I had two hours and a 20 minute delay until my next flight so why not get something to eat? I decided to stop here because there was a line and I was curious. The gentleman taking the orders was moving at light speed. The fries were prepared right in front of me. The lady didn’t salt them or anything! They were hot but they were so bland! The lady calling the numbers for the philly cheesesteak was upset at the moment because she was calling somebody’s number and they didn’t even claim the sandwich! It was also holding up the line. They just gave it to the next person(I wish I was the next person, lol). Once I got my sandwich, I headed to my designated gate. The sandwich was piping hot! It was actually not that bad. I felt it needed a little salt. The bread was soft, meat was a nice texture and it needed more than one piece of tomato. I understand there was a line, but don’t throw a sandwich together. Overall the staff was friendly and they just wanted to get the customers in and out of there. Two philly cheesesteaks deluxe, one order of fries and a bottled water were 17 bucks. Eh? Airport food and prices. What are you going to do?

What can you expect from airport food? It was bland, but did the job. Also took a sizeable chunk out of my wallet… of course.

i was on a connection flight at the atlanta airport, my wife and i stopped to eat at Charleys. It was fairly busy 7 – 10 people in line(constant). The food was ready quicker than i thought, and tasting perfect for the time we had. I however have never experienced such POOR customer relations. There were 2 girls behind the counter(Q. riddick and shawn) They were absolutly obnoxious with there attitudes and comments towards customers. If there was a manager present at the time, they should be ashamed for letting this go on. I have never seen people(including myself) feel like a burden to this establishment. There were Asian, white, black, military, hispanic, all treated the same way. Ms. Riddick thought it was cute to ask the girl at the other register if it was«international non english day or if people were just stupid». Asked us as a group if we were not taught how to form a proper line. I was offended as was every one else sitting in chatter at their tables. Not only was this the worst i have ever seen grown women act, but also embarresing to me as an American in front people visiting from other countries and states. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Call me a sucker but when the aroma of meat and cheese is permeating, I’m drawn like a moth to a flame. I stopped here after three… yes three gates changes @ the ATL airport and it looked like terminal B would be my temporary home until take off. There was a small line and I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and was on my merry way. Them asking me if I wanted lettuce & tomato threw me off b. c cmon, ew. So I loaded it up with Franks Red Hot(because I do put that s*it on everything) and snarfed it down in a few minutes. I was just praying that i didn’t have any leftover cheese on my face because I didn’t want to be that girl on the plane and you know what? There was none=success.

Fast food but each sandwich made to order hot and fresh. Pricey but it is at the airport. Good size sandwich average quality.

Had breakfast. The picture shows a wonderful bacon, egg & cheese w/fresh tomato and lettuce. The actual sandwich was missing the lettuce and tomato, apparently you have to ask for it. The sandwich was ok, yet not worth $ 5. The service was fair, not great yet not bad. I will choose something else next time.

I was surprised at how decent this was, given the fact I was in the middle of an airport. It was so tasty, I thought I’d take my 8″ chicken cheesesteak bullet and eat half before my flight, and half later. I, um, wolfed the whole thing down in about 2 minutes flat. Everything is made to order, and the ingredients are fresh and never sub-par. It’s typical fast-food airport style, meaning you select and pay at the front, and then tote your tray down the line until your food shows up on it. The service is fast, and while the staff all seems to be good friends and chatty with one another, if you just hover for awhile they’ll take good care of you with a smile.

For airport food, this was not bad at all. Eric and I shared a club sub with turkey, ham and bacon. All the meat was grilled and the bread was fresh and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The meats were grilled and the veggie toppings were surprising crisp, fresh and generous. We had the french fries with cheese sauce, bacon and ranch and while I think I probably ate a weeks worth of calories with those alone, they were delicious. I thought the service was very friendly and quick but I tend to think service down South is very friendly even when others don’t think so… must be because I am a New Yorker :)

I was drawn by the Philly Cheesesteak offering cause I know that the chicken cheesesteak isn’t far behind, so I played beast and went in. Staff was basic… you know when there’s people who love there job or fake it good enough and there’s some that just look down and just do the basics… well again, they were strictly basic. The water they sold wasn’t cold, as a matter of fact, they had no ice in the little box type of area where the cold beverages were supposed to be so that scored negative points cause ATL is hot as hell in general. The Chicken Cheesesteak sub but a decent size. Wasn’t a fan of the chicken they used… seemed a bit dry and generic but everything was somewhat ok. If you asked me to come here again, I’d turn my face and just walk away… it just didn’t fair right with me, even in starving mode.

This is for the Charley’s on Concourse B. I spent all my time partaking of free libations in the Crown Room while waiting for my delayed flight to board and on my way to the gate I realized that I probably ought to eat some food to counterbalance the alcohol’s effect(particularly since I had scored an upgrade and fully expected the cocktails to keep flowing). Charley’s was on my way and it looked like it might be pretty quick so I stopped in to get a chicken cheese-steak sandwich. The staff was actually pretty friendly and the prices not too outrageous, and it was, indeed, very quick. The sandwich was pretty big(more than I should have eaten all by myself but, anyway). I requested no mayonnaise and they did hold the mayo but the sandwich was very dry. I am used to chicken cheese-steak sandwiches not needing mayo to be moist — usually the cheese, peppers and onions keep it from drying out. So, the sandwich was a little dry but it was tasty enough and it satisfied my need for food. And, even though dry without the mayo, it didn’t seem like it was that bad for me. I would return — I think it is better than many of the other airport options.
