Came here for the first time after hearing so much about their coffee. It was definitely one of the best freddo’s I’ve had.

Tried the Greek«Freddo» here. Honestly the most enjoyable caffeine experience one can hope to try. This place is a unique bodega in that it has upscale products without any pretense whatsoever.

I ordered a frappé float with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious! A large was $ 4.50 which I thought was a steal for the size and quality. To top it off, they carry Steve’s Ice Cream.

The coffee here is great and WAY cheaper than«those other guys». I got a medium iced coffee for just under $ 3… And it was great. It’s a little strange, because it’s basically just looks like every other bodega in NYC, but the coffee is legit. Enjoy.

Service was a bit annoying. I didn’t want any coffee but was repeated asked if I wanted some. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich but they might as well have given me an egg and cheese sandwich. The sandwich as ONE slice of PAPERTHIN bacon sandwiched with two eggs, which meant I barely could even tell there was bacon(from taste or visually!!). For all the bacon I was given, I was charged $ 4. On the outside, The Coffee Pot looked like a good deli so but I was robbed! Needless to say, I won’t be coming back, even for coffee.

So unassuming. This little deli takes you by surprise — I always make sure to carry cash, so if Im near I can get a cup. Priced reasonably cheap considering its some of the best coffee in the area. I can’t speak for anything else, but its a go-to coffee shop for anyone who’s close.

It’s actually a deli that takes it’s coffee seriously. Just ducked in for a second. The iced coffee was above average. Would definitely go back, but can’t speak for anything else.

Not your average deli by any means! They make some of the best coffee I’ve had in New York. Awesome selection of ice cream and snacks. Staff is really polite and they work quickly and efficiently.

Great Segafredo coffee. Fresh and always delicious. The owners are very warm and welcoming. Did I mention how they are only 1 of 2 locations in Astoria to be serving this authentic coffee?

Decided to try their Segafredo Zanetti Expresso after reading a myriad of reviews. Great tasting coffee/expresso Staff is friendly and organized. Nice selection of ice creams also. Will definitely come back again.

Was craving a coffee and will search far and wide across NYC until I find it! I read the existing reviews about this place and was very curious to find out if it lived up to expectations. For $ 3 I couldn’t really complain! Ordered a soy cappuccino and was pleasantly surprised. The froth was a little ‘bubbly’ but taste wise it was slightly sweet with a bitter aftertaste, just the way I like it! Brownie points for adding cinnamon on the top, which I find lots of places don’t do in this city. Coffee Pot could be easily mistaken for your local deil/corner store but it’s a hidden gem for reals! :)

This place is the best. It has the coolest name in the world, as I think it’s like a coffee pot but looks like a little deli. It’s all about the brand and how it is done. Iced coffee, regular coffee, black, whatever — this place has it all — with a taste. Enjoy what you drink? Come on in. I can’t get enough and I don’t always have time to go here but when I do it’s like a treat.

Great Segafredo brand coffee and espresso. This place turned me on to Freddo’s, which are delicious. It is made up of espresso, milk, and your choice of adding sugar, splenda, etc, it also has a slight foam on top, and can be served with cinnamon. They also have great frappé’s, which is probably the more popular drink, especially here in Astoria. Both are great! I took of a star because some of the staff(but not all) can be a bit rude at times… but I guess that is just a part of NYC.

This place gets 5 stars for the coffee. I promise it is a coffee shop even if it doesn’t look like one! The coffee is cheap and giant. Iced coffee and iced mocha are my personal favorites there. I prefer it to the new NY Bagel and Coffee House place across the street. They seem to have some pretty good groceries for a tiny little bodega(especially candy and granola bars), and the service is quick and friendly. Seriously… come for the coffee!

