Have always loved Red Mango, but seriously after today I can’t keep myself from getting nauseated at the thought of going back. I ordered a large parfait with extra granola and headed to my car to eat it with my husband. The car was not brightly lit but it was sunny out so I could see well enough to eat. As I put a spoon into my mouth (this is already like my 5^th bite) I felt a strand of hair and pulled it out (i almost puked in the car instantly) so I turned on the lights and looked in to find another long strand mixed INSIDE with the fruits and granola inside the parfait. I gagged and immediately walked back to show the manager. He issued me a refund without hesitation, which is the right thing to do, so that’s good in their end but hopefully they consider wearing nets… Both servers had long hair tied into pony tails. I’m sorry to gross anyone out but seriously… it was so gross. And no, sorry no pictures I immediately went back I didn’t stick around to admire it.

Love this spot. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly. This location is usually clean and tidy. Lots of toppings and flavors to choose from. Great place to chat after work on a hot summer day. Get a red mango card and rack up points.

Ok, ok, so let’s get right to it. This place is a 5 on so many levels. Where to start, oh yes, I know, smoothies and juices. Have yet to have something here that I didn’t like. Love their line of green juices (apple, ginger, carrot being my favorite) and their smoothies are great. What’s the best part about it? Everything is fresh and made to order… no smoothie mix or tons of ice like other places.
As others have mentioned, the staff is top notch. Friendly, polite, and know how to do their job. I have never complained about the price because as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. When it comes to protein smoothies and fresh squeezed juice, I would actually argue that the prices are extremely competitive.
Can’t wait to go back (today after the gym of course)

Surprisingly, this is like the best tasting red mango store I’ve been in. I always love the tropical mango smoothie here over any other red mango store. Even their original tart yogurt tastes better than the one near me (in Brooklyn)

Mmmm I just love red mango… Def an acquired taste as their yogurt is more «tart» than others. Better than pink berry ! Also, this particular establishment caught my eye today bc they serve soups !!! Today’s special was chicken and dumpling and lobster bisque (there was one more but I can’t remember right now)… So happy and in my glory bc soups and fro yo are both some of my favorite things to eat especially since I’m sick (hmph). Anyway I opted for the chicken and dumpling it was nice and sort of creamy with a veg medley I really enjoyed it… Followed by a plain yogurt w granola all for like $ 8. Clean little spot located conveniently on steinway in the middle of all of your little shops. I’ve also had the peanut butter banana smoothie with granola added it’s amazing (if you like those flavors lol) they also serve really good French macaroons here ! Love those! Red mango you’re really coming up in the world

Delicious smoothies and frozen yogurt. Friendly staff but expect to pay Starbucks level prices.
This location has adequate seating and a restroom for customers. Not too far from my apt and the smoothies make for a great snack after working out.
Pomegranate Protector is my current favorite but looking forward to trying new options at Red Mango.

This location is great and I have nothing against Red Mango. But I do have frozen yogurt spots that I do prefer to this chain. For tart-yogurt, I prefer Pinkberry over Red Mango because it is icier and lighter, while Red Mango’s tart flavors have a creamier texture.
If I am craving creamy-flavored frozen yogurt, I like to hit up spots that are «full on» creamy, leaning more towards soft-serve, such as 16 Handles.
Red Mango seems to be a cross between 16 Handles and Pinkberry in terms of flavor. What I do not like about this location is that it is NOT self-serve, you cannot control how much you want nor put whatever you want on it.

Great location with friendly staff. I am not a big ice cream fan, but I LOVE froyo because it’s so much lighter and fruity.
This location is clean, convenient and the employees are super friendly. I must’ve tried 4 different flavors before I finally decided on 2. Thanks so being so patient!

I’m a fan of this Red Mango location. It’s very clean, the employees are knowledgeable of the products and they move very quickly so you never have to wait forever to order, they move even quickly in the summer time as well, so there’s hardly ever a long line which I love. I’ve never had a problem with my yogurt, it always taste really good and everyone is pretty friendly there. They are really easy to get to by the M and R train and get off on Steinway street and they are one block up.
So I give them 5 stars just for the great experience and how the shop is very clean and well kept. They always have everything in stock.

Not gonna lie, I’ve experienced much better frozen yogurt for the price. I’d like to give them 2.5 starts, but I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and round it up to 3 stars since maybe my expectations were simply set too high.
My boyfriend had one of the iced hot chocolates and it was pretty good. I ordered the pumpkin pie frozen yogurt and it wasn’t what I was expecting it all. It was very tart and the texture was very ice-y…more like sorbet than yogurt. And I don’t like sorbet. If I had been forewarned the yogurt wasn’t going to be smooth and creamy, I wouldn’t have even stopped by. Plus, the mix-in toppings are pretty expensive and add up quickly. Basically, I’m still on the hunt for a frozen yogurt place to frequent.
