Absolutely adore this place. Excellent breakfast food, old fashioned staff whose sweet as sugar. Fast service. Food cooked right there in front of you almost! My mother, brother and I would sometimes just wait around till 2am to go eat here. For some reason food just tastes better when it’s really late/​early! I would go here every morning if I could!

What can I say, I love Waffle House! This is the only restaurant open passed midnight in Athens… and it’s great. I really love the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with hash browns.
They always have great coffee no matter what time if the day and I once heard that Waffle House cooks more streaks than any other restaurant chain in the country. I don’t know if that’s true but the food always seems fresh and now that they don’t allow smoking inside it’s turned into my #1 late night spot in Athens!

The shouting of orders takes some getting used to. But the eggs & cheese plate with bacon was great. Price was good too. I highly recommend it for breakfast.

Okay… so I’ll admit it… I’m a Waffle House addict; but there are good Waffle Houses and bad Waffle Houses. This location is a GREAT Waffle House. Food cooked to perfection and the friendliest staff anywhere. Kudos guys — you’re the best!
