This place gives Coldstone a bad name. The workers were unpleasant, the credit card machines were down, the place was sloppy and a serious health hazard. I love Coldstone but I’d never go to this location again.

We have been to this location many times but this last visit will probably be our last. We promised the kids ice cream so they ordered but my husband and I decided not to get any and here is why. First, before walking in, the outside was a mess, then the signs on the door said cash only credit machine down. Luckily we had some cash with us. Once inside the store, it smelled of sour mop water, the walls and floors where dirty, trash behind the counter was over flowing and a cart with someone’s hoodie was right behind the prep station. The three staff members looked tired and not very happy to be there. Wish this place had stayed as a Ben and Jerries. We would have gone to Brusters had it been open.

I love Cold Stone Creamery and was disappointed that the Atlantic Station location shut down. Now the closest one to me is the Vinings location. I used to enjoy coming to this location even though it’s always crowded. Well today, I walk in and two employees were horsing around and simply did not acknowledge my presence. The female ran to the back then came out and stared at me as if I interrupted their love fest. I noticed the credit card machines were down and sheets were posted soI inquired where was the closest ATM. She stated their credit cards machines have been down for a week and to go to Quiktrip. I went to Quiktrip and another young lady served me with an attitude. This location appears to be run down, the waffle cones were too light and these employees didn’t appear to want to work, only play around. No hairnets worn and this location is not appealing as the other locations I’ve frequented. I’m very disappointed in the management of this location.

I was very happy with this Cold Stone. I have a severe peanut allergy and every single time I go, the person who makes my ice cream is great! They go to the back and scoop out some ice cream from a new batch, they also use new scoopers, new toppings and mix it all in it’s own tub. I really appreciate that because a lot of places don’t go out of there way for that kind of customer service with my allergy. Sometimes the line can be long, but the wait is worth it! Thank you to the workers there that help me have an enjoyable experience!

Consistently disappointed… No one is smiling or happy to be there. Been to many a Coldstone Creamery and have never seen anything like this. Never enough staff, always out of popular flavors — today cake batter and vanilla. Have felt uncomfortable giving my order because I feel like I’m doing something wrong based on how the person behind the counter is looking at me.
2) experience 1: Don’t wait until the line is out the door and wait until I’ve been in line 30 minutes to tell me the freezer is broken when I heard you talking about it when I walked in. Didn’t know how bad it was till we got to the ice cream display and saw ice cream melting everywhere (Health hazard) and only 3 flavors left available.
3) experience 2: I asked for yellow cake, graham cracker crust, and walnuts as toppings. You ask if that’s all, I say yes. Yet you forget the walnuts.
If there were a different location within 5 miles of my home vs down the road like this one, I’d opt for the longer commute.

WHO OWNS AND MANAGES THIS STORE? Absolutely disgusting and filthy! I cannot believe a place Ike this exists in the Vinings!!! The staff are clueless and don’t care about presentation of your ice cream! I cannot wait to contact home office on this one!

Worst Cold Stone location I have ever seen. Least maintenance, Very poor stone mixing of ice cream. Spoiling the brand name. Homemade small local brands is far better than this location. Even the service was poor.

This is one of the worst Coldstones I have been to yet. There outside area is dirty and tables/​chairs strewn about. There was a huge puddle of water one the order line with a wet sign but no indication of anyone cleaning it up anytime soon. If I was the franchise owner, I would be appalled. Ice cram was mediocre.

This review will be kept short. I found a piece of hair in my birthday cake remix today. The service was OK as the ice cream assistant accidentally put caramel in the ice cream which didn’t call for it… I was totally fine with the caramel accident but when I got home and started eating it, I found a long BLONDE piece of hair in my ice cream. Accidents happen, but this is quite disgusting. This is why people should wear hairnets. I will not likely eat ice cream in the near future. The pictures attached don’t do my disgust any justice.

Such accurate 2.5 rating on Unilocal right now. Went very excitedly here, craving for ice cream. It just wasn’t up to the mark, there are just many better options out there. We tried chocolate ice cream with brownie mixed in… simple and classic, but I guess it was too much to handle for the creamery.

I love cold stone, always have! I like getting ice cream with yellow cake mixed inside. They had oreo cookie cream ice cream which was awesome. Highly recommend that. I gave 4 stars because even the smallest size is $ 5. I really think they could do better on prices. However, service is usually great and my husband had a frappé drink which he really liked.

We just moved to Vinings and went to here last night. I don’t eat out a lot because I am celiac and there is always a chance of cross-​contamination. I discussed this with Tori and she was so considerate of my allergies. She checked the nutrition book first to make sure the item I wanted was Gluten Free. Next she got a clean container and clean tools for me and opened new box of ice-​cream, almonds, cream and strawberries to make sure there is no cross-​contamination. I couldn’t thank her enough for going through so much trouble for me, nobody does that these days! Tori is amazing and a true professional. I will definitely be back.

I have been to many ColdStone Creamery locations. This one is, by far, the most understaffed and sloppy of any I have seen. All of the waffle bowls were burnt, no waffle cones, a mess on the floor behind the counter and puddles of water in front. The counter was covered with discarded mix in bits and dried ice cream. To top it all off, one of the workers would use his t-​shirt that was already dirty, as a towel after washing his hands. They were very polite, but I could tell they were overwhelmed. The other worker with the red shirt was very nice and polite. I would suggest picking a different establishment until they can clean up their act. :-(

There is no doubt that their ice cream is the best, the line was out the door. I feel like I had a huge serving of ice cream where as usually some ice cream shops are stingy with the scoops lol. I had whipped cream ice cream with sprinkles in a cup and a cone on top! Delicious the prices were not bad either, for a family of three I believe we payed about $ 9.50.

I have lived in this area for a long time and been a loyal customer and so I was shocked to come in tonight and see what I saw at Cold Stone. The entire store was a complete mess. Absolutely disgusting. The marble counter where they make our ice cream was filthy, toppings everywhere. It seemed like none of the employees cared to keep up the cleanliness of the establishment. You could see in the back counter burnt waffle cones in piles everywhere.
When the young man was making my ice cream he put his bare hand on one of my toppings which was absolutely uncalled for and disgusting.
I went outside to sit down and I couldn’t even sit down because there was Ice Cream spilt everywhere. My overall impression is the quality of the ice cream is still amazing but the cleanliness and service is HORRIBLE. I would definitely go somewhere else.
