I cannot say anything but great things about my experience with the All-Star Swim Academy. My nephew is in the beginners swim class with Leslie and refuses to go to any of the classes if he knows Leslie is not going to teach. Teaching can be hard enough but teaching swimming to a group of small kids looks like it can be quite a task but Leslie handles it with ease. She is so patient and keeps them engaged and wanting to come back. I appreciate how personable she is, how she takes the time to speak with us about his progress in the class, how quickly she responds to emails and how she is always willing to work something out if there is a scheduling issue. I can tell that she is very passionate about her work and is teaching him all the proper techniques and allows him, along with the rest of the class, to have a little fun. Maybe one day I’ll take lessons because I’m sure she’ll make me into a mermaid!

Leslie and All Star Swim Academy of Atlanta are amazing. I took my first round of private adult swim lessons back in October and Leslie was so patient and encouraging. I was able to swim the entire length of the pool by my last session. I am now taking a second round of group lessons for intermediates so I can get better. I have referred a few friends as well, and they all love Leslie!

Leslie is an amazing teacher!!! She is patience, light hearted and gives great positive feedback. The class size was very small, which I needed. I was so fearful of water, especially with putting my head under. But she allowed me to use every floating device that was available until I was comfortable. I highly recommend her, especially if you are an adult wanting to learn how to swim.

This place is ridiculous. I am visiting from out of town and came to watch my niece show off her swimming skills when I notice a employee ask a nursing mother to «move it» which was pretty damn shocking at that because she was totally covered up. Plus I’m pretty sure state law allows BFing anywhere. What was really mind blowing was the fact that he asked this young woman how old her baby was. I have a 19month and the baby couldn’t be more than that but does that even matter? Either start educating your employees or start lawyering up. I’m telling my sister to pull my niece from your school. It’s not as good as my kids school and that’s a fact! From the student to teacher ratio to the teacher retention rates to the customer service. People go elsewhere! Don’t go here!!!

I contacted All-star swim academy a couple of weeks before traveling to Atlanta to hopefully find someone to help me improve my swimming skills while I was visiting the area. I asked for 4 or 5 days of lessons. Leslie P. not only emailed me but also called me. I explained my situation and preferences to her and she assured me that she could help me out and would be glad to work with me. I set up a lesson for the first day of my arrival for late afternoon and asked her to follow up with me during that time. That day came and I never heard from her. I didn’t have her phone number so I could not call her. I emailed her to tell her how disappointed I was that she never followed through with our appt. She never even bothered to get back to me to apologize or give me a reason of why she never followed through with our plans. By the time I got here, it was to late for me to try and set something up with someone else. I see she has 2 good reviews. I am very disappointed.

Leslie is an amazing teacher. She tailors the lessons towards your needs, so if you’re a quick learner you’ll progress accordingly and if you like to take things slow then expect a more comfortable ramp. I went from not being able to put my head underwater without spazzing to swimming comfortable by the end of our lessons. And if there are specific strokes or techniques you want to learn, she’ll go out of her way to teach them to you provided you don’t attempt the butterfly stroke your first day in the water. Wether you’re the type that likes to dive in headfirst(excuse the pun) or test the waters one toe at a time(excuse the pun) I’m betting she’s the teacher for you.

Leslie is a very good teacher, she has lot of patience and is very considerate. I have finally started feeling comfortable in water and feel that I can learn swimming soon. I have already recommended her to my friends.
