Nice, very large, open warehouse space that people rent out to have events. How it looks when you go, and whether you have a seat or not, depends on how your event people have it set up. I also don’t know if the bartenders and servers come with the venue or if it’s bring your own staff. At the Sweet Spot event I attended, I found the servers to be overworked and remotely pleasant. Problem is there were only two of them to work a very large crowd of hungry people. This caused them to be s-l-o-w. *****BEWARE! There is a 10% gratuity automatically added to ALL food orders. There is ALSO an additional TIP line. Unless you intend to, this will cause you to DOUBLE tip if you complete the tip line when you get your check. The food here is surprisingly good, and they have a varied menu of bar foods. Drinks were on point– tasty and strong, and not overly expensive. Really nice venue. Would love to have a party here.

Warehouse building converted into a club. Welcome to 595 ladies and gentleman. The only thing worth reviewing about this place is the bar. It’s nothing but a dark warehouse with a DJ and speakers. That said, they have a well stocked bar and pretty good bartenders who are knowledgable about drinks outside of rum and cokes. Seating is pretty limited with basically just couches and tables alongside the wall. It’s really more about what party is going on the day you go. I went during the summer for a R&B party and had a pretty good time. Great crowd and great vibe. I went recently for a HipHop party and couldn’t wait to close my tab to leave. The party pretty much attracts the people who come. I will say in comparison to other Atlanta clubs it’s relatively cheap. But again its an old warehouse so take that with a grain of salt.

Best house music in Atlanta, correction the only house music in Atlanta. But only on Tambor nite.

Nice venue, large, but not poppin last night on a Saturday. The bartender said sometimes people pick Fri or Sat to party here, nit both, so hit or miss.

This review isn’t so much about 595 North as it is about the Tambor Party held there recently. If a Tambor Party is what you’ll be going to 595 North for — you can forget about wanting to sit down. The music was so awesome I didn’t take the time to go on a tour of the venue. I was there for one reason — to cut the rug, to shake a tail feather; in other words — to dance! From what I could see from where I danced; it looked like a pretty trendy place. It’s nice and spacious lots of room for dancing, spinning, whirling, dippin’ and flippin’. Tambor the spanish word for«drum» is a perfect definition for such a party. The guest DJ for this event, one Culoe de Song from South Africa who drove the beat all night long; well… until 3am, which could have easily gone on until sunrise and the crowd would have kept dancing and being moved by the music which was hypnotic — once it grabs you — it never lets go. It’s the kind of music I’d danced to on the boardwalk at Coney Island all last summer. I found it to be euphoric — dancing on and on to a syncopated rhythm. If the music doesn’t move you — you simply do not have a soul. It was so amazing, afterwards, people stood around outside talking about it and I heard things like: «Girl, you sure got your dance on!» «It did my soul good, that’s my church.» «Girl, you look like you just got out of a shower!» So, no matter what kind of party or event going on at 595 North… I’m willing to bet money nothing’s got it going on like a Tambor Party.

I went there for October’s «Spreadlove/Felabration» event and I enjoyed everything about the place. There was plenty of room on the dance floor with limited space on both sides for people to sit. There is also a really nice lounge area upstairs where you can go and see the dance floor from above. The live music was fantastic and the alcohol was on point. This is a place I definitely plan to frequent.

Sooo. I went to 595 North for a Joyce Littel Event. I would definitely suggest you verify with security at the entrance regarding a good location to park your vehicle, because I had parked down the end of the block, and they were quick to notify me that cars do get broken into. I entered the building and the atmosphere was very relaxing, dimly lit, great space. Sorry ladies i did not check out the restroom. After I saw the menu I decided on Fried Tilapia Sandwiches, which were excellent. I really liked the menu selection because I dont eat pork or beef and there were alot of choices available and prices were excellent. Now to the waitress, she was a nice girl, but timing was all wrong, she did not bring utensils and napkins with my food order. And when it came time to pay the bill she took forever to bring me back my card. I’m not a baller by any means, but when you disappear for an extended period with my card I do get rather impatient. I would definitely hit 595 up again, no questions asked.

595 north is a great example of taking a simple building/warehouse and turning it into an awesome hang out spot. I went this past Friday and two words. HAPPYHOUR! free drinks from 6 – 9. Lets just say I had a GOOD time in the first three hours alone. The food is typical bar food(wings, chips&dip etc.) the wait staff is not the best, but they were @ least friendly. Overall great time.

I went here Dec. 08 for a private concert hosted by V103. The concert was great! I got to see Brandy, Monica and Slim from 112 perform. They did a great job. Now, the actual venue was okay. Our server was not that good. She barely checked up on us and when I wanted some water it took her forever to get it. I had to ask another server for it and she bought it to me asap. Then here comes my sorry server trying to bring it to me after the other server already got it for me. I have it now after you took so long! Geez! I guess she had more important customers to worry about. We also had to eat our food on our laps and put our drinks on the floor because unless you had reserved seats(which were more than likely for the radio station) you had to sit in this area along the wall, so you had no table. The food was okay though. The building is also kind of located back in a cut Lol! And the pictures on their website showing the interior of the building looked a little better than it actually did in person. But it’s probably because they removed all the tables and chairs from the middle and it was really dark inside for the concert. If the concert wouldn’t have been so good I wouldn’t have given them 3*. However, I’m pretty sure that the event that we’re having there this weekend, that I’m going to miss :(, will go much better! I can’t wait to hear about it.

I enjoyed this spot a few weeks ago. A good friend of mine was on the 1’s and 2’s…so the music was definately live! It’s a jazzed up warehouse and it’s a great venue for private parties. The bartender that evening made the best appletini i’ve ever had… and was not stingy with the liquor! Parking could be better. My friend and I had parked up the street and around the back of a neigboring building.

I went here last weekend for a charity event, so I didn’t really get a true experience. But, it is a great space with a good vibe and I look forward to checking it out again. I hear they are still building the stage area, so once the sound gets fixed that should really help out. I wasn’t crazy about the parking(cones so you can’t park in the street, with an attendant offering $ 5 for the dark lot around the corner or $ 10 for a proper spot) or the drink prices($ 9 for a tiny cocktail is a little steep for somewhere off the beaten path like that). The staff was very friendly though, so a good event will get me back in there for a second try. I haven’t tried the food yet which could swing my review either way.

I was invited to this new lounge and event venue last week for an R&B artist listening party. It has an industrial vibe and feel to it since it’s housed within a converted Loft/Warehouse building. The lounge features a long bar near the entrance and there are several tables, high bar stool seating and couches along each side. VIP tables are set up in the middle with an intimate view of the stage where either a DJ spins or an artist sings. There’s a dance floor near the stage where dozens of people can get down with the get down. I didn’t get to go upstairs, but it looked like additional space was up top where patrons could spy on those below. There were maybe a dozen people in my group, which made service tricky at first. It took a little while for a waiter to come serve us but it didn’t matter because we had already just gotten up and ordered our own drinks from the bar. Once the waiter did arrive, some of us ordered food and it didn’t take long at all for it to arrive. 595 North features a good mix of food such as pizzas, wings, chicken or shrimp skewers, sliders and seafood platters. I tried the flatbread pizza, which really hit the spot and complimented my Cabernet wine. I love that the food and drinks are so reasonably priced! There was a female DJ from 95.5 who kept the crowd dancing with a clever mix of both old school and new school jams until the artist appeared for his set. Overall this was a great time and the party promoter Chris is a young, talented brother doing great things for Atlanta’s young and professional crowd.
