Nick’s Barber Shop

First time going here, absolutely fantastic hair cut and for an excellent price as well. Haven’t had a hot shave in awhile and this was well worth it. I wasn’t even sure what I wanted but I will definitely be back for future hair cuts

Nick’s is my barber shop and has been for 4 years now. They are fast, affordable and no one cuts my hair better. They are always friendly and smiles go a long way. Bella and Nick are my favorites! Bella has been cutting my hair for at least a year and she’s the best barber I ever had! My goatee is always perfectly trimmed. I love her and I love Nick’s.

Nick’s offers quick, efficient and good hair cuts day in and day out. The staff always provides a friendly, welcoming and professional experience. Unlike some other barbershops where the customer is asked a gazillion questions by the stylist, Nick’s barbers and stylists focus their attention on one thing: your hair. It should be noted the shaves are great as well. Keep up the good work Nick!

I used to go all the way down to The East Village to get my haircut. What a waste of time! Nick and his staff are all incredibly talented and they never fail to give an excellent haircut. I’ve never been disappointed after three years. I’m lucky to have such a great place nearby.

I was in the neighborhood & decided to give this place a try to design my fade. I specifically asked him if he knows how to design pet paws & he said YES. So I’ve waited patiently for him to finish with a customer & showed him a design sample from my phone because he doesn’t have any catalog samples of designs lol. So then I started to notice that he’s only drawing circles & I told him that it’s wrong & he said that there is not enough space & that he CANNOT do it! He left me with an unfinished design & was being extremely lazy, impatient & rude!!! I never had a hair dresser or a barber ever have me leave the salon without finishing the job. I asked him to fix his mistake & he refused to do it because he just wanted to go home because it was the end of the day & if that is the case then he should of not provided service to begin with & not mess up my hair!!! Now I have to wait for it to grow out because he botched it up!!! PLEASE DO NOT go to him for any designs because he is extremely RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Our favorite spot in Astoria for a haircut. Good for the kid as well as the adult. Price is right, too. Walking distance from home, so all the better.
