I have been a customer for over 20+ years and for the last 2 weeks I have been trying to get ahold of customer service to have water delivered. I usually have to call in my order(I order 6 bottles at a time) to have it delivered since I do not go by the normal schedule. I cannot get through to a live person because recording says«we are experiencing more that regular phone calls.» I just need to have 6 more bottles delivered and I can’t get through anyone. How could you experience these calls 24 hrs a day. I tried calling at different times of the day and it won’t take my order automatically. They need to hire alot more people for their call center!!! This is best time to lose customers when they can’t even get to talk to a LIVE person! Its so bad if you don’t care about your customers who have been with you for 20+ years. We have Arrowhead delivered to my off, they are starting to look good right now!

Whatever you do, DONOTORDER service through Alhambra Water or any of it’s DS Services affiliates. Read other Unilocal reviews for Alhambra’s in Norther California and some of it’s sister companies. I have had the worst experience with them. Make a long story short… I lived in SoCal and got the service there– they were amazing and responsive. They convinced me to transfer my service up here so I said sure. This is where it starts and it is a common problem from what I have read. They changed my plan to a more expensive one without telling me so I had to call and after they still tried to tell me it was better I stood my ground and said that I had a special deal. They changed it. So my delivery date(August, hottest month of the year) comes and no water. I gave them a week and nothing so I had to go buy water at the grocery store. I call them and they said that it will never happen again so they delivered one bottle to hold me over. September comes and no delivery — UNBELIEVABLE. So I call them and tell them that I want to cancel my service — no apology or anything and they tell me a manager would call me within a couple of days to schedule pickup. A week later– no call so I call them back because I want to make sure I’m not charged. In the meantime, I research to see maybe this is an isolated incident and nope, I’m only one of many people this has happened to. So I call again and they said they would have the manager and the regional manager call me to resolve this. Still no apology, more like I just caused them an inconvenience. I offered to leave their equipment and bottles outside and they said no because I would be liable for them. I said okay, I will wait. Three days ago a water truck stops in front of my house and I sigh thinking FINALLY. I gather everything to take it outside, as I open my door, the truck leaves. FML. oh it gets better! Today, I get home and guess what is waiting on my porch, three bottles of water. WTF! This company is ridiculous and management should really be reprimanded. So again… DONOTORDERFROMTHEMATALL. You have been warned, haha.

Iv been with Alhambra for over 2 years, i wanted to update my water dispenser because it wasn’t keeping my water cold, they wanted to charge me an extra 35 dollars a month. We finally came to an agreement for a payment and yet they still kept charging me an extra 35 dollars, so I call customer service and of course they are like no problem well give you a credit, well that was 3 months ago, I called them yesterday to cancel and I have had nothing but problems with them. STAYAWAY! They have horrible customer service!

I would give 0 stars. terrible customer service. liars, all liars. they also say they will sign you up for the budget/value plan, but don’t. they will charge you astronomical numbers until you complain and then the agents lie and say they never had a value plan when you signed up. the whole thing is about taking your money. Don’t use them! beware!

We used Alhambra in San Jose California, big mistake, their customer service is terrible and they don’t do what they say. We canceled at the 1 year, now it’s 3 months later and the bills are pouring in. No refund for deposits and $ 10 a month late fees. They don’t deliver on time in California, they don’t care, you know it’s only water. The contract you agree to includes the litigation, they intend on it. If they just did what they should there would be no reason for all the litigation talk in the agreement. DONOTUSE

I am a customer of acquisition in San Jose, Ca. Customer service is sorely lacking at this company. Been a customer for over 15+ yrs(now with Alhambra through acquisition). Delivery inconsistent, delivered more than what my plan calls for and which I didn’t ask for and charged me for it anyway. Tried to pay by bill through their website, confirmed, and then it’s not? Which lands me a late charge for which I wasn’t late? CS won’t reverse the charge? WTH? I’d advise against using a co like this which has less than stellar service and is sorely lacking in customer retention and relations. UGH! go elsewhere.

The water sometimes tastes good and sometimes not so much. My #1 reason for cancelling their service is their customer service sucks and they cannot seam to get anything right. They cant even get my delivery dates right. It took me 4 times of calling them and giving them my new address for them to finally change it in their system. Very frustrating. My advice, use another company.

I am such a water person. I drink so much water… But I don’t like all those little bottles. We get the ‘Big Kahuna’ Bottles delivered to our doorstep, where we have a Hot/Cold dispenser to make our french press coffee every morning, or our cold refreshing glasses of water in the daytime. The delivery service is great! The guys who work the route are friendly and helpful, and on time. The Hot/cold unit is rented, so if it poops out, they replace it, no problem. If we want a case of small bottles, they deliver that too! Whether you know this as Sparklets, Alhambra, or Sierra Springs… It is a great way to get your 8 glasses a day! You are getting 8 glasses a day aren’t you?
