Racks is a neighborhood sports bar that appeals to the local crowd. The place is completely surrounded with TV’s — there’s not a single spot you could be in and not see at least 2TV’s. There’s also a shuffleboard table which brings in some fun if you can manage to hold a spot when no one’s playing. I’m sure it’s a chill space in the summer with the patio but during this time it’s basically a smokers corner. Being vegan, the only food I’ve had here are the fries(good) and mixed drinks(subpar). I didn’t ask for any complicated drinks — just the basics but they’re weak as hell. It was so bad I had to go back and ask for more alcohol or it’d be a glass of water. I know they’re cheap($ 5) but I’d rather pay more for a good drink. If you’re here for the beers, the selection shouldn’t disappoint. The bartenders honestly look really unhappy and the drinks reflect that so this is never at the top of my neighborhood-joint-list.

Decent local bar. They run different specials everyday. They also accept NJCBC(NJ Craft Beer Club). The food is pretty good here too. The service is decent. I’ve really never had a bad experience here but there’s nothing special or unique about this bar. They have a patio with a back bar so when it’s nice out, you can definitely sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. On Sundays they have $ 5 Chicken or Steak Cheesesteak with fries. Such a good deal! It’s a full size too. I got the chicken ceaser wrap recently and didn’t love it.

THISREVIEWISFORRACKSINWILLIAMSTOWN! Just left Racks from Williamstown and was so disappointed in our meal! The last 2 times we were there the food and service was AWESOME! This time it was the total opposite! They changed their menu which is now a single sheet, took off my favorite sandwich and turned it into a platter. Ordered wings dry w 2 different sauces. She brought them out in a bowl and the sauces spilled all over the wings. Changed their mozzarella triangles, which were homemade and AWESOME. DEF set them apart from the rest to regular mozzarella sticks that were terrible in comparison. Service wasn’t like visits b4… all these changes hopefully isn’t a sign of what’s to come!

Good place, cheap drinks and food for happy hour. The outdoor bar is nice too. Food is reasonably good and service is on time and fast. Check it out if you are in the area you won’t regret!

No sure of all the local bars in the area but I went here with my fiend since we could walk there. Didn’t try the food but stuck with beer. On a Friday night the place was pretty dead. According to my friend everyone heads to the shore for the weekend in the summer. There was a DJ but the DJ stopped playing at 12. Average beer list. Average prices.

This place is overrated. The place is awkwardly set up. Bands are too loud. Bathrooms are disgusting. The world famous homemade fries on the menu… well…definitely not.

Rack’s is just a no frills PJ’s, Ott’s or Chickies, except there not a chain and there food is 10X worse. I guess its cool for Atco though. Good beer choices, sub par food. It is great for people watching. It does stay open till 3:00AM, has a patio, and fish bowl drinks. It’s definitely the type of bar you end you night up at for last drinks and wings.

If value(pricing) is what your looking for during lunch. Then this is the place. Variety of the menu is big enough but not extreme. They are trying to get into the craft beer realm. No Hunterdon brews yet but your get you r victory and great lakes. Service is always good.

I went here for lunch out of convenience more than anything else. The name Racks gives you the impression this is a bar with quite a few pool tables. Well, walking in there were only two of them so that was a little confusing. Aside from that, it is laid out nicely and pretty clean inside. It has a big island bar with a decent area for tables for those who don’t wish to sit at the bar. It’s a nice spot for watching the game with plenty of TVs. One thing I noticed looking through the menu is it’s a sports bar that’s easy on the wallet. There are specials every day or food and drinks. I was in on a Sunday afternoon and it was a bucket of four beers for six bucks and 50 cent wings basically all day long. Like I said, easy on the wallet. As for the wings, I got their 911 sauce. There was no emergency with these at all because I didn’t feel any strong heat coming from them. Besides that, the sauce was essentially just hot sauce lacking any real creativity with flavor. The wings were a tad overdone as well. Along with the wings, I had a «side» of fries which was more than a side. The fries were of the crinkle cut variety. These were nothing special, but were still pretty good.

I’ve never been here late enough for the bands, as I am a daytime weekend person or a right after work patron. Lisa and Jess are just so special behind the bar; always smiling and they know how to do their job. Don’t miss their Hawaiian flatbread or their prime rib sandwich. Both are delicious. Steer clear of the garlic wings, they can tend to be extremely garlicky, but the rest of their wing flavors are delish. Great place to grab a bite and enjoy a few drinks with friends. When the outside bar is open, it’s an even better place to come. Can’t wait until Spring!

I frequently go to Racks about once a month. The beer selection is pretty good and the food is above average for a bar. The chicken fajitas come out sizzling and are pretty good. Fried pickles are also pretty good. Great lunch special, $ 3 lunch and $ 1.25 domestic mugs if you can pull yourself away from the craft beers.

Bartender was really friendly and attentive, beers were moderately priced, food was below average but not terrible. The fajitas definitely shouldn’t be famous as they claim.

Decent menu selection and excellent food for a Sports bar. The daily specials are very reasonably priced especially the Friday prime rib dinner special. The fries with bay seasoning are great as well as the wings. I kind of wish there was another selection size between 12 and 24 wings. 12, not enough, 24 too much. Looking at the other reviews, this is a hit or miss place that doesn’t handle large crowds well. I was there with a medium sized crowd and found the seating to be a little confusing. When you walk in there isn’t a sign to seat yourself and since you are deposited right at the bar, I am not sure how they would know you need a seat. I watched a number of confused people come in wondering what to do. I will be back the next time I am in the area.

My experience here has always been consistent with staff hired for their pleasing assets ignoring the fact my beer is empty or I’m waiting for my check. One night in particular, my table had to continually try to flag our waitress down to get her to bring our check. Finally, when we got her attention she said she would bring it. And she did, after a fifteen minute conversation with her friend at the waitress station. Why two stars if the experience has been so bad? I enjoy their food. It’s just typical bar fare, but it is done well.

Rack’s has pretty good specials during sporting events. On Sundays, they have $ 1.50 Bud Lights and free pool. Normally, I don’t drink Bud light, but when it’s $ 1.50, it’s hard to pass up. My wife likes to order pierogis, which are lightly fried with onions and come with dill and sour cream. As far as I know, they are the only place around that serves them. I think they’re only Mrs. T’s, but they are still good. They have a tendency to have different drink sponsors send girls around that either give away swag to people drinking their drink or try to sell you test tube shots. I think that’s tacky. It’s packed and loud on Fridays and Saturdays.

On the plus side… Our bartender was nice. $ 2PBR Pints on a Saturday night. Not bad I’m not a big sports fan but there are TVs everywhere as well as an outdoor deck to hang out on On the other hand… When we asked for a menu, we were told we could only order fried food. This was circa midnight. The band was just plain awful and the fact that they were the Saturday night band made it even worse. If I could do 2.5 stars I would. I will be generous and bump up to 3.
