I love it here. One of the best Home Depot I have been to. I’m new to Athens and I’ve made lots of trips here one trip a day for the first year.
The staff is very helpful and the store is clean. I like the parking situation here too. It’s not a question of life or death to get in or out of the lot. I use the entrance at the end of Ocone Connector St. and I never feel rushed getting in or out.
As for comparing to the competition, Lowe’s, I’d always have to choose Home Depot. I was contractor for years and I just can’t shop at Lowe’s, it feels too much like a Macy’s or Walmart to me. But that’s just me, and I know that.
