I grew a beard for my ex-​wife seven years ago when we were dating, and I wanted advice about whether I should get rid of it, morph it, or keep it. (The beard, that is… got rid of her a few years ago!)
I discovered Aaron Merino through his Youtube vid on beards. I then visited his
where I found just what I was looking for: Aaron’s personal «Virtual Grooming» consult. I figured what the hay, can’t go wrong for $ 30, so I clicked. Within a half hour I got an email from Aaron, and I responded with a short profile and three recent fotos.
After backing and forthing a few times on email, Aaron gave me some really great advice, and I’m glad I asked. Never would have thought about the points he made, like the relationship between a beard and your perceived age (if you feel and act younger than you are, you better do something to look the part). He also gave me some specific advice on eyeglasses (definitely needed a makeover there) and hair.
This guy has 60 videos on Youtube, they are great. You know what, guys? It’s OK to ask! And Aaron Merino is the guy.
