The food was ok, but the service was good. Nothing special about this place. Will try another restaurant next time

Coffee was good … Food good but service was average. I would definitely come back while waiting on a flight and choose this over Starbucks. The atmosphere is great and the server could have made it better. She served my creamer in a tacky glass/cup and wasn’t friendly. She was very rushed.

Chicken quesadilla was decent, but my glass was dirty and the man in front of me also complained that his silverware was dirty as well.(I saw it and it definitely was). Probably won’t be back.

Ordered the quesadillas and they had a hair in them. My coworker ordered the back bean burger and she said she liked it. Probably won’t be back.

I unfortunately have to dock them a star because the dinner that I ate last night caused me to have a reaction, and the staff that I checked with, while friendly, did not know how to properly check to make sure this wouldn’t happen. While I’ve eaten here many times during my travels, I am hesitent to do so again now because of this. Their coffee beverages are still good, albeit at the inflated price you’d expect in an airport.

What a horrible take-out experience in terminal B this café intermezzo is very friendly when it comes to staffing however, the portions are super skimpy and small I ordered a jambalaya soup and a side of vegetable medley with a bottle of diet Pepsi $ 15 later I got 4.5 halted zucchini shavings and a bowl of soup that was one third full;shame on you café intermezzo! Never again!!!

The service here has really taken a turn for the worse. Still a great location, good people watching, café-and-bookstore-had-a-love child place. They are scheduled to open at 6:00AM, so if your flight gets in earlier than that be aware that(a) you’ll have to wait and(b) schedules are really just suggestions. All of that aside, I really do like this place. The food is not bad, I can relax, have a decent coffee or glass of wine, read in peace and here conversations in at least two languages other than goode olde English!

I very much enjoyed my experience! I didn’t realize it initially, but I’ve eaten at their Midtown Atlanta location about a year ago — also fantastic. Great food, great service and a Real treat to experience in between flights! Thanks to everyone at the restaurant!

I had a super long lay over in Atlanta on my way back to Fort Worth. Once I landed I was walking through the terminal looking for a place to eat. I came across Café Intermezzo and after checking out their menu decided to give it a try. It is expensive, but honestly I think that’s to be expected in the airport. Anyways, I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio to start off with, it was a decent glass of wine, nothing over the top special. I ordered the spicy cheese tortellini and added shrimp to the pasta dish, I also ordered a side salad. My waiter was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. My food arrive quickly the pasta was rich but not the least bit spicy, it was still very good. My salad with balsamic was fresh and tasty. I was able to enjoy my meal and read my book with out feeling rushed in the wonderful book store like atmosphere.

I tend to be drawn to this place whenever I have a layover in ATL, even if it’s not in the same concourse as I am. The setting for the most part makes you forget you are in an airport. Surrounded by what looks to be a book store, it has a nice feel to it. Service is always decent but tonight it was strange. The staff seemed to be «playing around» a lot. I am all for having fun but this seemed kinda excessive. My waiter was spot on and the food was good albeit a tad pricey(but then again, everything in an airport is expensive). I will come back here if I have time.

I travel a bit for work during peak times and actually stumbled upon this spot during a personal trip. I had an unexpected 3 hour layover in Atlanta so I had a bit of time to actually sit down and eat(usually I’m running to catch my flight). Alone, I was seated by the window and watched the southwest planes arrive and depart. Great view! I did not feel weird alone as about half the restaurant were solo diners. I ordered the spinach salad which had strawberries and mangos and some awesome fried goat cheese medallions. I added salmon for some protein. Excellent salad — totally fresh and nowhere near airport food. Felt extremely healthy! Apparently the place is known for desserts so I indulged and ordered Nutella banana and strawberry crepes off the menu as I couldn’t decide between the 2 fruits. Amazing!!! Definitely check this spot out — it has great healthy food options and you forget you’re in the airport!

A classy airport restaurant with decent food selections, more famous for deserts from what i saw. I ordered salmon dish which came with jasmine rice and salad. First bite of the fish did not impress me but when i started having mixing with salad and rice together they blended real good. But for the $ 22 price tag i would expect a big portion size.

