This Indian owned convenience store is one that is open late, has pretty reasonable prices for the occasional sports drink, and the owners here are very nice people. The place is clean and generally better maintained than some of the messy places that are only a block or two away. I tend to come by here every so often to pick up a lottery ticket and peruse the nice collection of magazines they have. Most mini stores in the area won’t have such a diverse collection of reading material (newspapers, foreign mags, etc.) but the price they pay is a smaller inventory for things like food or toiletries of which they have very little.
For some reason this place seems to be looming with traffic at all hours of the night. When their air conditioner isn’t broken, it makes a world of difference in this place.
