As outsiders and not regulars we were welcomed by a lot of stares, but our waitress was very welcoming and friendly. Do not let the modest and simple décor fool you, the fresh hand breaded butterfly pork chop tenderloin was amazing. Their onion rings were like no others. Real, thinly sliced onions hand breaded. Easily the best tenderloin sandwich we had every had (4 people agreed), and onion rings we have had. Will be visiting again when we are in town.

Had a really great double bacon cheeseburger at Grant’s a few weeks back, and i’m still thinking about it. It was a work of art! The place is a classic small town diner, and I highly recommend a burger here. They also serve breakfast and coffee. It was pretty quiet and laid back, the service was very friendly. We enjoyed the visit here and will come back again when passing though town. Near Lincoln New Salem State Park.