Second time here for lunch and ordered the lasagna. Surprisingly good. The noodles were a little softer than I like, but the dish itself was good. Was a little disappointed that it did not come with any bread or a side salad, both extra. I’ve had breakfast here twice and now lunch and overall I’d like to keep stopping in and trying out different items each time. Still want to try out the non airport location, maybe next time I have a long layover

For an airport eatery, Café Intermezzo really raises the bar. The last time I was traveling through Hartsfield Jackson, it was holiday-time(Turkey Day), and the last thing I wanted to do was get there late and miss my flight due to extra passenger congestion, so we left home extra early, breezed through security(as is often the case at this airport), and were left with a couple of hours before our flights. So what to do? Go have a coffee and a sweet before flying out at 8PM, that’s what. My fiancé was flying as well(different destinations, but similar flight times), so we headed over to Café Intermezzo for a snack. The neat thing about this airport set up, is that the restaurant’s located inside a working book store, so we were seated near the Fantasy section of the book store, and he actually could have reached behind him and pulled a copy of Game of Thrones right off the shelf from our table. The menu looks just as extensive as the Cafes in town — tons of coffee concoctions, loads of delicious sounding cakes and tortes and some actual food(but who cares about that with cake and coffee on the menu?). After taking it all in, we both ordered Café Intermezzo lattes(lattes with sliced almonds, cinnamon and cocoa powder) and a slice of the seven layer chocolate torte, at our waiter’s suggestion(it was his favorite). And holy moly, what a combo! The cake turned out to be just a little too rich for us to finish, but it was still throughly enjoyable and the coffee was very good as well — almonds was an interesting addition to the latte. The best part was our waiter was efficient in getting our order, getting it to the table and getting our bill taken care of as well. So even though we were a little pressed for time(I always like to get to my gate before boarding starts), we had a nice, leisurely little break in Café Intermezzo before the holiday craziness set in. P. S. Order decaf if you want to sleep at a decent time — I gained an hour and stayed up late catching up with my folks that night, but if you have to get up early the next morning, I’d advise against a full strength latte at 6:30 at night.

We ate here by recommdation of family who flew through ATL the day before. This café is a restorative oasis from the usual airport buzz. The feel is that of stepping in off the street into a European bookstore and café. The lighting is slightly dim and music calm and classical. Service is efficient and friendly, coffee is strong and the food decent. I had the eggs benedict, minus the ham, substituted steamed spinach in place of potatos. I also noted several gluten-free options on the menu for those of you who are GF. This is a delightful option to the usual airport food court especially when decompressing from a red-eye and gearing up for the next leg of your trip. I will be back next time I fly through ATL.

The 5 stars is purely for the desserts. I dropped by and got some berry pie and chocolate cake to go. They kept nicely and were delicious when I ate them the next day. The lady behind the counter was nice. Seems that this Café Intermezzo is set on being as slow all their other locations… keep that in mind if you’re in a time crunch.

Darted from Concourse T to Concourse B on the train with just a few minutes to spare before boarding my flight because I wanted to get my hands on an iced non fat latte and a slice of cake. Quick, friendly To-Go service counter. My latte was smooth and provided me with the pick me up I was lookin for. I asked for suggestions on cake and opted for the black and white. It was delish. Cake on a plane is surely a sweet way to go. The Café itself is the perfect place to pass time if you’re at ATL for awhile.

We had a 5+ hour layover in ATL and wound up having a relatively quiet and class meal at Café Intermezzo. Like others have noted, it’s set up a like European bistro mixed with a book store, white table clothes and all. I had the an avocado salad and a 20 oz. Sweetwater 420 pale ale. The beer was fantastic. The meal, for whatever reason, took forever to come out. Luckily we were in no hurry and were happy to get out of the main corridor of Terminal B. The salad had mixed greens, avocado and dices tomatoes and cucumbers and a fantastic orange vinaigrette on the side. Not bad at all for airport food.

A couple issues. First the spicy tortellini Alfredo had good flavor, but it was the smallest portion ever for $ 11.50. Im not looking for the hungry-man size, but more than maybe 1 cup of tortellini for that price! presentation is awful, half the container is empty. Then they give you a magazine bag to carry it in, so there is no way it doesn’t end up on its side, luckily the lid was on tight, so I didn’t have a mess on my hands.

I gave this restaurant one star because I like the ambiance and the view. There are book shelves floor to ceiling lining one of the walls. Another wall has huge glass windows with a view of the runway. They also have outlets to charge your electronics on columns in the center of the restaurant. Ok, here is the unfortunate side. Firstly, the server was inattentive and unfriendly. A smile goes a long way. Service was slow and this is an airport, every customer is on a tight schedule. They need to bring in more servers .the other issue was that my food was too salty and it tasted so Liar to a reheated frozen lasagna. It didn’t taste house made. It was soupy with rubbery cheese and noodles. Then to top it off it wAs expensive at $ 16.00 for a small piece of not very good lasagna.
