TOTAL RIPOFF COMPANY.
I would give them zero stars if possible.
Our mailbox was hit slightly damaging the pot metal bracket and making it loose.
Since this is who our HOA used I called them to make repairs.
They came out and quoted me $ 145 to replace the bracket that I found online for $ 40. When I called customer service and asked them why they were charging me $ 100 to put in 2 screws (that would make their labor more than $ 200hr) Sarah told me that is what they charge even though it is more than an airplane or car mechanic or plumber or carpenter. Her responses were so insulting and ridiculous that I felt like it was a morning radio show prank.
It was not. They are just a corrupt business trying to take advantage of people.
Do not give them any business.

The whole experience was excellent from the costumer service rep that took my order to the timeliness of delivery. And Charles did an excellent and solid installation ! Every interaction was professional and gracious. The whole process went flawless. Tonya Boylston

The mailbox system was quickly received following our order. The boxes arrived well packed. The mailbox itself is very high quality with a high quality finish. It was a great value and now our neighbor as well as ourselves have a beautiful mailbox that enhances both our yard and the neighborhood.

I ordered a mailbox last week and it was installed today (within 5 business days). The mailbox looks great (Emerson style). They removed the old/​existing mailbox and installed the new one with minimal disturbance to our landscaping. I’m a happy customer!

Mike and Jon were very polite and professional during the installation of our street signs in the neighborhood. Took the time fully install the signs and clean up afterwards. Even worked throughout the weekend to get the job complete.

WARNING!!! This is a pre-​paid company. This means that they collect in full before performing any services.
The employees are either completely incompetent or the owners are total crooks. I’m really not sure. I’ll explain in detail below.
Summary: This company did not perform any services until I threatened to dispute the $ 475 charge on my credit card.
On August 5^th, 2014, I called Addresses of Distinction and allowed them to charge my credit card $ 475 to purchase my HOA’s approved mailbox and installation of said approved mailbox. I was promised an installation time frame of 3 weeks. 3 weeks went by without the installation and without a single communication as to the status of my mailbox.
I did receive a flyer in my existing mailbox (illegally placed in my mailbox without any postage by Waterside HOA president Michael Windeler) informing me that if I didn’t pay the $ 475 for the new mailbox, the mailbox price would increase to $ 594). I would just like to take a minute to point out the obvious here, mailbox companies would cease to exist if not for the USPS. Mailbox companies, such as this one should be familiar with the laws of the USPS and know that it is 100% illegal to place articles on or in my mailbox.
After 3 weeks passed, I called and spoke with Sarah Johnson to ask about my installation and mailbox. It took her 8 hours to research my order and tell me that my mailbox would be installed within the next 2 weeks. At this point, my 3 week install timeframe had turned into a 5 week install timeframe.
5 weeks after I PAID IN FULL for my mailbox, Sarah Johnson calls me to let me know that my mailbox will be partially installed. Sarah Johnson is unable to tell me when my mailbox will be fully installed. I ask to speak to a supervisor, Sarah informs me that everyone is in a meeting and she has no idea when they will be out.
Later, Ryan Martin (supposed president of the company, but really Director of Operations), comes on the line and admits that his company completely dropped the ball on my order.
It takes an additional 6 business days to complete the installation of my mailbox (6 weeks total /​double the originally promised timeframe of 3 week).
My conclusion is that Addresses of Distinction took my money and had absolutely no intention of installing the mailbox I paid for. Please do not do business with this company. These people are crooks.

Our mailbox was old and really looking bad so we called addresses of distinction to order a replacement. Not only did they identify which type of mailbox we had, they priced each part separately and even came to install it a couple of days later, Mike our installer was very professional and even called to let us know he was on his way. Great service.

Got our new mailbox today. Placed the order last week on a Tuesday and they came today (Wednesday) and did the install. Mike was friendly and professional — he called to let me know he was on the way. I requested he install the mailbox closer to our driveway and he was able to accommodate my request and work around the water meter & pipes. We have rose bushes and pine bark where the mailbox is installed — Mike took the time to make sure to put the pine bark back around the base of the mailbox and didn’t disturb any of the bushes. Happy to have our new mailbox!

We purchased a very nice mailbox through this company less than two years ago to the tune of almost $ 300 installed. Imagine our disappointment when we find that they can’t replace the red metal flag that fell off without replacing the entire box. AND it will cost me time, gas and $ 31 additional to go to Midtown to pick it up. If I want it shipped here, that will cost me $ 57 and if they come install it, we are looking at over $ 100. Yep. For a freaking broken red flag. Ridiculous. I asked them why they didn’t stand behind their product and I got no help.

We just moved to the Atlanta area and purchased a pre-​owned home. The mailbox had seen better days, so we asked Addresses of Distinction to recondition it for us. Our mailbox went from being the «ugly duckling» on the block to the nicest. Great job!
