Came in here after a long drive from New Orleans on Thursday. It’s a grocery store with small restaurant on the side. When we walked in, it was almost closing time because the two people behind the counter were cleaning up and putting things away. In my best attempt at Spanish we ordered a chicken taco, pork(pastor) taco and I requested a nopal(cactus) taco. The woman asked the cook and they both said they didn’t have it. Then she told me to wait a moment, went to the freezer and brought out another type of cactus, asked me for my approval and gave it to the cook. She asked if we wanted rice and beans and we said beans. When our food came out we had the 3 tacos as well as beans and rice. Lost in translation. The chicken was very well marinated and had a smoky/garlicky flavor but unfortunately it was overdone. Pork was decent, flavorful but a bit salty for me. The cactus taco was just average. The beans and rice were phenomenal, both of us couldn’t get enough. The beans were creamy, rich and full of lard(probably). The rice is exactly what Mexican rice should taste like, each grain cooked and seasoned perfectly. We agreed tacos are not a good choice for this restaurant; based on others’ reviews I will go back to try the enchiladas and those amazing rice and beans! Lovely people providing great service and serving home cooked dishes.

Most incredible chicken mole enchiladas(very mild) paired with awesome steak enchiladas Verde(green/spicy) was a very beautiful thing! Not much English at counter and wipe your own table, but go for the food and the genuine 3rd world experience and shop the market while your there, especially the meat counter.

Best enchiladas I’ve ever eaten. This place is inside a supermarket. The cashier does know English and the main menu is mostly in English, but the majority of patrons are Mexican, and some dishes have Spanish names. You’ll find the«basics» that you’d find in a typical Americanized Mexican restaurant but also things like cheek and tongue tacos.

Love it. Store has everything I would consider shopping for with authentic Mexican brands and flavors. The restaurant in the back is very good and priced well. Candies are the best for bags of 20 – 100 pieces. Could be cleaner. Wipe the tables between customers and cover salsa. They will speak Spanish and English.

We seriously enjoyed it here. We got three different types of taco and one gargantuan(and incredibly delicious) burrito de pollo. It doesn’t matter if you can understand the menu because whatever you get is going to be delicious. It’s all perfectly seasoned with a nice amount of spice and various condiments if you like it hotter. The service is quick and friendly and the value for money is awesome. It is inside a grocery so the ambiance isn’t amazing but the food is so good we will definitely be back.

A hole-in-the-wall like any good taqueria should be. I had tongue and pork tacos. They were not bad but I definitely have had much better tacos. It’s cool they have Mexican Coke. I’ve had some other tacos in Atlanta and after a few tries, I’m still searching for a great taco experience in this city…

I found this place through Unilocal and wouldn’t you know it… the food is excellent! I love authentic Mexican. No TexMex for me! I wish I had a photo to post but ummm… my phone was dead and I couldn’t wait! I ordered Flautas de Pollo(Chicken) and an Empanada de Asada(Steak). The grocery store was neat, but I was on a mission to find the resturant located in the back of the store. I would suggest going earlier than I did(7pm) because they were out of rice and I eat rice with EVERTYTHING. Lol. Still, I am more than satisfied and I can’t wait for another craving to hit. Honestly, I enjoyed the Empanada and I will be getting it again. Two of those, rice and beans… you should be good. The Flautas de Pollo was good(they give you six!) and I love how everything comes loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, sour cream and avacado. I would suggest their smaller dishes like chicken Sopas, Empanadas… etc… You’ll get to try different things and nothing is over $ 2.99. I don’t know how much Spanish you need to know, but we seemed to work through the language barrier quite easily. Then again I wasn’t making modifications to my order. That said… I’m about to brush — up on my Español because this is now my spot!

I think I have found my new go to Mexican restaurant. Located off of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs is this Mexican grocery and restaurant. I have passed by this place for years and finally decided to stop in. The grocery store is amazing and there is a really good butcher in the back. I needed some Pork Belly and they were able to cut excataly how much I needed. Attaching a picture of their awesome burrito.

Cheap, authentic Mexican food in the tiny restaurant in the back of the grocery store. There is some seating. The ordering line goes by pretty quickly and food comes relatively quickly as well. There are a lot of protein option like pork, shrimp, etc. Verde enchilada with carne asada MASSIVE portion. Good for 2 meals. Verde sauce is spicy! Be careful if you’re not used to «Mexican spicy». Enchilada is just drenched in sauce, cheese, and gooey goodness. Shrimp quesadilla Smells good but fell short. The tortilla was way to thick for my liking. Shrimp was succulent though. I’d like to come back to try other items, specifically pork cheek and posole.

