Candycoated Nail Spa

I love this place!!! The service is awesome and the vibe is just so spectacular. Tia was so hospitable, the owner Candy was very welcoming and Blake and Tori are just as delightful. The services are well worth the prices and I’d recommend the candy coated pedicure to everyone! Love this salon!

This was my first time trying this place. Had an appointment for 10:00 a.m. but arrived about 10 mins early. The nail tech (Lacreasia) was not there yet which was okay. However, 30 mins later, she still wasn’t there. Finally, another tech comes and says Lacreasia will be here in about 15 mins…15 mins came and went and I finally left. You try to give people a try and support them and things like this happen… unprofessional and a total disregard for other people’s time. I wasn’t offered a bottle of water, a cookie, a tic tac, a piece of gum… nothing while I sat and waited for this tech that never showed up until AFTER I’d left. She then called me at 11:00 saying she didn’t know she had an appointment at 10 and could I come back… well I find that hard to believe when they (the spa) sent me a total of not one but TWO email reminders of my appointment and absolutely NOT I can not come back… you should’ve been there ON TIME and respected my time. Polish up (no pun intended) because first impressions are usually lasting impressions.

Me and my friend Jessica were traveling around the south from California and spontaneously decided to get our nails done. We popped by this place and were warmly greeted by the staff. The place was so clean and pretty and even though they were pretty full they squeezed us in for pedicures. They did a great job and were so nice and we left feeling so much positivity. Thanks for giving such a great experience!

Sadness. I love supporting young black businesses and try never to write negative feedback. I debated on going back and having them fix the nail job but considering all that I went through it simply isn’t worth it.
I found candy coated nails and spa on Instagram by typing #ATLnails. I liked the style of nails/​work that I saw, so I book an appointment. When I got to my appointment, I arrived 5 to 10 minutes early but had to wait 30 minutes after my actual appointment time to be seen. I actually asked if I should go home and come back.
Once I sat down I showed the nail technician a picture of the nails that I wanted and she agreed that she could do the job. Once she applied the tips she gave me a style of nail that I had not requested I pointed this out to her and showed her the picture again. All throughout the process I was asking for her to fix crooked nails. I finally got tired of saying something. I’m OCD about my nails being the same shape and same length. When I compared my nails to each other after leaving several of my nails are different lengths and two different shapes. One shape is the one I wanted and the other is the one she tried to give me.
As for nail polish, she placed a gel polish on my nails and they had to air dry. I’d never used gel but I thought they needed to sit under a lamp. There was a lamp in the room but doesn’t look like it’s being used.
I’m a teacher and at most pick up a pen to write. After a week of not doing much, my nails were getting dings and rubbing off. Even the next day there was evidence of dings.
The nail technician was very nice. Yhis was very modern and pleasant environment. But I’m pretty sure I won’t be back.
There’s a small staff and they stay booked so maybe this was just one of those bad situations.

When I tell you I am super satisfied, I AM!!! If you are looking for a nail spa that really does take pride in its work… this is the place. Tori was my stylist and yes I said stylist because she made a miracle out of my nails. I decided to divorce my gel acrylics and make friends with my natural nails. She took her time and she was able to preserve my natural nail and she didnt drill them to oblivion and take off the first two layers of nail as I’ve experienced from other places. Her customer service was excellent her work was impeccable. Book your appointment now!

This nail salon is a GEM! I’ve never been disappointed with their service or atmosphere. I’ve been going to this salon for almost a year now (I wanted to make sure their continuously gave good service), and they are AMAZING. I see Tori, but you won’t be disappointed with any of the nail technicians.

This is the best nail salon ever! All of the nail techs are passionate about their craft and the atmosphere is like hanging out with your girlfriends. I always get compliments on my nails!!!

Very nicely decorated nail spa and so different from other nail places I’ve been around Atlanta. They have such a large selection of nail colors and the ladies that work there are very friendly. They are little on the pricey side for what you get, but I figured since it was a part of a «Me Day» Why not?! lol. I received a Gel Manicure/​fill-​in and pedicure with paraffin wax.
My time there started with a pedicure that included the paraffin wax. First I was seated at one of the pedicure stations which was so cute (white with pops of orange and turquoise everywhere). My feet were soaked in some pretty hot water but it was quickly adjusted after I mentioned it was too hot. After soaking and the nail polish was removed, I was expecting the pedicure to continue. Wrong. We went over to the manicure table and she started on my fill in with the gel polish. She definitely gets 10 stars for her customer service and overall friendliness. However, once the manicure and fill in was done we went BACK to the pedicure station to continue my pedicure. A little confused, I went along with it and tried not to let that take from the experience. My feet were put into plastic bags that had some pretty hot wax in it (maybe I’m just super sensitive to hot stuff idk!) and I did feel a bit uncomfortable with the temp. Once that was over, she continued the pedicure and my feet looked… ok. For some reason, later as the polish dried, the color was not evenly distributed as originally thought in the nail spa’s lighting. Maybe it was the polish? Either way I’ve never experienced that before and ended up going elsewhere for a polish change.
I would love to have given more stars but it just took SO long. I got there around 5:30ish and didn’t leave until almost 8pm!
