This is my least favorite Chick-fil-A and the only reason I eat here is because I can charge my car outside at the Sears Auto Center. If and when they close Sears and replace it with Kroger I definitely won’t have a reason to come inside and eat here. I assumed CFA had some sort of agreement with Heinz to stock those awesome dippable ketchup packets. Apparently this location didn’t get the memo because they only seem to stock regular packets. Such a let down, especially once you get used to dipping waffle fries(and Chick-fil-A sandwiches). They usually only have one or 2 people working the counter. I’d argue that this is one of the most popular places in the food court, so I expect more people to assist the crowds. At any other location there are people waiting to wait on you.

This is the first time I got a not-overly-pleasant service from Chick Fil A. The woman who took my order seemed curt and impatient. When I said, «thank you» to her, she didn’t even say, «my pleasure.» Just for that I’m going to dock a star. I though these franchises need to stay consistent with their customer service. And one of the reason to go to Chick Fil A is to get pleasant service. Otherwise, I can just go to any other fast food restaurant. They’re also stingy with their napkins. First, I didn’t even get any. Then when I asked for some, she gave me 2. They also hide their ketchup too. They give you just enough for your fries. Maybe this location has problems with people stealing napkins and ketchup. This place gets busy at around 12PM. But all Chick Fil A’s do during lunch hours. If you get tired of waiting, at least you have a ton of other choices.

As part of my support for the Chick-fil-A company to spend its money anyway it like, I took part in the Customer Appreciation Day. This location is inside Cumberland Mall, and has 3 cashier stand. Each one was being manned. I couldn’t believe the lines that was here this day. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many people in Cumberland Mall at one time, let alone at one place in the food court. Okay, that’s an exaggeration, but there were a lot of people here. Each employee gave service with a smile, even though you could tell they were most likely understaffed for the amount of people that we bombarding the CFA’s this particular day to show there support for the chain. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten at the Food Court in Cumberland before. I was just glad to have a place to Eat Mor Chicken, and do it in the company of others that felt the same way.

I don’t know how many combos they have because I just order the #1 with a Coke zero and pull forward. Very few sandwiches are as good as the original Chick-Fil-A and for some reason this location makes the best one. It is always nice and well done with just the right amount of breading. This is a drive thru only location, they do have a few outdoor tables if you want to park and go up to the window. You can always count on the VERY friendly service with a smile. BTW I like the new ketchup packets. great idea.

We don’t have these in the SF/Bay area and when I am in Atlanta I love to stop off and get their tender chicken morsels. The spices are great and are moist. I am tossed between their ranch and buffalo dipping sauce. I loved their chick fil a antenna topper too! Their cow icon cracks me up! Upstair heading towards Sears at the Cumberland Mall.