Please note: This review is only for the restaurant within the grocery store. I am so glad I discovered this place! I don’t know how I missed it for so long. At least I’ve finally righted that wrong. Better late than never. So the tacos have gone up in price since the last reviews that mentioned it. Tacos are $ 2 each. Which is not bad considering this is Roswell Road and not Buford Highway. And it’s still cheaper some other alleged taco joints in the area, who shall remain nameless. Anyway, the tacos are generously portioned. There is a ton of meat loaded onto those tortillas. Those delicious corn tortillas, of which they use two to a taco. They’ve got pretty good flavor so even if they’re not handmade, they’re certainly not Mission brand tortillas. As for the meat, I’ve tried the asada(steak), pastor(pork), and barbacoa(I can’t remember whether they use beef or goat here). My favorite by far was the barbacoa. All of the meat was well-flavored, but the barbacoa meat was especially tender and moist. The other two were definitely solid but perhaps not standout. The last time I was here, I got some enchiladas. They have different varieties of enchiladas– you’ll have to ask what they’ve got that day. I went with the verde(my other option was mole, of which I’m not a big fan) filled with beef. The enchiladas were pretty good, not amazing, but I’d have them again for sure. And again, HUGE portions. I actually had lunch for two days with that order. Service is friendly. I always get my order to-go and it usually takes about 10 minutes. Oh, almost forgot the horchata report: Definitely from a powder mix. Has a bit of a fake-y aftertaste but is not the worst I’ve had. I’ll continue to order it.

One of my favorite Grocery stores. Located in the same shopping center as aldi and cvs this place is always clean with friendly staff. The name is actually Carcenería los Pinos. They offer fresh produce at much cheaper prices that neighboring grocery stores. The selection is wide and well stocked. They also offer a variety of seasoned and non seasoned meat in the back of the store. The butchers speak spanglish so don’t feel intimidated if you don’t speak much Spanish. I pick up most of my spices here — it’s one lf the few places I’ve found dried chiles. I could go on forever about this place– the basics you need to know are: great location. Clean facility. Quality is great on all the products I’ve purchased from here. If you like to make Latin or ethnic style food this place will have everything you need. I’ve never actually eaten at the restaurant inside of the shop but it always seems to have a solid amount of people enjoying a meal. It’s definitely on my to do list.

Tacos Tacos Tacos. The Tacos were delicious very fresh and authentic. I also bought chorizo, chicken wings, and flank steaks from the butcher. All were fresh and very reasonably priced. Excellent place to purchase your proteins for a BBQ or a party. No complaints

Went here for a lunch on Friday with a colleague. It is a taqueria that is inside this supermarket. Pollo burrito was excellent. Very generous portion. My colleague got the pork cheek torta which he enjoyed. There are also a number of sauces that were quite spicy and tasty that can be sampled with your meal. This place is very authentic. We were the only non Hispanics eating there at that time. The place accepts all major credit cards. It is a great value with all menu items under $ 9 with large, tasty portions. Service is fairly quick too. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu!

Restaurant: super-friendly and helpful staff(although they speak veerrry little English. Delicious, flavorful, authentic, fresh, inexpensive, ample portions. This is one of our family’s favorite restaurants. Our favorite item-tostada-full meal for $ 2.49! Scrumptious! Try their three specialty drinks they make(they’ll let you sample them). The rice drink is our favorite – tastes like coconut, sooo good!

This is the a Small Latino supermarket located in Roswell rd between Aldi and Aarons. Prices on meat like steak can be a bargain at times. Produce is a hit and miss. I mainly come here for there in-store Taquería restaurant. This restaurant put Taco bell and Chipotle to shame with there tacos and the Burritos. Prices on the tacos range about 1.60 and there burritos are 5.75. They dont skim on the meat. The burritos have about 4x more meat than Moes, Taco bell and Chipotle. Cons. The staff is very limited in English. Knowing some or any Spanish is a huge plus. I had some coworkers who got the wrong order due to the language barrier.

Another hidden gem on Roswell rd. If our looking for Tex Mex forget it this is real deal for those of you looking for it. 3 Hermanos is a grocery store in Corner Stone Square selling veggies, meats and seafood etc. The restaurant, walk in and make a immediate right past the pastries the menu is on the wall above the booths . Beef or Chicken Sope’s — $ 2.50 each Fresh advacados, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Love them. Quesadilla’s — $ 3.99 Seriously are about the size of your head they start off with a large corn tortilla it is stuffed with plenty of meat, cheese, advacado and creama. Burritos — $ 4.99 Filled with tons of fresh meat and the kitchen sink if you want it. Two people could actually share one of these things, the burritos here seriously weight about 1 ½ lbs. Anyone dieting this is not for you the food here is simple, made to order, messy and totally worth every bite !
