Colleen will personally deck you out. She is a «True Costumer» She not only has the awsome costumes but ALL the accessories to make you a one of a kind.
My experience at Costume Connection was sooo much fun. I love this place!

Horrible service. I would love to support this place considering it is nearby however every time I have gone one of the owners does not seem to know her place. I took my daughter and while she was trying on the costume the woman commented on her weight! Saying it’s not going to fit you, take it off. The costume was in her size and this was not her place! This was not the only time I have seen her act this way. Any time I have gone in with her the lady says something rude. I refuse to even go here anymore I have dealt with poor customer service before but never to the point where a woman commented on my young daughters weight in a demeaning manner. Don’t support this place!

This place is a find. It reminds me of costume shops I used to visit around Hollywood. It’s the real deal and it’s actually year round so it’s more than just one of the fly-​by-​night costume places that pop up in October. The location is a challenge but it’s also a fun little adventure coming out here.
I talked to Colleen the owner and she was super nice and helpful and has been doing this forever.
The only reason I don’t want you to check it out is because I’d like to keep the secret to myself, but in the spirit of Unilocal there you go!

I’ve been going here for years and it is my favorite costume store around. The service is so friendly and they will open up their store for you by appointment. The quality and service is so much better than other costume stores in SLO and in the area. It is located in Santa Margarita or as some people say «the middle-​of-​nowhere» but if you live in SLO or in North County it is a perfect location that is not as far away as you think.

I found this costume store/​house on Unilocal.I have been looking for a local costume store and got excited when I saw this. I looked up the address and decided to go. Well we were driving and driving for about 10 minutes and not because we were lost but because the place is so far out of town. When we finally arrived it looked like a creepy old house from a horror movie. It’s literally in the middle of nowhere. But there was a tent outside the house with many many costumes and good ones. It’s a good place with variety the location is just what sucks. Overall it’s an ok place just in the middle of no where. The owners are super nice people who have been doing this since 1994.
Tip: don’t go too late at night anything after 6pm it’s pitch dark out there and creepy.
