I spent almost 400 on clothing for my trip to San Francisco last fall and came back to the store with a pair of black pants purchased for 80 dollars that ripped in the very back after wearing them for literally 5 minutes, tag still attached… The associate took the pants back away from the register to ask her manager. I was with a friend of mine at the time who kept telling me that I needed to lie and say that I had bought them that way initially and not noticed; but I work in small business and don’t believe in that. I was upfront about the situation and the fact that I wore them in my hotel room for under 5 minutes but not left the room with them on. They came back and said that I because I had worn them, they would not exchange or return even with the tags on. They would never ever do that at BCBG at Lenox. They then started kissing my friends ass about her YSL bag. What a joke.

This is not a stand alone store but it’s the bcbg department inside of Dillard’s. They always have super cute apparel but you will pay dearly for it so wait on the sales, otherwise find an outlet store for better prices.

Not happy. Still on the quest to find denim leggings for the Lakers Hawks game tommorrow, so I go into this BCBG location in Dillards at Atlantic Station. I had seen some here before, but lack of time made it impossible for me to try them on then. Now I admit that I’m on the low side of being a plus size lady, so sometimes just for the sake of quality I realize that I just might have to buy on the high end… for some things… u just cant wear the $ 10 ones from Ross… so I go into this leased area of Dillards and explain to the lady at the counter… I want denim leggins. Well…I work in retail, so I know that our cell phones are not allowed on the sales floor, but really… who follows that rule??? I have even told a few people in my life… oh…dont get off the phone… i’m just browsing, but this lady… ME…I am lookin for demin leggings HER…never looked up from her phone… oh…they are on the 30% off rack. ME…where is that? HER…over there ME…(huh…where is that) Finally somone from the department on the other side of «over there» comes and says… can I help u? Dont u know Miss Madam had the nerve to tell him… leave my customer alone. SHEESH… she wouldnt look up from her phone to help… and now telling someone to leave me alone that will help. So…I find some leggins(not on the 30% off rack) and I say… are these 30%off also…(back to textin on her phone) looks up and says… NO…I say oh… are u running any promotions where I get money off(again…never looked up from the phone) that ended yesterday she says… oh…well is there any way u can honor it today… or is there a manger I can speak with, I say… oh…I’m the asst manager here and it would be me and I cant authorzie that? So I ask… well what was the promotion… she says… if u signed up for our email list, u will get 20% off of regular price merchandise, I say… oh…well I’ll give u my email if you give me the 20% off…(again…still texting, and showing another sales person the texts that she has received… still hasnt looked up at me yet)…no that was only being ran from Thursday to Sunday… So I say… well…u know… its a «recession»…r u really going to allow me to put these $ 108 leggings back on the rack and walk out this store empty handed, no one pays full price for anything anymore. I can see if it was a special promotion or coupon… but u want my email for 20% off… thats not even a real promotion. She didnt even respond… the other clerk that she was showing her texts and photos too(she was in the band at her high school) says… theres nothing we can do for you. «WE»…u work upstairs in childrens. I just heard u say you are on your break. Well…u all know me… Made it my business to call the district manager this morning. I swear, customer service is coming back to retail if I have to die bringin it back. I think it wouldnt have been so bad… but when she said… I’m the asst manager… that just irked me… u are in management and u are sitting here textin and ignoring a customer. Well not this customer.
