just your average Chinese restaurant located near south milledge road. they have a 81% on the food inspection score, and the tables inside do not seem to be cleaned compared to those at McDonald’s.

We have been in Athens for 13 years and have tried just about every Chinese place out there. We recently found China 1 in the shopping center at 2026 S. Milledge Ave. and it is our new favorite. Very inexpensive with the best food. We routinely drive there from the west side for food and are always glad we did.

Giving this 4 stars for: decent place, kitchen was visible (and looked clean), food was good, takeout service was fast, and we have ordered twice from there and have not been disappointed. This place is our go to for late night Chinese food craving.

Appears to be a small, family-​run restaurant. Great quality. The wanton soup was hardy with 3 big wantons and a little pork. Fried rice and sesame chicken was very good. About $ 10 for the package. Plan to go back.

The food (veggie lo mein, crab rangoon, broccoli beef, orange chicken) was good — not greasy or stale, and the phone and delivery service was friendly. Nothing amazing, but just what I expected from Chinese takeout. Some dishes came in small and large portions, which kept the price relatively cheap, too!
