This is a great gym to join if you want to know the people you are working out with, feel like you’re part of a family and have a lot of support and encouragement. You can be at any level and are never meant to feel as though you’re not good enough or strong enough. Though you work out as a group, you set your own goals, and the workouts are intense and help you reach your goals quicker than if you were trying to just work out on your own. To create even more incentive, you work your way up to different levels and earn a different colored T-shirt that you are required to wear to class as a uniform. I purchased a Groupon for 10 women’s boot camp classes, and although I only used 6 of those, I feel as though I had an extremely positive experience. Coach Jessie is truly the reason for that. You can tell that she loves what she does, cares about her students and team, and does a great job keeping it fun and mixing things up. The only downside for me was the cost of membership. I did not get a chance to meet with someone about membership, but from speaking with some of the current members, you are going to spend at least $ 100 – 150 a month depending on the plan that you choose. This is for the women’s boot camp classes.(They specialize in MMA and have some of the best fighters, so if you’re interested in that, it seems it’s the place to go.) There also is a lack of organization when it comes to getting in for the first assessment and communication around that which surprised me a bit since that first impression really is a lasting once. Once you are actually there, most of the trainers are very friendly. I recommend you try it out and decide for yourself if it’s for you

Sadly, I wanted to give this gym 5 stars SO bad. I bought a groupon for the women’s bootcamp classes and called twice to get the schedule and a girl there Ashley said I had to come in for an assessment in order to do that. Fine, not a big deal. Well THEN she called me back and said they looked me up on Facebook and saw I had worked for another gym two years ago [in 2011] and because of that, I couldn’t train with them at all. Bo th my husband and I were interested in the gym and a couple friends had recommended it to me. You would think they would want fitness-lovers in the gym and not just beginners but I guess not. Disappointed with the communication, customer service and business model and sadly, I can never recommend Hardcore to any Athen’s friends. My Uncle Marshall Davis owns a fight gym in Atlanta and he mentioned Hardcore was a good place to train… and even if it is, I couldn’t get past the terrible business model and customer service.
