This shop has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced! I dropped off a pair of shoe two months ago, requesting that they be done in two weeks. The man at the shop told me that he would rush them and that they should be ready. Two months later and I still don’t have my shoes! i have gone into the shop multiple times asking for them, to which I am first ignored while customers who came in after me were helped, and then am told that they don’t know where my shoes are because they are behind. I asked for my shoes back unrepaired and they were unable to do even that! Since then I have gone back again, not to be helped, and called only to be put on hold for 45 minutes. Every time I have gone in there I feel as if other customers are more important than I am, and that I am inconveniencing them by asking to redeem a service that I already paid for. I will NEVER, EVER again take my shoes here and i HIGHLY recommend that you avoid this shop at ALLCOSTS!

I used to wear a wonderful pair of brown vintage cowboy boots to stomp around campus. They were comfortable and had a cute buckle and metal detailing around the toe and heel. Last year, my fabulous vintage find took a beating. The soles split, and part of the metal around the toe of each boot snapped off. I drove by Alps Shoe Repair several times before deciding to stop. A man there explained that the metal around the toe could not be repaired, which is understandable because it looked terrible. However, the soles could be fixed. A few weeks later, I picked up my boots. I wore them for about three weeks before the soles started to fall off near the toes of each boot. The left sole split open again as well. I was so disappointed! My boots may actually need to make the transition from vintage to trash some time soon.
