The very first time I went here, I had a great experience. I even recommended the doctor I was seeing to my friends. I recently went back there this year and my experience was very different. The front lady was nice but the nurses were a little rude. In the examination room, the Dr. I normally see was a bit rude and she tried to argue with me when I told her what the problem was. She acted like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Uhm, excuse me, just because I didn’t go to med school like you, doesn’t mean I don’t know my own body and health or I don’t do research. She was rough and hurting me and I wanted to literally kick her in the face b/c she seemed to be rushing and didn’t even care that I was human. The nurse that accompanied the Dr. in the room also made me uncomfortable. She did not smile and was rude and was staring the whole time. After the exam, I was told to wait while the nurse gathered my documents. While I was sitting, I overheard the other nurse that was in my exam room talk about me and she was laughing with her co-workers. I was extremely upset about how unprofessional they were and needless to say, I went back to all my friends and told them not to come here. This office USED to be VERY professional and had great service but I’m not sure what happened over the years. I’m switching to a new doctor that is more personal and doesn’t have an attitude problem or at least smiles at her patients. But I will say that the front office and check out staff were great and helpful. Can’t say the same about the doctor or nurses.

I used to love my gyno’s office but, they’ve gone down hill… and fast. It used to be that when you got there, you were greeted with a smile and when the DR or nurse came in to see you, they had read over your file with all the notes about your personal life in it. They would make conversation about me being a teacher or going to grad school. Not anymore. My last 2 interactions were not great at all. First, the nurse, was a little to familiar. She was making comments that were completely inappropriate. I told her that I have small veins when they were going to draw blood(I used to give blood all the time in college and this isn’t a new problem). She told me, «Um-Hum, you just like to drink a lot.» WHAT!!! That’s unacceptable. Then, this same nurse, sat me back in the waiting room, where I waited for another 45 minutes. When she realized that she had forgotten about me, she blamed me by saying, «Next time don’t sit right there. I can’t see you.»(Shaking head.) I didn’t design this place so if you need to rearrange furniture, then go ahead. Finally, they have an automated phone system where you can call in and speak to a nurse practitioner. Usually, she is really prompt in calling back but it took her nearly 3 hours to return my phone call. It seems to me that they have taken on more clients than they can handle and their bedside manner has definitely suffered. I used to love this place and even recommended it to several friends. Not anymore. They need to do some serious reevaluation and get their productivity together. The one great thing that they have going for them is the Nurse Practitioner, Abigail Morgan. She is fabulous! If she were running the place alone, I’d give them 5 stars. She really knows what she’s doing and makes a point to make sure you understand what’s happening with your body and that you are comfortable.
