Mac’s Sports Bar & Steakhouse

As a local, my husband and I go here when we find ourselves with no kids for a night. Great Date Night place. Always like the live music. The restaurant does tend to have slow service, even when there is no one else in the dining room, but I have never had a bad meal there. WE can eat, then go to the back for live music. We will keep going back.

Been here a couple of times and the food was always excellent, but the service left plenty to be desired. Most recent visit was on a weekend evening with my wife; dining room was nearly empty but we still waited longer than necessary for our food, and our meals were served almost ten minutes apart with the wrong side items on the first one. Our inexplicably hostile waitress realized her error after delivering the first plate – we could hear her discussing the order with the kitchen staff through the open door – and made only a half-​hearted attempt to rectify the situation, which we politely declined and sorted out the order at the table ourselves.
I’ll probably be back eventually since Mac’s has one of the only live-​music venues in town in the other side of the house, but the lack of professionalism on the restaurant side would make me hesitant to return for dinner.

I like to support small mom-​n-​pop restaurants, so after reading some other reviews I decided to try out Mac’s. I wasn’t disappointed. It is very casual… a restaurant with a bar in the back. Decent drink prices… and an awesome steak for the money.
The service was efficient and friendly… even to this out-​of-​towner; treated like a regular. After my food was served the chef came out to make sure that everything was done correctly… which it was. This isn’t Ruth’s Chris so don’t expect fancy. Just a good meal at a good price.

Alllllottt of TVs. The restaurant is up front and I hear they have good steaks. I came on a Saturday to watch football and ate the burger. The burger was quite satisfying. It is not very busy so don’t let the lack of people stray you away b

Well cooked, juicy steak — great for lunch time away from the office.

This place is pretty fun to hang out at and have a few drinks and play corn hole… yes corn hole! They have a patio to enjoy year round they enclose it in the winter and open it up in the summer. They also have a nice bar menu cheap good and hot! The only thing I don’t like is that they took out the pool table. It was the only place that I knew of that you could drink and play a game of pool. Live bands are there on the weekend, plenty of T.V.‘s to watch the games, friendly staff that know their drink menu and plenty of parking.
They also have a restaurant too which I have yet to try.