A lot of people here evoke the sentiment that this is a great get to know everybody who works there spot. Well I don’t frequent many places to ‘get to know’ people, I come for the good food and/or drink. I spent over 2 months after moving to Astoria assuming that this was just another hole-in-the-wall bodega(as it appears from the outside). Boy was I wrong, upon walking in you will find a small but well stocked corner store that just so happens to serve up quite possibly the best coffee in all of Astoria. They serve Segafredo Italian coffee which isn’t the most common that you will here in NYC. But it sure does make a great iced coffee, they are fast and pay attention to the small details in the drink(such as adding hot coffee to melt the sugar before the ice and cold coffee). Just head to this place order a large iced coffee($ 2.50 wow!) and enjoy the goodness in the cup, they even accept credit cards and have no minimum!

On the outside, you wouldn’t think there was anything in the Coffee Pot other than the regular quickie-mart stuff. But, walk in and you’ve got yourself a deli… a coffee shop… and a small mart! We were visiting family who live down the street and needed some snacks and breakfast before hitting the road. The bagel with cream cheese and lox totally hit the spot, as did the coffee. The price was totally reasonable and the guys who work there are really friendly.

Ok, I feel weird writing a review on a little deli/coffee shop but after being here a couple of times, it deserves a little shout out. Super good coffee and espresso — real espresso, no push button. Segafredo. Tons of variety and syrups. Way more than you would expect from the outside. Cinnamon on my cappuccino! Fair priced. A good amount of healthy snacks. Tons of granola bars, protein bars, dried fruit, nuts, etc. The rest of the shop seems to be well kept and tidy. I eyed the variety of Ben & Jerry’s Greek Yogurt :-) A deli/sandwich place as well. And, of course, super nice service. The guys there are very sweet, organized and fast. A great alternative to schlepping down to the Starbucks.

The Coffee Pot provides great coffee, quick and friendly service and is a small family owned business that gets to know its regulars. I’ve been a regular at The Coffee Pot for over a year, and can say that I have never been treated so well by an establishment which I frequented. The employees not only have a great rapport with customers, they also take the time and get to know them as well. Forget the fact that the coffee is pretty stellar. In addition to that they are good old regular deli with a good selection of snacks, drinks, and some basic groceries if you forgot to stop at Key Foods on the way home. Last but not least, if you’re looking for a treat, I highly suggest trying a Café Mocha from there. They steam your milk with hot chocolate powder, then use a bit of chocolate syrup for some extra mocha-y goodness. Add the espresso and a regular or chocolate croissant and you’re ready to start your day. Love this place!

I alternate between going to Starbucks and getting Segafredo here. They also have a very nice selection of pint size ice creams.

It’s safe to say that my roommate Adria B. and I have fast become regulars here. And how could we not, when it’s directly in our morning path to the train station? I’m usually in high bleary bitch mode and barely able to place an order. Yet, somehow the angels behind the counter understand that I need a coffee with an extra shot of espresso, light on the sugar and cream. It’s delicious and my main motivation in getting up each morning.(Can you tell I’m not a morning person?) They serve Segafredo Zanetti coffee — a delicious Italian coffee that’s not exactly the norm around here. I have to point out something that I love here. When I order iced coffee with sugar, they do this amazing, simple thing — they put the sugar in first, then add a small amount of hot coffee to MELTTHESUGAR before they fill it up with iced coffee. It’s so intuitive and simple that I wonder why they can’t do that everywhere. It peeves me when I get an iced coffee or iced tea at Dunkin and I can clearly see the white layer of sugar at the bottom. So annoying! Another perk — they take credit cards with no minimum. I’m terrible at carrying around cash so I love these small shops where I don’t have to feel pressured/guilty when I pay for my $ 2 coffee with a card. The best perk of all — the people are so nice and friendly that even though I know I should be saving money and not buying coffee so often, I don’t feel so bad knowing that I’m giving them some business. They found out we’re in school(though, I suspect they’re thinking high school and not grad school…) and now they smile and wish us a good day at school. Adria once went there all stressed out before our final and the kind man proceeded to give her some wisdom on how tests and grades don’t really matter and life is more about people and relationships. WORD. I like you, old wise man. I like you, Coffee Pot. Please continue to feed me your excellent coffee.
