Checkers

I have lived in my neighborhood for almost 8 years and can count the number of times Ive been to this Checkers on one hand.
Many years ago, at a Checkers in Decatur, I had to throw a milkshake at the lady working the drive through because she was way too fly at the mouth to be a drive through worker and giving horrible service, so I sorta vowed then that I would not eat a Checkers again.
Since that time, I’ve probably only been to a handful of Checkers in the last 15+ years. Probably longer since my kids were still in elementary school then, and they are both now in their late twenties.
I rolled into the drive thorough about 3am after a night of drinking with some people for their birthday knowing that my normal 3 in the morning snack of grapes and cheese or a small bowl of cereal were not going to hold down 5 Jack Daniels honey shots, and Jack Daniels honey with strawberry nectar, and two Ciroc and cranberry juice.
I ordered the chicken sandwich combo with fries and tea. The fries were a gift from heaven as they were hot and fresh. The chicken sandwich not so much but I was able to eat half of it for some substance and by the time I woke up the next afternoon the tea was a mixture of paper cup, melted ice and tea.
Open 10am — 5pm and sits adjacent to the Greenbriar Mall parking lot.

omg i love this place. there burgers are so flavorful.
