I slowly eased my way back to them, but I am out again. The debit card surcharge went away(or they did a better job at hiding it and spreading it out to everyone). I have been appreciative of the mint lemonade for a very long time. I would get a large in the morning and come back for a refill at some point in the day. I have been accused of lying about getting a refill on lemonade by the cashier at least 3 times in the last month. First of all, her memory sucks. I do not get anything different when I go there. I always get scrambled eggs, bacon and 2 slices of toast. My preference is always white toast, they never have it, so I settle on wheat. I always get butter and mixed fruit jelly. And a large cucumber mint lemonade. I do not know what anything else tastes like, never had it. If I went over my debit card history, one would find that I used to go there an insane amount of times. Now, with that being said — she STILL almost messes up my order on a regular basis. I tell her what I want. Sausage? No, bacon. Croissant. No, toast. One slice. No, 2. You get the point. So, if she can not remember what I JUST said to her 30 seconds ago, HOW does she think that she can remember if I was there earlier that morning or not? And, she is not the only one who works there… sometimes, someone else decides to come out to help from time to time. Yesterday, I went there for the first time in a week or two. They finally had another guy helping who ended up ringing me up. I noticed her come from out of the back to go to help prepare food as I was checking out. When I went back for my refill, she tried to charge me for a refill. I decided that I wasn’t taking it anymore, I told her that if she was going to continue to accuse me of stealing lemonade that is under $ 2 per cup, they were going to lose a pretty loyal customer. This morning, I returned for the half off breakfast time. I ordered my usual. I could see that there was no white toast, I asked for wheat. What is that you say? No wheat toast? You know what? Keep it. I am not stupid. You are in the business of selling sandwiches, so you mean to tell me that you don’t have white OR wheat toast to start serving lunch in about an hour? Get it together, but you will do it without my cash going forward. And, I mean it this time! Maybe I will see what you have going on after my maternity leave is over in a few months, but I doubt it… Oh, and try to go to their website to send a concern to management. Apparently, they had a Vistaprint website that is no longer managed.

It’s just okay. I haven’t tried the sandwiches. The salmon and veggies are just OK. They have flavor, it’s just not that good of a flavor. Of course, good flavor is a matter if taste, so you may love it. The Dill Cucumber Salad is exactly what it sounds like: some dill(no enough), some cucumber, some lettuce, and a small amount of tasteless dressing. The Waldorf salad is quite good with a hint of something very tasty, perhaps cinnamon, nutmeg, or brown sugar. The staff is friendly. The prices are in line with the other restaurants in this food court… Or perhaps $ 1 higher.

Paris Bistro is now Café Cubism. Not sure what that means exactly, but the prices have gone up and the food is about the same. The gyro is still there, so I’m still happy. See you there!
