This was my first time at this location and I promise it will not be the last. I have been to several facilities for colonic hydrotherapy however this place is the best. I truly recommend anyone who is seeking a better healthy lifestyle to try any of their services. I also started the HCG program after seeing the AWESOME results from one of the staff members. I finally found ONE place to take care of all my personal health needs. Thanks for the warm welcome and excellent health information.

I had my first colonic today and i appreciated everyone in the office. They answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable.
The process itself was much easier than I thought it would be and by the end my wife said that she would like to have a colonic the next time I’m in here.

The customer service at Atlanta Health & Wellness Center is above excellent! The equipment is excellent, the office is well run and cleaner than a hospital! You won’t be disappointed with the use of this facility. Even the music is great! Everyone wants to purchase a CD (not available yet) after hearing the music!

Second visit yesterday and the service remains to be excellent!!! Super clean environment, staff is very professional and courteous. Well definitely be returning next week too try the foot detox. Had a colonic done ystday and I feel beyond great!!! No joke. I hardly EVER write comments on Unilocal,but I had to let others know how great the service is here! Try it once. You will not be disappointed.

For this to have been my first colonic experience, it was calming and not as difficult as I thought it would be. The owner, Ms. Katina, was very kind, helpful, and explained the process step by step. The system is self inserting. She will give you a heating pad to place on your tummy to soothe any discomfort. After the process, you are given a drink to replace any electrolytes lost during the colonic process.
Now that I have had one, I’m not so nervous about the process and I would do it again.

Detoxing from head to toe was never one of my concerns until I met Catina. I told her I was trying to lose weight and she expressed the importance of detoxing the body. She explained to me that if I wanted to lose weight and maintain it to include detoxing. She assured me of the fabulous results, and here I am 50 pounds lighter. I was so impressed that not only did I lose weight, but I’m keeping it off. The best choice I ever made!

The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. This is my second time going here for a colonic and foot bath and each time I went I was made to feel very comfortable.

Where do I start… Simply put: THIS PLACE IS A-​W-​E-​S-​O-​M-​E!
It was just like in the movies; when I walked in I kinda heard this dreamy chime going off in my head. I was completely surprised that the pictures online accurately represent the space — no false advertisement here. The therapist was phenomenal. The environment was clean and odor free!
Even after doing all the research and comparative shopping, I was extremely nervous and I still wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But the serene atmosphere and friendly staff quickly put me at ease. The therapist treats each client like they are number-​one! Even on her busiest days, she still resonates a bright personality.
The price was supreme and after receiving my initial service and speaking in depth with the therapist, I had no problem signing up for additional services! It was the first time, in a looong time that I’ve purchased a service that I was totally and completely satisfied with. And those that know me — can attest to this. :-)

PS the location is great… it right off the expressway, and for atlanta travelers. that’s very important… no traffic.

I am a non-​practicing I-​ACT certified colon hydrotherapist as well as a naturopathic wellness coach. Since leaving the industry it has been a challenge to find a place that I felt I could refer my clients to, until I was given a certificate for a cleanse and footbath at Atlanta Health & Wellness Center.
I live in Buckhead so the drive was a little bit (25 min w/​o traffic), but I have to say that once I stepped into the office, my initial impression of the space was impressive.
Here is a breakdown of my points of view:
FRONT RECEPTION /​WAITING AREA:
Very clean and uncluttered. You can faintly hear a jazzy watercolor spa music lightly playing in the background. If you are new, you will be asked to complete a brief history before you begin. Once completed, the therapist will review and lead you back to either the footbath suite or your private cleansing suite.
THERAPIST:
There is only one therapist. The owner. She is professionally dressed in uniform. What is also impressive is that the therapist LOOKS the picture of health and wellness. Very clear skin, bright eyes, healthy smile, and shiny well-​kept hair. This for me is a big one as it is a challenge to take wellness instruction from someone that is not living it.
FOOTBATH SUITE:
Exceptionally Clean. The seating is comfortable. The room is set up for two people to sit side by side and enjoy an ion cleanse foot bath. The lighting can be set low if you like and the music can be adjusted to your listening as well. After your footbath is complete, the therapist cleans your feet with a spray of herbal water. Your feet are dried and then rubbed with a potent lotion of peppermint and lavender. The lotion is very concentrated and you can feel it tingling. The aroma is very clearing as well. Personally, I think they need to bottle that stuff and market it.
COLONIC SUITE:
AHWC uses the open system colonic units. Now depending where you go, this can be a hit or miss. This is a hit! I thought I was fanatical about my units being clean when I had my facility. This place is amazing! EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN! The room temperature I found to be very comfortable and I have been there in the summer months as well as the fall and winter months. Once you are set up your therapist will instruct you on how to adjust your waterflow so you can enjoy your therapy. She will come to check on you at least every 10 – 15 minutes, but if you need your therapist all you have to do is press a button which is only arms length away. Your therapy will last for about 40 – 45 minutes. At the end, your therapist will come in, shut off the water flow and instruct you on how to dismount from the unit.
CLOSING OUT PROCEDURE:
You will be given drink to support balance your electrolytes. Your therapist will share with you what to expect after your cleansing and offer a suggestion of further visits.
You can pay by credit or debit card and of course cash.
A con is that the facility is a bit of a drive from the city. Additional con — the owner typically handles her business by texting if she is not available to answer the phone. This appears to be a one person operation. The owner is the receptionist, cleaner, therapist, cashier, executive bottle washer, etc… During a text exchange so much can be lost in translation and the communication can come across detached and extremely curt.
