Blu Astoria

My husband and I have dined here two times. Both times, both the meal and service were incredible. I would give it 5 stars, but the drinks the first time were a bit inconsistent. They seem to be working on this issue, and are revamping their drink menu. The second dinner, we were given the choices of mojitos or margaritas as cocktails, or beer or wine. They said it was because of the revamp of drink menu. Being that this is a really new restaurant/​bar, I’m fine with that.
Let me tell you, the food was incredible. Fresh, flavorful. Was pleasantly surprised. The nachos we had were so crispy. I asked if the chips were made in house because it seemed like they were. I was correct. Great surf and turf followed.
The first time we dined here I had the Diablo shrimp. Also incredible. Reasonably priced as well.
I’m not sure what it is like as a club, but I’m looking forward to my next Blu dining experience.

How the hell they don’t serve Long Island Ice Tea?. They didnt have Henny and Cranberry… They didnt have anymore hookahs… the music was wack… but other than that the place is nice and big. Disappointing really.
