New goto spot, a bit of a drive for me but well worth it have a bbq for a ton of people and everything i got from here was awesome. Hamburgers (jumbo), skewers chicken, beef and lamb… Everything was delicious.

My favorite butcher by far. I love there burgers. Just and salt and pepper b4 cooking, BOOM goes the flavor. They also have the tastiest italian sausage and souvlaki in the area. They make me grill all year round.
The prices are pretty decent, 3.49 lb for burger meat is pretty good and much better quality compared to the supermarket.

The best butcher. In the city. Period. George is the man. I buy ALL of my meat from him. The taste, quality and price of his food is unmatched. If you haven’t tried the lamb sausage, shame on you. If you haven’t had him grind fresh sirloin steaks for burger meat, then you are not about that life. Truly a hidden gem!

This is my new FAVORITE butcher in my neighborhood! The moment I walked in, the butcher was super friendly and amazingly helpful (not to mention humorous).
I needed some items for my friend’s BBQ and I picked up some spicy Italian sausages and marinated beef kebabs. WOW! After they were grilled, both were EXTREMELY flavorful. Not dry whatsoever. Whatever marinade the butcher used was definitely top notch. If you’re in the area, PLEASE head over to «My Famous Butcher». I can’t wait to go back!

This is now the second butcher on the empty stretch of Steinway right above Astoria Blvd. I was recently hunting for lamb chops, and Star Meat Market (see my previous review) happened to have a funky smell going on that day so I decided to try this place.
I left very satisfied. The butcher was very friendly, and offered me a few different deals based on how much I bought.
While I was browsing, a van pulled up outside. Someone went to meet it with what appeared to be a Target shopping cart.
When the cart was pushed back in, it was filled to the brim with animal carcasses pointed every which way. I probably could have lived without seeing that, but it caused my shopping companion to go running out of the store, which was hilarious.
