Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet

Always passed by this restaurant from going to Kroger. We Decided to go after just going to a buffet in Duluth 2 days go.

There weren’t many people there, so food was mostly luke warm as they barely changed it. The selection is pretty good, standard stuff…
— selection of seafood muscles, crabs, crawfish, clams.

Very nice waitress. I asked for some warmer and fresher food, and they brought it to me.
All in all, this place is just okay. If you are looking to stuff yourself at a reasonable price in Athens (22 for 2 people) this is your best bet. I don’t think I’ll be back; I rather go back to Duluth as there food is a lot better.
I recommend golden sun next to walmart on Lexington, there American Chinese food is the shit.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The food was old and stale, the shell fish was horrific, the service was weak, and it’s not worth the money. Try any other Chinese buffet in town before this one. You’re way better off with mall Chinese food. Even the rice was bad. So bad.

We went there for lunch and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. There are a lot of pros to this place: great price for lunch, lots of variety, and a clean environment. It’s not the most amazing food and the sushi isn’t anything special but overall I had a good experience and I enjoyed the food. I didn’t try the hibachi but that looked delicious. This place worth a try.

I mean, hey, it is what is. Is this place TTTHHHEEE beat Chinese/​Hinachi buffet around? No. It’s not. Is it best value for the buck? Yup! It is! $ 10 or so per evening meal with all you can eat hibachi and sushi! Come on… That’s a deal. They are a little slow on replenishing the sushi but they have a ton of varieties of fishy! I’ll be going back again and again and again. Love the staff as well!

The food wasn’t particularly good and there’s not a lot of variety. I’ve been to several Asian buffets and the quality of food here is slightly lower than average. The inside of the restaurant is also dark. I suppose they lowered lighting for the «atmosphere» but it just didn’t work well.
It’s okay if you want to stop by and try it, but I wouldn’t go back a second time.

Ok, I’m a Chinese buffet grazer… I’ll admit it. This place was clean, but the food selections were sub par and all looked the same. Chicken this, chicken that, beef this, beef that, all with a different sheen of that industrial-​grade Glistenium added to them to make them look presentable.
A friend came up with this term… «Glistenium — (n) The food additive found in most Asian buffets to make dry, overcooked, or questionable meats look coated in sauce or glaze. Generally tasty, but not good for you»
I tried the sushi, which was not really cold enough to seem proper, although it moved off the serving area so fast, I don’t think it would have been a problem. There was no Gen Tso’s chicken AT ALL on the buffet, so I was disappointed at that alone right there. Their hot/​sour soup was decent, not too thick, and not too loaded down with excess filler like cheap mushrooms. The dumplings and dim sum were dried out from being uncovered under a heat lamp and on a steam table that was WAY too hot for them.
I won’t go back again unless it’s the only place in Athens and I’m that desperate for something to fill my gut.

there do have a lot of different dishes but not very delicious, the environment here is not good and sometimes there is a little smelly (maybe it’s just my feeling), but the waiters and waitresses here really friendly and helpful, but still I don’t like the food here.

This is a restaurant that hits the nail on the head: low price, pretty decent food … and it’s located in a college town where kids on a budget appreciate all-​you-​can-​eat.
I don’t think Hibachi Grill is amazing, but it delivers a bang for the buck. There were plenty of choices including typical Chinese items, and such diverse American dishes as tilapia and roast beef. The sushi bar wouldn’t rate in a Japanese restaurant — but for a Chinese buffet it’s fine. The mongolian grill looked really good. (Come to think of it, why did I pass it up?!)
Another poster commented about empty chafing dishes. We were there on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was really busy. Other than eggrolls — I nabbed the last one — the food kept coming, and no empty spots.

Got ripped OFF… Had take out and they charged me for all SEAFOOD when I had non-​seafood and seafood… Supposed to be 4.99 a pound, he charged me 6.99…DON’T GO HERE, THEY RIP YOU OFF… CHEATERS!
