A certain someone I know wrote a review of Chick-fil-A and posted it here. Within a day or two, she was notified that her review had been removed since it dealt with Chick-fil-A in general and NOT this specific location. I see the Unilocal authorities’ point, but I also know that Chick-fil-A strives to make each store’s products the same as the other, so having a customer complain about the trademark Chick-fil-A smell would apply to any store, right? The reason she was given for the review’s removal is that it wasn’t about a specific Chick-fil-A store – it was about every one of them. She was asked to look at the review guidelines to see why the review was removed. BUTTHERE’S NOTHINGINTHEGUIDELINES(that I saw, at least) that says that, in the case of franchises, you cannot review. Oh well. No big whoop, just odd. It made me suspect that the Chick-fil-A manager was cruising through Unilocal and wanted to censor a review that gave it 1 or 2 stars, keeping only the positive 4-star review I myself posted a little while back. Suspicious, I tell you. Very suspicious.
