Callina’s School of Dance

This school is great. The teachers are all amazing and they and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It feels like one big family. They even had a small play area with toys for kids who are not participating in classes. I have many friends who attended this school growing up and all use to rave about it but now that I am signing my own kids up I could not be happier. Recommend to anyone looking!

What a wonderful experience we have had here! My 4-​year-​old daughter started taking ballet at Callina’s this summer and we will definitely be registering for the fall. The owner and staff are warm, welcoming, and accommodating, providing a variety of supports to help the kids feel comfortable, from pre-​class games, crafts, and stickers, to patient and loving teachers and assistants who actively try to engage the more reluctant kids. Tonight, the studio provided pizza for all the dancers after class.
Their understanding of kids is apparent when they invite parents in at the end of each class to see our children’s progress. By today, the third class, every child was able to participate in this mini-​recital. (In comparison, another studio we tried last summer was unable to get the class together by the end of a six-​week session. Last summer, my daughter refused to participate; this summer, she declared that she likes being at ballet better than she likes being at home and runs the last block to class.)
The facility is nice, nothing fancy, but comfortable and clean. There’s even an excellent playroom available for siblings or before/​after class.
