEETSALLTHETIMEINORDERTOPREVENTSKININFECTIONSANDMITEINFESTATIONS! I slept on the same dirty bed sheets that was used by a previous guest who had scabies. Sadly, not everyone is educated enough to recognize how contagious scabies is or how to treat it. It all started out as a few bug bites on the morning that I checked out. The next day I kept on itching. Then on the 4th day after I checked out from this hotel… VOILA! I had three separate clusters of pimple-like bug bites that broke out all over the my chest, both of my arms, as well as my neck. How did I know it was scabies? BECAUSETHEYITCHLIKETHEYBURNANDTHEYSPREADLIKERABIESALLOVERYOURBODY! Every 8 to 12 hours, a new set of bug bites just miraculously appear on my skin from thin air. You can’t see the mites because they’re invisible to the naked eye, but they breed like crazy and scatter trails of bites everywhere. Now I have all these nasty welts all over my body which burn and itch like there’s no tomorrow. I had to go see a dermatologist and get a prescription and do multiple loads of laundry just to eradicate this infestation. No amount of money of staying at this hotel is worth it. This must be one of the worst hotel nightmares I ever had in my life. I’m never coming back here and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. All thanks to the lazy maid or hotel staff who didn’t think it was necessarily to change bed sheets.

Took a trip with my family for the summer and we booked here. The customer service from the front desk was great. Everyone had a great since of humor and was very helpful. The manager Angela was awesome. Missing one star due to us not being able to get into the pool due to maintenance.

I had called this hotel 2 months before the game we were going to to book a reservation. They told me it would be about 100 for the night which was fine because the hotel is located next to Turner Field. Once we showed up there we were informed that the room was instead 189 a night and since we couldnt seem to pull up our reservation on email that was the rate we were stuck with. Once we got our room key and went to the room we found that they had given us someone elses room… which was also extremely small. Once we went down to the front desk to tell them that we wanted a refund the lady told us that she was the manager and would take care of it and gave us her name and number if we didnt recieve our refund in 7 – 10 business days. What she didnt realize is that she either was wearing the wrong name tape or she gave us a completely wrong name and number when I called the number I got someone who had never worked at the hotel. I was so extremely angry and couldnt believe what had just happened to us. I called corporate but have not heard back from anyone since.

The wife and I stayed here as an alternative to taking a redeye flight through ATL. Since I stay at Carlson hotels quite a lot(over 350K loyalty points in 2 years) I decided to cash in some points and get the room for free. In spite of this, the hotel manager put us in the best room available after telling us she would have upgraded us but had no big suites available. I was really surprised to find a handwritten welcome note and a small bag of snacks when we got to the room. This level of treatment, particularly when staying for free, was completely unprecedented and unexpected. The room was clean and well-enough lit with all of the lights on. The bathroom seemed a little spartan but all the amenities were there plus plenty of clean towels. I realized what made the bathroom seem so empty is that the ice bucket and cups that you might expect to find there were instead on top of the mini-fridge. The A/C worked well and it was quiet, but because it is the through-the-wall type it did let in a lot of traffic noise. My wife and I are very light sleepers so we found it difficult to stay asleep, though firing up a white noise generation app on my iPad helped mask a lot of it. Earplugs would have been more helpful. Since it was the Saturday after Christmas and we had an 8:33 am flight out of ATL we didn’t get to spend much time enjoying breakfast, which they start serving at 7:00 am. The little bit we did have was good though they were out of a lot of things after the initial opening rush. My second complaint(the first being the noise) is that the ladies that would staff the front desk were in the dining area trying to refill juices and other things so it took a while to check out. Aside from the dodgy neighborhood(it seemed decent enough at the hotel) and the freeway noise, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My favorite place to stay! Always clean and the staff is very friendly. The complimentary breakfast always hits the spot. Right across from Turner Field and the Bullpen, which has awesome wings and cold beer!

Cheap hotel. Probably a good option if you are going to the baseball game. Its located 10 minutes from the Aquarium and not in a good neighborhood. The staff has helpful and easygoing but the hotel is kind of old. Is an option if you only need it to sleep. The big surprise: the breakfast was really good. The best coffee in our road trip.

I found this hotel on for $ 50(down from $ 109) and then went to the Country Inn and Suites website and used their price match policy to book it through then AND got another 25% off which came out to about $ 42 a night when my parents came into town. The staff was really nice, and room was just remodeled and had a fridge, microwave and large plasma as well as a nice free breakfast every morning. I will defiantly book it again when they come back in town.
