Coney & Minter International Medicine PC

I had a very good experience at the Coney & Minter doctors’ office. It’s kind of ironic that my situation did not start out good. Days before my appointment I spoke with the receptionist and she confirmed that I should make my appointment through Zoc Doc, but it never came through. When I arrived at the office for my appointment the same receptionist said, «Oh I remember you from the phone but your appointment never came through.» I was of course disappointed a little worried but the receptionist went to the back to check with the nurse came up to the front and told me that they be able to slip me in. I really appreciated her customer service and the flexibility of the office.
Once I got back into the doctor’s office, the assistant was very friendly and sweet and told me what she was doing as she was doing it so there weren’t any surprises. Dr. Minter himself was also very kind and friendly. He had a great bedside manner. I had read his profile on Zoc Doc, and he seemed to care a lot about the body as a whole and about not just throwing medication and people. This showed through in my examination when he told me his diagnosis. I appreciated how he asked about other aspects about my overall health and checked on if I was exercising enough and stuff like that.
The aesthetics of the office are seriously lacking, which tends to make it a very sterile and unfriendly atmosphere, but the folks are friendly enough and they seem to know their stuff.

Horrible service. Front desk lady was rude and could not do more than 1 thing at a time w/​o being overwhelmed. Waited 45 mins to be called although I arrived to my app ahead of time. Once inside I still had to wait for another 10 mins to be seen. There was nobody in the office but me and 1 more patient. Staff are foreigners and wherever they come from obviously they grew up with no manners whatsoever. Avoid this place. I know I will at all cost.

Kathy Minter has been my primary care physician for years and I highly recommend her small practice. «The best medicine is the least medicine» is probably a good phrase to describe her approach to health care.
